Regelion1
Deru was a magical wasteland planet full of dying people and creatures. Until one day a giant light crashed on the planet. The light shined as bright as the sun allowing everyone on the planet to see it before the ground began swallowing it. Before the light was swallowed whole the light shot out billions of smaller lights into the air, the lights then scattered across the planet. As the small lights flew across the planet life began to grow turning the wasteland into a beautiful place. Tree's and plants flourished, rivers flowed and life was restored to the planet. The orbs landed all over the planet. One was discovered by a man named Manfred Von Karma an adventurer, strong fighter and scientist. Von Karma could feel the powerful energy from the orb, it then began to consume his mind. The power from the orb made him want more . Von Karma began experimenting on the orb trying to give it more power and each test began to affecting the creatures of Deru. The creatures of Deru began attacking people forcing them to defend themselves. The power the people possed was barley enough to hold off the creatures. They then decided to try to use the power of the orbs along with their magic and skills to defeat the creatures. The orbs powers made them stronger and allowed them to defeat the creatures. The people of Deru started making weapons that could channel the power of the orb to better defeat the creatures. A year had passed and the creatures were attacking more often until the sky turned gray and the image of a women towered over Deru. The women spoke "I am Makku goddess of Deru and keeper of the Destiny Orb the light that gave your planet light. Your world is in danger of being destroyed by a man named Manfred Von Karma,. He has created the polar equivalent of the Destiny Orb the Desolation Orb. The Desolation Orb is very powerful and dangerous I can not leave to stop him or i would put the safety of the Destiny Orb in Jeopardy. I need your best warriors to venture off and find Von Karma to save your planet and every one on it."

Manfred Von Karma sat in his throne in his Castle in Skelhel where none dared to venture or knew where it was for that matter. Von Karma held his cane in his hand with the Desolation orb in his staff it's cosmic glow was so dark it was pure evil. He hungered for more power he need the Destiny Orb to satisfy this hunger but none of his people would be strong enough to obtain the orb from Goddess Makku. He knew his power wasn't strong enough yet to challenge her so he had to wait till that time but he knew she would send others after him to stop him. Von karma sat in his throne with dark aura swirling around him as he banged his cane on the ground sending a ripple of evil through the floor to summon his Servants. The ripple also affected the creatures from a distance corrupting there minds forcing them to attack people and villages.

In the village of Bosque Durmiente they where under attack by a large pack of Kusamara and five Orcagals the village fought but they where strong. This was the first time Kusamara and Orcagals worked together to attack anything the villagers where fighting but it was hard how organized they where. Then a large group of Kusamara cornered a group of villagers they where about to be killed when several slashes where heard and in an instant the Kusamara where killed. The villagers looked around to see who had saved them but no one was seen then a voice was heard. "You guy's aren't going to let weak Kusamara kill you are you don't disgrace the village by dying on us now." Regelion jumped down from a roof landing in front of the villagers he cracked his neck and ran towards the other creatures. He reached behind him pulling out his two weapons four Kusamara turned towards Regelion there tails extended two shot a stream of water at him while the other two froze the streams to make ice shards. Regelion took his sword and blocked each shard while using his Kama he threw it like a boomerang cutting the Kusamara in half he kept running till he was past the Kusamara at the same time grabbing his Kama and stopping. At the moment he stopped they split in half and disappeared. Regelion cracked his neck like he was done but he forgot about the Orcagals they then shot out of the ground into the air to rain down an attack on him.

The Scenario
The village of Tarenhold had always been peaceful. Its inhabitants had mostly just gone on with their lives, doing the best they could under the circumstances. It hadn't been their fault the Wastes had crept up on them, or that the land was dying. It hadn't been their fault the magical creatures that roamed the world turned against them. Now Tarenhold fought for its life. Victor stood at the crossroads that marked the center of the village, several black spheres floating near him. He viewed the destruction that had become all too common, listening to the screams and explosions that slowly tore the small village apart. Dozens of doglike creatures, their bodies composed only of tree roots, leaped and pounced on anything that moved. Kusamara, they were called. As one of the monsters cornered a villager, Victor could stand it no longer. With one movement, he produced his spellbook with one hand while flinging the other forward, fingers outstretched. The Kusamara he targeted was suddenly flung off its feet, body crumpling as the bolt of force slammed it into the wall of a nearby shop. Satisfied that the creature was dead, Victor turned, releasing more blasts into the horde.

