CM3 was on the JSA? Granted Marvel himself would make this a cemented win for the JSA to begin with.

Take out everyone on the JSA team except for CM3, Alan Scott and Jay and the Avengers lose solidly. This is just major spite.

Honestly, CM3 isn't as much of a threat as Atom Smasher, imo.

Typically, Freddy is sharing his powers with Billy and/or Mary at the time, and is usually "Captain Marvel 1/3" in terms of power/strength. If he's using the full power of Shazam, then he may as well be replaced with Billy.

Atom Smasher is also a lot more one dimensional than CM3.

No I'd say Midnighter is. In terms of power Spidey is far above any street-leveler with Class 10 strength, web-shooters, and superhuman speed and agility.

yes and no for me. Jay Garrick will pose a really difficult problem to deal with for most of the Avengers team. He will just give them fits.

Most of the time the Marvels, even when sharing, don't seem to be knocked down to 1/2 - 1/3rd. They're a bit weaker when there's more active, but most writers seem to still write them as quite powerful IMO.
