FinalAnswer
King Arthur with full gear can't be defeated. sneer

Rand al'Thor wins rounds 2 and 3.
He is a legit reality warper at the end of the series
No clue who wins round 1.

Please. Jaime Lannister beat him with one hand. Clearly Rand is not all he is cracked up to be.
This selection is meh. Mostly fantasy novel characters except Link and Luke. Needs more variety.

No clue who wins round 1. Well, I mean, so were Ganon, Majora, Zant, Vaati, Ghirahim, Demise, Yuga, etc. Historically, warping reality is not the key to victory against Link once he has the Master Sword.
Granted, I know very little about that guy since I have legitimately zero interest in reading the series he's from, so I'm not saying he doesn't win, just that the reasoning supplied wouldn't account for it on its own.

Rand is a Mary Sue who becomes a god apparently.

Yeah, so I've heard. Hence my disinterest in his series, lol.
That said, I'm not sure just what level of power or changes to him that entails. /Shrug.

Apparently he at one point channeled enough magical energy that, were he to lose concentration, would melt the entire planet. Did that for a whole day. Not sure how that stacks up to the Full Tri-Force(and if Link had that that would be rather unfair) so there you go.

Well, the triforce is the best measuring stick we have for the Master Sword, more importantly. As to whether or not Link gets the Triforce, or even what Link it is, that's up to the OP, lol.
In round 1, of the names I know, almost any Link, since they share a fairly similar set of physical attributes would be enough. Again, that's discounting the names I don't know much about.
Melting a planet is cool, but as of ALBW the Triforce passively sustains existence of the Zeldaverse, putting the Master Sword on probably a level of being able to deal with Rand, I guess?
I dunno, I'm going to be real, I've heard so much contradictory information about Rand that I just don't care to debate it without seeing the information myself, and I just don't want to read the books.

Oh, sorry, I wasn't very clear it seems.
1. Swords only is about skill only, imagine equalized body stats, speed agility etc.
This should be the most balanced one, I see them all as skilled fighters 8-10/10.
2. Abilities the chars have can be used for amping their physical stats only.
With this some get stomped, like Aragorn for example, thought the magic weapons might help them. Lone Wolfs Sword absorbs all offensive magic cast against him for example, so a very good def.
3. All out fight.
This is where the truly OP chars outshine anyone else and is just for the lulz.

Oh. Round 1 is purely speculation, then. "Skill" is an extremely hard to compare and pinpoint idea in fiction because of how differently it is displayed even within the same media.
For example; video games. Some games display skill with overt and flashy animations, and follow the Rule of Cool, practicality be damned. Others are more realistic in their portrayal of fighting styles and show it in more subtle ways, such as statements from characters.
Skill is just really subjective, imho.
In round 2, do they have their normal physical base stats?
And yeah, this is also important:

I'd give Arthur Dayne round 1, going by hype.
While it's true that it's hard to quantify skill, Arthur Dayne is basically thought of as one of if not the single best swordsman Westeros has ever had, to the extent that even Jaime Lannister, generally considered the best swordsman alive, is in awe of his abilities and doubts that he could ever match his legacy (though there are reasons for that beyond just swordplay).
Everyone else on the list is thought of as a capable and skilled swordsman to be sure, but none (to my knowledge, I know nothing about a few of the characters like Rand or Elric) are given as much prestige as Arthur Dayne.
Nephthys
Geralt > Dayne.

I'll throw Link's stupid goofy hat into the ring, for round 1, I suppose.

"You fight like no man or demon I have ever known".
A pretty manly thing to hear from the guy who mortally wounded Hylia. Granted, it seems to be indicative of Link's overall prowess as much as his skill, but I'll throw it in.
So, make of that what you guys will. I don't know dick about Dayne or how relatively skilled Westeros is overall or etc.
I would like to say that without the EU or force precog Luke is probably gonna get schooled though because Movie Luke had like two lightsaber battles, ever.
NemeBro
I will also grant that another character in ASOIAF posits that though Dayne was obviously a very skilled swordsman, the fact that he also wielded the best sword in the setting is where a lot of his prowess came from.
On the other hand, the character who said that is a ****ing ****** who can't even assassinate a little girl and is obviously butthurt jellymad, who should probably kill himself.

It's measurable to some extent, but I don't think it can be proven to a concrete enough level that people who disagree initially will be forced to sway their viewpoints. Not always, anyway.
In round 2 adult OoT Link is where I place my money, then. He's something of a physical badass.
Thanks, man. Scythe made it for me. Long live the Goat.
Odds are I wouldn't know them, either. Neme and Neph might, though? So who knows.

Yep. And his final duel with the god of evil, he was creating entire worlds (like ones where there was no evil).