Hitosu Moriko
The village of Tsuchi-Hanagakure was wasteland village that had a mystery of how it was always able to grow flowers in the a wasteland village this is what gave the name and birth to Tsuchi-Hanagakure, but village was a hot target that would get attack by these weird bird/human creatures also known as the Tori no hito they would always swoop down and take a human villager for there meals. Hitosu a villager who was a gun specialist was a powerful gun specialist who has fought these creatures for a while when him and his team fought to protect their village, but his team didn't make it through in the past year his team was ambushed and Hitosu was the only person who survived he now destroys these creatures ruthlessly, and destructively. Five Tori no hito came to the village and swooped in houses. Hitosu started to hear screams he grabbed his guns and left his workshop and readied himself where two of the Tori no hito were waiting "Ahh so your the gunner well your in no way strong enough to kill us for were th-" Hitosu shot at the bird face and blew it up right in front of the other bird creature. Hitosu glared at the other "You have two options Leave this place or end up like your friend now choose wisely" the bird played coy "y-yy-y you don't scare me" Hitosu looked at the bird with an evil look "Wrong choice". Hitosu kicked the bird down on the floor and positioned his gun in his face "See you in hell" Hitosu shot a boulder bullet at bird creature the boulder was huge it smashed the creatures skull on the ground. Hitosu readied for the other three that were terrorizing the village. Two more of them came at him swooped but Hitosu just jumped and Them from behind with dark bullets through there vertebrae they fell down with a thud. Hitosu then heard the last one ith a woman screaming "My baby someone help me" The baby was clutch by the creatures claw Hitosu went to a good distance and shot the claw of the creature releasing the baby. Hitosu caught the baby and readied his gun "Rapid fire should kill you, you sick beast" Hitosu shot his gun heavily it released a blizzard of bullets at the creature and all of them hit the bird was sot down and done with. The gun wielder returned the woman's child back "Thank you Hitosu I am grateful" Hitosu went back and left with saying "It was nothing"

Time slowed to a stop around the Regelion, the orcagals also stopped in mid air. Madison jumped from atop a tree on to the nearest creature landing on its shoulders then twisted its head off then jumped to the next one and impaled her sharp nails through its back and chest and moved to the next, she simply dropped kicked this one on the top of its head causing its skull to cave in. At that moment time began to move at its regular speed, the orcalgals fell to the ground already dead. Madison landed on Regelions side, she looked at him with a faint smile, "It looked like you needed some assistants my love and please stop cracking your neck its a bad habit that can not be good for it," she said somberly. Madison's ear twitched, "oops, I must be getting rusty," she said spinning around stomping her foot on the ground causing the ground it self several feet away to pillar up sending an orcagals airborne, Madison out stretched her arm toward the creature and it suddenly caught fire and fell to the ground in ashes. Madison spun back to her lovers side taking his arm and placed her cheek on his muscle, he really did make her feel girly but she liked it he was a lot taller then her and strong but she could still beat him up or at least he let her. Madison used a finger to place a stray hair out of her face forgeting about the creatures blood still on her hands causing her to leave blood on her forehead. The wolf girl looked up at Regelion with a concerned expression, "these attacks are becoming more frequent," she said with a sigh. Her once peaceful village hidden in the forest was now a place of danger and there was little she could do, she could only fight for so long and she knew one day she would fall and then the village would be destroyed.

Regelion1
Regelion turned towards Madison and smiled towards her. "Your right beautiful thats true but there is one thing I want to know and thats." Regelion went behind Madison and started rubbing on her breast. "Who told you to butt in i had them where i wanted them. No matter did you get bigger it seems so well thats what i would expect from my futuer wife." The villagers around them started to cheer for Regelion and Madison.

