In this fight, Geralt visits the Hobbitverse and face to face with any stuff in the verse. He has all of the weapons and equipments from Witcher series and also he brought Roach as a transport to travel the verse

Could he solo the verse or will he dies in a round?

Omega Vision
What do you mean "solo the verse?"

No way one guy with slightly above human attributes and minor magical abilities (admittedly a badass) is going to "solo" an entire world.

He'd probably beat Aragorn by fighting dirty, but I doubt he could fight say, Smaug, or the Balrog.

FinalAnswer
He'd probably just beat Aragorn tbh

StealthRanger
I'm assuming you're referring to the movie-verse?

Either way, doesn't get too far from what I hear of him

You meant "can Geralt live in the world of Lotr like he does in Witcherverse?" If that is your question I'm inclined to say yes. Geralt will have to alter the way he lives, unlike Witcher Lotr isn't populated with monsters around every corner. But I have no doubt that he has the required ability to survive and live in almost any random fantasy world, as long as that, and only that, is his main objective.

You literally said "solo the verse."

Yeah, probably. He's probably = to Aragorn in a straight up sword fight, but his magic would be too much for the King of Men.

Seeing as Middle Earth Enterprises approved Shadow of Mordor as canon, how does Geralt fair when he comes across Talion's sheer awesomeness?

Shadow of Mordor? Canon?

laughing out loud

CosmicComet
Yes.

Sorry, the licensing house for it has deemed it so.

It's just like Star Wars did with expanded universe material (before Disney acquired them).

So fan indignation is pointless as a retort.

KingD19
Geralt could comfortably fight most things in the LotRverse barring the stuff you need to be uber level to beat or need special weapons. Especially if you consider his fights with the Wild Hunt.

Please point me to a single place where they called it canon.

Or, actually point me to their general canon layout.

I'll wait.

I thought only Christopher Tolkien could do that.

Upon double checking, it appears to be muddied and not outright.

http://venturebeat.com/2014/09/19/how-middle-earth-shadow-of-mordor-stays-true-to-tolkiens-fantasy-universe/

I was recalling this article from two years ago on hazy memory, about how they collaborated intensely with the ME Enterprises, but this is all they said:

So not outright said anywhere.

Regardless, since its a different medium from the primary(novels), its secondary canon at most anyway(--so case of contradictions default to the writings--), if its even canon at all.

Then Geralt is completely screwed. Geralt has beaten a dragon, so he should have a a chance against Smaug, however small. I can't recall anything comparable to the Balrog so... No he doesn't beat Lotr.

quanchi112
Geralt has no chance.

Trocity
Considering Shadow of Mordor changes Celebrimbor's lore I would hope it's not canon no expression
