Now, I'm typing this while simultaneously cycling through a couple dozen pairs of pants, but as this article confirms, Capcom has finally confirmed that they're returning to the Megaman Legends franchise, the third game to be released for Nintendo's upcoming 3DS.

Now, people who know me, know that I don't give a flying f*ck for Megaman; I think he's even more an overly whored out has-been than Sonic could ever be, and hasn't had a piss hole's worth of anything halfway decent. But I'll stress here and now that whenever I say things like this, I leave Megaman Legends as a HUGE exception to this, and now that the one Megaman franchise that I give two shits about is finally returning after some ten plus years, I can only say that it's about ****ing time.

Anyone who remembers the Megaman Legends franchise probably remembers the cliffhanger-esque ending to Megaman Legends 2, with a couple plot points that were not entirely resolved (anyone remember Joe?), and Megaman stuck on Elysium with Yuna and Sera, with Roll, Tron, and the others working to find a way into space to find them. I've not once forgotten, and am damn stoked to finally see a return to this story.

All that's left now is a God Hand sequel, Shenmue III, and a new Starfox title, and I'll know the joy of living.

I realize this game isn't everything there could be, nor was it the only game worth it, but still, there's nothing on the horizon for 3DS, just like there's nothing now... a rehashed Zelda can only take it so far

A Kingdom Hearts game on it is a fairly large step in the right direction. Same thing could be said for a Star Fox remake I might have heard about. Can't remember for sure though.

I've grown to dislike SFIV. Used to love it, but at least I tolerate it now, it has a certain charm... MvC3 has none of that

Kidding about Makoto, but she is so much better she might as well be a new character. She didn't suck in Super...sure she had to work a bit around fireballs but once she got started you were getting hit by a fricking train. Now it is almost retarded how she can bully most of the cast. LoL. Makoto is the train about to run you over and Fei Long is a wall slowly pushing you to the corner so it can squash you.

Yeah, Yun is just too beast. Factor in Daigo and you got yourself a game you will never be the best at. Just seen a vid of a 100% Yun combo on Seth. Not cool, man. Don't know abaout all that other shit but what was done with SF (for the most part) and MVC3 was cool. Wanted, expected and accepted.

Aside from chargin for DLC that's on the disc, puttin' SFIV on the iPod and the 3DS, and makin the abomination that is SFxT. They handled SFIV and MVC3 pretty well.

I have no problem with SFIV, they handled that very well, MvsC3 does bother because of the short span between games, and no option for DLC is bullshit.

the RE 3DS debacle was just so funny, I wouldn't had ever paid for that half-assed game anyways

what really bothers me about Capcom is the on-disc DLC BS, that's just low, the constant connection DRM is also annoying and the way they handle MML3 was just insulting. People were willing to pay for a demo-beta, and then they say fans were not interested/are to blame

Well I agree with most of the things in there and heck, they can put in more, like Ghost Rider's absence from MvC3, something I knew was BS.

I never quite understood why people were upset over the short span between MvC3 and UMvC3. If you ask me, I say bring in UMvC3 as soon as possible.
