I can't remember movie Zod because I last watched the classic Superman movies when I was a kid. However Smallville Zod is a chump.
Clark dodges, catches and outruns bullets after they've been fired whereas Zod got tagged by a Kryptonite bolt by Oliver. And he has no strength feats to speak of IIRC.