The Scenario
The monsters, Kusamara, just kept coming. Individually they were relatively weak, or as weak as something that could tear a man to peices could concievably be, yet Victor knew their true strength lay in numbers. As he fought, a group of the root creatures knocked a woman from her feet and began to tear at her fiercely. "Leave this place!" Victor thundered, waving his hand in their direction. The pages of the book Victor held erupted with blue light, flipping themselves to the appropriate spells as he called them out.
One Kusamara lunged at its prey, and collided with the shield that sprang into existence around the fallen woman. At the same moment, the woman stood up and lashed out with her fist, breaking the skull of a second creature with the supernatural strength Victor had lent to her. She flashed a knowing smile at Victor and was gone, picking up a fallen log with one hand to use as a weapon. Victor nodded to her before turning his attention to the remaining Kusamara. There were more now, bearing wooden fangs as they surrounded Victor. And then there was a new threat.
Leonine roars split the day, as a Learow crept into Victor's sight. It appeared as a lion, but had pale fur traced with orange sigils, and it's eyes glowed with malice. Victor prepared to fight, but just as he began to shout a wrenching pain tore at his eyes, and the monsters struck. Claws of wood and bone alike ripped Victor's robes as he tried to regain his concentration. One Kusamara went flying as a bolt of force struck it, and the Learow bounced off of Victor's sheild, throwing both of them a small distance. Victor knew he couldn't keep it up for long, not with the pain distracting and weakening everything he did. Victor accepted what he thought was inevitable, and decided to go down fighting.

Madison felt Regelions hands and she quickly jabbed her elbow into his ribs then spun around and kicked him in the face. She didn't really mind him touching her it was that he did it so rudely and she would not stand for it, even though beating him wasn't working. The once cheering villagers were now laughing, Madison lets out a sigh, "try to move pass your childish ways...anyways, I'm going home I'll see you later," with that she jumped into a tree and vanished from the others sight. The two lovers were different as night and day but they were rarely apart from each other.

"HEY!" came a shout from the distance. From the road came running the strangest looking boy, he seemed to be clad in...books. He was rushing forward with both arm gripping a rather large sack that seemed to be be bulging with items. As he closed in on the Learow he spun, and the sack soared in a large arc. As it did so, it appeared to collect an massive amount of earth, which softened into mud before suddenly hardening, and upon impact, the sound of shattering clay could be heard as the Learow was thrown further off balance by the strange boy's attack.

The youth seemed to stumble and almost trip, but righted himself as he came beside the man under attack. It could be seen now clearly that he was covered in books! He reached up against himself and pulled one of the books free, revealing fabric underneath. At the same time, three spheres danced around him. One orbited his head, a bright red-orange that seemed to radiate heat; one circled his torso in a diagonal, clear but seeming to let loose droplets in random directions. The last rolled around his feet, and looked to be a perfectly smooth round rock. At a gesture from the book lad, the spheres seemed to pulse, and the ground trembled. Suddenly, around the Kusamara sprouted fiery domes, trapping the wooded creatures within. At the same time soil errupted around the Learow, which bubbled and churned as water joined it, forming a bubbling, muddy wall around. Fire arced along the mud and it hardened, forming a clay prison for the creature.

The youth nodded and grinned as he pushed his glasses up his nose, seemingly satisfied with his work. He then turned to face the stranger and pointed at his open novel. "You have a book, too!" he exclaimed.

With the village still fairly occupied by creatures, it would take a sufficient amount of damage even during the remainder of the battle. Naiyao, a young female in red fabric clothing with a light brown cloak around her body and the hood pulled over her head, stood at the entrance to the village. "It's the same here as well." She looks at the people of the village who have been attacked and rather than wait for an introduction quickly rushes inside near the two residents who already occupy and defend it. She slides to a sudden stop on the back of her right heel, grasping beneath her cloak at the back of her waist with both hands and unleashes two ferocious sabers which extend no further than to her elbow length. With an acknowledgment of words in her mind, her voice let's out a shattering beacon with the words being pronounced "Soverign Gale!" her body exerts a mass amount of electric waves that move through the air within 10 yards of her and through the bodies of only designated targets; the creatures specifically. The creatures turn with a burned blackened body as due to the lightening attack and they fall to the ground. With the end of her attack she turns and slides her blades back behind her waist, awaiting the next attack. Though she takes a momentarily break and states a comment to the two behind her. "This village won't last, the creatures will continue to attack until it falls."

