In terms of power gap what is the greatest example of a character who (without using heavy amounts of PIS but instead exploiting a certain weakness or a special strength of theirs) can take down a far superior character?

When Galactus first appeared and after Galactus defeated Sphinx. Both times Richards defeated Galactus by threatning him with the UN.

Blanket, Tyrant is right. Reed and Galactus was a huge David v Goliath moment. Galactus survived not one issue but an entire story arc when pitted against Reed's genius even though one would expect he'd succumb in the first page to Reed's crazy prep.

What happened?

he died trying to save a family, managed to save a woman but a girl didnt make it. So she and Parker ended up on the "other side". Sm didnt care he was dead but because of the girl challenged Thanos. And during the "fight" managed to reason with Death. Thanos was like wtf.

Without PIS, its harder then I thought.
