Yes, team 2 is overpowered, and not just from G.Rugal and S.Gouki... You've got S.Mr. Karate, a dude that ranks just as highly as those two. E.Ryu who is not that far behind in the stakes, and Algol, a dimension warper and immortal...

Nightmare Geese is perhaps the only one who would last more than a round on team 1, Gills power of resurrection gets swallowed whole when faced with 3 potential SGS users, and Bison and Violent Ken get shut down horribly, especially by Algol.