Speculum felt the dark call of his master echo in his head and he grimaced. Why was it always when he was having fun? The handful villagers that had dared venture into the dark ruins where he had chosen to rest for a while trembled, huddled in a corner. The crying woman whimpered as her would-be defender hit the cold hard stone.

Speculum felt another ripple calling to him, von Karma wasn't an especially patient man. Speculum grinned at the Inus: "I hope you enjoy your meal." Then he let the call teleport him to his master.

Victor managed to regain control of himself, clutching at the blindfold that still covered his useless eyes. The pain was receding, but another pulse could happen at any time. Victor had long suspected that whatever had lamed him was related to the creature's strange behavior. Whatever caused them to go mad, it seemed, had also affected him in some way. "The Desolation Orb," those words meant something, but Victor didn't know what, nor did he recognize the name he'd heard in the waking dreams...

Victor shook himself back to reality, and turned to face his saviors. It was a nearly pointless gesture, but he knew people preferred him to face them when they spoke, despite the fact that he could see them no matter which way he was turned. One of the Thousand Eyes rested above his shoulder, though it appeared to be a bit higher than it was, and transferred all it saw to him. The young man covered in books drew no small amount of Victor's attention, but from that display of power, Victor decided he did not care about any eccentricities the youth might have. At the man's statement, Victor gave a noncommital, "Yes, perhaps we could exchange books sometime..."
To his second savior, the woman, Victor was more interested in what she had to say. "No," he said, "Tarenhold is my home, and I will not leave it to these beasts. If they will come, I will lead."
Victor slashed an arm, calling, "Thousand Eyes!" Black spheres began to pop into existence, veering off in different directions as Victor directed them. In moments, they covered the village, each one giving Victor all they saw, and each one highly visible to the attacking creatures. Victor began to run, sending the eyes after himself, and making sure the Kusamara followed. He called behind him, "We must lead them away!" As Victor ran, he breifly considered that he had not yet thanked either of his two benefactors, nor had he even introduced himself. He waved the thoughts away. The village was still in danger; pleasantries could be exchanged later.

The strange lady that came along finished off the creatures that he had imprisoned, so the containment fields simply ceased to be. Her method of attacking differed from his own quite a bit, and the effects seemed to point to an orb user as well. Bet she's a lightning user he thought to himself, remembering the crackling energy that. He felt partially upset that she had destroyed them when they were clearly imprisoned and unable to do any further harm.

The boy's grin faded from his face as he noticed the man's face, a blindfold covering his eyes and a sphere hovering at his shoulder. He said nothing as the man worked, summoning even more of the same orbs, and watched as he began to take off. After a moment, the youth looked at the girl, his grin returning, and he followed after the blind one.

"An Exchange..."

Naiyao was stunned at the boys ignorant behavior. She moved her hands up to her shoulders and stroked her fingertips over the fabric of her brown cloak, sliding the hood back over her head with her dark brown hair bustling beneath it. This village will be decimated by the creature assaults, like mine was. she thought to herself. "The monster attacks will grow and continue, it's inevitable. Luring creatures away will only delay the inevitable.. he should give up his selfishness and help evacuate this village to one of the major defensive positions.." Naiyao soon realizes she is talking only to herself and sighs again. She strokes her right hand down from her neck and to her chest, feeling a light crackling shock, but she does not flinch. Instead.. she seems even more upset now and moves her hand within her cloak behind her waist. This was not far away from where she drew her blades from but instead of grasping a blade. she seemed to touch a sphere. It was the Lightening Orb.. She felt it against her fingertips and she felt sadness. The reason behind this unknown, she simply swept it away, moving her hand back to its prior position. "Hmph.. instead of finding a way to defeat the monsters, we should be thinking about other things.. if he's too stubborn to abandon the village.. maybe, we could move it." she contemplated to herself, thinking if this was possible.

