Max was indeed an omniversal power, as confirmed multiple times on panel:

That last scan, btw, is the Void talking - a universal-level power in her own right.

Still, I'd buy Wanda as the bigger threat, given what the Chaos Wave did. It's Wanda or Stalemate, IMO.

I don't see him poofing her out of existence or anything like that, no. I think the strongest piece of evidence for his power is his ability to shut off time and space against the Void and everything else. But that was because he controlled reality. Wanda does, as well. And to a more threatening degree with the Wave, to me.

Galan007
Hmm, cool. I disagree though.

Yes I know. stick out tongue It's weird. Some posters want to badly overrate Wanda, and some (I'd say in reaction to that) want to badly downplay her. It's the Quan's Thanos syndrome!

*shrug*

*shrug* I'm in the gray area with her. Do I believe she unleashed an omniversal power? Yes. Do I believe she had full control over said power once it expanded beyond the areas she wanted to change? Not necessarily.

Yup. Recent issues of WildCATs. #14-18.

I liked how Max was portrayed in those issues. Instead of being the bratty kid with a bunch of power that he used to be, he matured into a calm and collected savior. Granted he may not have done much on the high-end (though his St. Louis feat was pretty neat), but I still enjoyed the part he played quite a bit.

Not necessarily.
Wanda didn't have control of the wave,
it was just her power pouring out of 616, that's what the Chaos Wave is.

But at the end, after the Omniverse (save for 616) was torn to pieces,
then Wanda put it all back with a thought.

That right there is the true fully controlled Omniversal feat credited to Wanda,
then as we know, nullifying the mutant gene (90%) across all timelines,
again, is another display of precise control on an omniversal scale.

Agreed. I'd say this is a tossup, though.

I hope Max returns to the DCnU. Hell, I hope WildCATS returns with Jim Lee again.
