But recently, I'm digging Cannonball, Nightcrawler, and Beast.

Rachel and Sage are getting to me. I'm currently reading Uncanny Xmen (The New Age)

for me Jean Grey as Phoenix

Magneto. I like how his character isn't plain good or bad the way the overwhelming majority of characters are portrayed. He has the capacity for love as well, he's expressed it to his kids, and he's always valued Charles and was always his friend despite the fact that they wanted different things. His past made him a bitter person who doesn't believe in peace, it made him cruel, but he's still human and is capable of deep feelings, and empathy, and, unlike many other villains, he always has a lot of class.

Psylocke ... She is an awesome character with depth and she has awesome skill set and powers. She is great.
After that The White queen again depth through a complicated life and how she adjusted to her nature after the hellions death.

No one's mentioned Bishop. So I will. Absorbing energy then shooting it back is cool.

I never liked Bishop, tbh. Never really disliked him either, just never cared.

I liked his power. Nightcrawler's also cool.

But my favorites are Cyclops and Iceman.

Nightcrawler is pretty cool yeah.

X-men really shouldn't have incinerated his body considering how easy it is in the MU to bring back the dead.