Hitosu made it to Tarenhold he noticed a lot action happening it was darkened and shaken up "This village is another creature mishap he noticed a few Kusamara "Hmph more creatures who wants to play my wicked Russian Roulette well then Bring it" Hitosu pulled out his two guns "Light's Edge" White bullets shot out of the gun they started to explode sequentially one explosion after another making each one more painful. Hitosu then jumped high from they ground "Pit of Despair" Hitosu shot a dark Boulder Bullet onto the ground when it hit the ground it shatter the ground and swallowed the Kusamara the pit closed and thus the end of Hitosu's opponent *Theres more here I have to find Mt Korek and soon* Hitosu went on his motorcycle and continued through Tarenhold.

Each attack Madison did stung but Regelion was used to it so he shrugged the hits off. He smiled at her while she was leaving she was right but he liked when she hit him sometime so that was the reason he did it. He waved bye to the villagers and followed after her through the trees he could always tell where she was. Regelion caught up to her quickly and stopped her from getting away. He hugged her she was the best future wife he could have was all that was flowing through his head. Regelion looked Madison in the eyes with a said love struck expression in his eyes and gave her a kiss on the lips. "I'm sorry i was an ass forgive." Regelion stopped his sentence short when and explosion echoed from their village huge amounts of smoke then started to rise. He quickly turned towards the smoke and was ready to take off towards the village but he first grabbed Madison's hand. "Madison Lets go." In the village The where again being attacked by Kusamara but this time they where being lead by a Learow but it was different from most Learow it had it's own orb a lightning orb at that. Learows where good at fire based attacks mostly but it had a lighting orb and Learows don't usually hang around Kusamara which was odd. The villagers attacked the Kusamara the Learow stood in the back giving orders to the other Kusamara. The Learows eyes where black unlike its standard red the Kusamara moved around in unusual patterns for them the moved like Learows.

Von karma sat at his throne with cane in his hand hovering over his servants that where in the throne room. A look of pure evil shined on his face as he gave off a more evil smirk. Most of his servants hide in the dark not trying to reveal their face to lower level servants. They know they where strong and lived to serve him. "My followers the time has come to rule over this planet and kill all those that oppose me but first we must take out our most annoying and powerful foe and that my followers is The Goddess Makku. She stands in our way and those who side with her we will kill them but Makku is too strong for any of you we must wait till i em at my most strongest to try to attack her for now i want you Speculum to take 15 of the strongest Learow and i want you to scout to see if there is anything out there i need to worry about before attacking Makku. If you find something send the Learow to kill them but don't engage them for now return after wards and report to me got it."

The Scenario
Victor ran, harassing and leading the creatures away with the Thousand Eyes. Each black sphere was capable of a minor darkness attack, enough to anger and occupy the attention of the Kusamara. If Victor was lucky, all of them would end up chasing the Eyes. Sure enough, Victor began to feel the popping of destroyed Eyes, indicating that they were indeed following him. The downside of this plan, of course, was that all their hatred was now focused entirely on him. With an effort of will, Victor displaced the spheres, disguising their true positions while keeping them visible.

When Victor felt he had run far enough, he turned around, facing the creatures. The upside of the plan, of course, was that all of them were now in a tightly packed jumble. With a cry of, "Hit them with everything we've got!" Victor ripped off his blindfold, exposing his darkened eyes to the world. The Thousand Eyes disappeared, leaving Victor blind once again, but his Entropic Gaze fell on the Kusamara and Learows. The corruption and decay spread out across the group, beginning to rot the creatures as he looked at them. It wouldn't last long, but Victor hoped he could get them all. And if those people earlier would help, all the better.

