Most likely...nothing short of a shot through the heard or brain will stop him even if he does get tagged.

but, it will slow him down enough to get more hits on him and reduce his fighting ability which would be dangerous against blade and his adamantium Sword.

afterall Kaine dont have no Healing Factor.
