Well, yeah a little... but the fact that that's not actually going to be in the film makes me lose that excitement.

They already made a Smurfs movie, it was called "Avatar."

Buy yet he did'nt eat them..........yeah so much for avatar being Smurfs the tv show.

Yeh but he's Gargamel isn't eating the smurfs in the Movie, plus eating them wasn't always his motive, he also wanted to turn make Gold...the very first smurf story was about Gargamel catching a smurf to make gold. Plus he was once so enraged that he said he didn't want them for gold or to eat them but he just wanted to destroy them so....

Well i would'nt say its 100% smurf story when it comes to Avatar only about 50%.

He does great voices but I can't see myself seeing the movie.I read the plot in yesterday's newspaper and it sounds stupid to me.

I'll check it out when it hits dvd... or cable.

Me cable maybe but love the cartoon too much to see them ruin it for me.
