DANTE from DMC4 vs GABRIEL KNOWN AS DRACULA from Castlevania LOS2
whom wins?
BloodRain
Afaik Dante dominates him.

Didn't Gabriel tank a country level attack or something?

yes he did

Well, iirc, in LoS2, Gabriel can move at at least hypersonic+ speeds, can tank a blinding holy light attack that's country level in destructive power (and as a vampire, he's supposed to be weak against that sort of thing) and can trade hits with foes much larger than himself. Not sure what else he can do as I don't play the game, but he should be able to turn into mist and all that stuff.
BloodRain
The light was greater than the damage. Damage-wise it nukes the area but still leaves part of the castle intact at ground zero. Not how sure the damage spread though.
Not sure whats hypersonic yet, it'd have to be pretty high for this thread
The Scenario
Does Dante have any electricity based powers?
BloodRain
Several, in projectile and strike forms.

Alastor comes to mind. Haven't finished the entire series to cite anything else.

There's also Nevan. But wait... this is DMC4 Dante... does he get all of his DMC weapons, or just certain ones?

dante can have many weapons in this thread
BloodRain
Nevan, Alastor where in DT also fires lightning bolts, and the lightning amulet in DMC2.
Though I don't feel a necessity on electrocution is needed.

No. He no-sold the explosion, but he was immune to God's power, which is what caused the explosion.
Dracula then later no-sells an attack from an entity that is at least life-wiping, but could be planet busting. And while said attack wasn't completely powered up, Dracula wasn't at his peak either.

Dracula's Castle was never left intact. The lore states that there was a crater left behind that the city was then built on.
There's a theory that the Castle Dracula travels to is in a separate dimension. Besides, the Castle can 'resurrect' itself.
BloodRain
I saw the lore crater, that was why I searched for the feat. But in the very cutscene we clearly see parts of buildings/the castle still, if wrecked, standing instantly after the explosion.
Demonic Phoenix
All I see is smoke, an outline of a damaged structure, the tree, some rubble, and bodies. Dunno where you see parts of the castle.
The Scenario
I believe he means the outlines.

Demonic Phoenix
Yes, I know.
Outline on left = The tree that was behind Roland and Dracula.
Outline in middle - Damaged structure.
Outline on right = I believe that's fencing.
Contrast that with all of the castle structure we see prior to the explosion. We can see almost none of that when the camera zooms out just after Alucard's appearance. Most of it appears to be rubble in the Revelations cutscene.
BloodRain
Those are some mighty fine squiggles.
Can we get an after scene to show the damage? It looks like the blast force of a nuke close up.
danteiscool
In which case, Dracula still shrugged off a nuke-level attack, though like you pointed out, Demonic Phoenix, he's immune to God's power anyway. Given his naturally high resistance to magical attacks, will any of Dante's non-sword/bullet attacks do him any real harm?

Eh, a tree survived it. Anyway, there is the fact that one acolyte had Gabriel at his complete mercy for several minutes with an electricity based attack. Throughout the whole game Gabriel and electricity just didn't mix.
Unfortunately it's just a better view of the maybe tree and a whole lot of smoke. Can't see anything through it before the screen goes dark, and the Alucard part of it isn't any better.

With the force that leave that much intact at ground zero? The total force of the blast could be high but the force individual things take when caught in it, the psi blast wave, isn't that impressive. But yeah, god powers.
High resistance only seems to be with said god's holy powers. All other magic has been shown to harm him, and there's never been an issue with physical attacks.
Dante won't be making much of a threat in Gabe, whose !speed and strength is only a fraction of his. Where Dante could dick around and still win.
