Dr. Strange at the height of his power versus Galactus would have been fun to see. But Galactus at the height of his power? Strange would have to be busting out all of his amulets etc. like when he took on Warlock and the Infinity Gauntlet to do anything.

Unless you mean Strange with the power he gained from Shuma Gorath or something.

Could max power Galactus take on the Infinity Gauntlet channeling only the power gem, in your opinion?

Thanos didn't seem to really be using the gauntlet with more then one gem at a time, as Warlock did against Strange (Thanos mostly accessed the other gems to reverse effects, but his attacks were mostly power blasts, marking the power gem usage..), and we saw how he handled the cosmic brigade..

When he reversed Chrono's time manipulation, that was the time gem at work. When he blasted the Celestials into atoms, that was the power gem.

Just because he didn't state which gem he was using, like Warlock did against Strange, doesn't mean he was somehow using all the gems in unison for each effect. Each gem has a specific power, and that's how you can tell he's only accessing one at a time..

Peak Strang can summon dormammu, shuma growth, chaos and order AND the living tribunal.

Pretty sure the gems don't work that way. Or, there's no proof that they do.

The time gem manipulates time. The soul gem or space gem, for example, don't factor into it.

Obviously, the gems being together amplifies each ones effects immeasureably, but each effect is still gem specific.

I just read S.H.I.E.L.D. and Professor Xavier could beat Galactus if his hungry.

Example: When all the cosmics dogpiled thanos he unleashed its full power and just warped them all to hell.

@ this thread. Strange with a shitload of artifacts could only hold off one gem of the IG. Galactus steps on him.
