In order to become an Avenger, Colossus must arm wrestle with Namor and win to join the team. Namor comes straight from a swimming pool, and they lock arms a la Predator (1987) what Dutch and Dillon did. Who wins?

Namor breaks his arm

Russians tend to know how to arm wrestle (the skill of it) and therefore can defeat beings that are significantly stronger.

Since there is no evidence that Piotr knows how to arm wrestle, Namor wins by default.

I've never seen Hulk beat the Thing unconscious with Ben's own fist, but I have seen Hulk beat Thor unconscious with his own hammer.

That's all I'm saying.

I haven't been following the X-Men since the early '00s. Have Marvel writers increased his feats of strength since? I'm far more knowledgeable about Namor's feats and that leads me to think Colossus, barring cultural experience in arm wrestling, can't hang with Namor.

Bar Astonishing, no. But it's still not enough to put him on Namor's level.

I've literally seen guys who are masters in arm wrestling (technique) beats guys that are at least 3-5 times stronger. I can post clips if you guys like.

If Colossus knows how to arm wrestle well (very skillful) then he can easily beat someone that is a few times stronger (some will even disagree that Namor is a few times stronger).

The first part is a bit inaccurate, imo. Just because one would have to prove they're 3-5 times stronger in all the used muscles, like finger/forearm muscles etc.

Being 3-5 times stronger in a squat or leg curl, for example, isn't much help.

Also, I would like to point out, how in the hell do you even know they are 3-5 times stronger than another man (which is a pretty outrageous claim, putting a human at black bear like strength but ok)

Are you going by "they look bigger" or do Russian arm wrestlers go by the Marvel stat category?