Madison was alone for a moment and she took this time to compose herself, she breathed deeply in then out, she could feel the pull of Von Karma. Madison's animal side wanted to give into his call and destroy but she resisted, she was not a mindless beast like the Kusamara she was Madison of Bosque Durmiente and would never fall under the control of anyone.

Madison heard the steps of Regelion coming closer, she straightened herself and put on her usual serene expression, as her love talked she put the feeling of destruction to the back of her mind, "Of course I forgive you my love, you an idiot but your my idiot," she said with a light giggle. The wolf looked up to were Regelion looked then was dragged away, Learow were leading an attack with an army of Kusamara. "how is this possible, they have never teamed u like this before." she said through her teeth.

Not waiting for a response, Madison charged at the enemy she would not tolerate such an attack on her home, she clawed through the first Kusamara with little effort and made her way to the Learow with the lightning orb and was met with a lightning bolt. Madison quickly tapped into her earth orb and pulled the ground over her to make a shield from the lighting, she kicked the giant piece of earth at the Learow then flicked her fingers and caused the earth to scatter and rain down like bullets at the creatures. Many of the Kusamara were killed in the hail of earth but the Learow dodged around the attack and quickly made its way to Madison sending lightning at the girl. She quickly dodged and met the Learow half way getting in to melee range, she clawed at the Learow as the creature clawed at her. It jumped straight up and Madison followed sending pilers of earth up with her, the Learow spun around and launched several lightning bolts at the wolf but Madison used the pillars to dodged them well she was still airborne. The Learow tried to use the pillars to kick off but Madison closed the earth around Learow's leg and tossed it to the ground causing it to land on its side. Madison ran down the pillar ready to end this fight, she was so focus on the Learow she forgot about the remaining Kusamara. Two of the vine creatures grabbed on to Madison's arms and tried to pin her down but the wolf tapped into the fire orb and set the two Kusamara on fight and flung the burning bodies to the side. A blood curdling growl escaped Madison's throat, she dropped to the ground on to her hands her tail pointed straight down looking more wolf then human now.

Davis stood in the back remaining in the shadows, he was not afraid of Von for the only thing the master could do was kill him and even though Davis was not fearless he did not fear death. As Manfred Von Karma talked Davis began to grin wickedly, the boy didn't care if Von took control over the world nor did he care if it stayed the same, he just wanted to destroy and the best way to do that was to join Manfred Von Karma and besides it was nice not having to think for himself to just let Von Karma's madness consume him, it was freeing. Davis wicked smile turned into an insane one, he could not stand there anymore he had to kill something he and to destroy..."why are you still talking," Davis said not caring whether are not the master heard him, "I need to kill..." he said still smiling.

Speculum looked at the fool that had just spoken. Of course it was Davis. Again. That guy was a pain, unrespectful and straightward. Speculum dearly wanted to take him and give him a lesson that not even a thick skull like Davis wouldn't forget. Speculum turned back to his master with a scowl still clear on his face: "I shall begin as soon as possible. Where should I start?" He couldn't help glaring at Davis to keep him from adressing von Karma unasked again.

Regelion1
Regelion got to the village after Madison manly because she was faster in the trees then him. When he got there he was instantly attacked by 3 kusamara he brought out his weapons and was ready. Regelions water and lightning orbs shined in his weapons normally he would use a fire orb on a kusamara but this combo seemed affective. He threw his weapons in different directions making them boomarang towads each other causing an explosion killing the kusamara. He rushed over to madison worried

Regelion1
Regelion made his way to Madison but approached her carefully she was more animal like. "Madison calm down this is not the you i know and love everythings going to be alright." Regelion didn't like when Madison was like this it mad him think that he would never get her back to normal which scared him more then anything.

Regelion1
Von Karma heard Davis outburst he was lucky he was in a good mood or he would have killed him. "Davis how about you go with speculum if the learow some how get destroyed i give you permission to enguage. Speculum if he gets out of hand stop him and bring him back. It keeps me from having to kill him so head to Tarenhold."

The youth followed in a ungainly stumble, the heavy sack he beared playing teeter-totter with his balance. Still, he managed to keep sight of the blinfolded man and, much more importantly, ahead of the creatures. He opened up the book in his hand, his gait becoming even more erratic as a result, and flipped through the pages rapidly. "No...no...nope," he said, keeping himself upright what could be explained as dumb luck as his fingers traced over words, "n-waiiit...yeah, that should do just fine!"

The boy looked up just in time to see his newfound book buddy turned to face him and removing his blindfold. Briefly, he felt his skin tingle with unnatural power, but he didn't stay in place to see what would happen next, and instead dove to the side, hitting the floor hard with several tomes falling free of his jacket. The fiery sphere hit the dirt and dispersed while the water orb splashed upon the ground, moistening the soil. The smooth boulder at his feet, however, rolled around, tracing his sprawled form on the dirt.

"Owww," he cried out as he sat up, "that hurt!" His eyes grew wide, however, as he saw what was happening to the beasts. They seemed to be rotting away before his very eyes. "Eww," the mage commented as he rose to his feet, "that's gross!" Immediately, however, his demeanor changed as words were uttered from his mouth, forming a heavy energy before him. The fiery orb reformed around his head, and a lick of red-orange flame seemed to spiral aroud his body as he spoke. He then pointed at the decaying beasts with his palm outward, and a gout of a green fire roared out from his hand, a cone of flame that engulfed the mass of creatures. With any luck, it would incinerate anything not rotted away by the other mage...

Speculum slowly rose to his feet, ready to go. With a look of contempt he looked at Davis: "You hear that? I'll keep you on an extraordinarily short leash." He turned around, not waiting for Davis' response. He walked out of the room cape billowing to make sure the lands he had been supposed to force into submission in the last meeting with von Karma was keeping still. The especial villagers of that area were putting up quite a fight but isolated from reinforcements they would succumb eventually.

Madison growled at the Learow as it begun to charge another lightning attack. Madison quickly tapped in to her time orb and used it to hasten herself, she tackled the creature with blinding speed and pinned it down, she ripped out the neck of the Learow with her sharp K-9s.

One of the guards of the village were starring in horror at the beastly slight, she let of a low pitch growl and turn her attention to the man. Suddenly Regelion's voice broke through and snapped Madison back to her old self. The wolf girl stood up over the dead Learow and began to wipe the blood off her face.

"Lady Madison are you alright," the guard asked swallowing his fear.

"Yes I am fine," Madison answered haste fully, she hated when the guards addressed her formally like this. Madison turn to the guard with her usual serene expression which seemed to relax the man a bit. "Have your men search the village and tend to the injured, if you see any hostel creatures report to us, do not engage, me and Regelion well deal with it," she ordered the guard. He simply saluted the girl and made his way to his squad and gave out orders. Madison watched as the guards obeyed and scattered in small groups. Madison was not in any form in charge of the villages defenses but the men seemed to respect her and listen to her commands.

Madison looks to Regelion and gives her lover a warm smile as if to say every thing is alright, the last thing she wanted to do was get him wilded up and start giving her a full body inspection like the last time she felt a little sick. Regelion was annoyingly protective but it was out of love and she knew he only had the best intentions for her. "We should scout the village separately and make sure there are no remaining Learow or Kusamara , I think I may have got them all with the boulder rain but just be sure."

Davis scuffed at the idea of the white haired loser taking him on, he was just a spec compared to him and he would enjoy the day when it came time to cutting the idiot in half and watching as he drowned in a pool of his own blood but for now he would follow and cause destruction else where. Davis spun his scythe around almost ending the lives of several other servants and placed his beautiful weapon on his back and rushed out to catch up to Spec.

Walking impatiently behind Speculum he sighed every ten minutes he was pretty sure he would die of boredom soon. The two finally reached Tarenhold or at least Davis though, he had never been to the place. "Are we here?! Can I start killing now?! Come on please say I can!" the teen question with excitement. Davis tugged on the leather collar on his neck only now noticing how tight it was, he had leather straps all over him as result of the fools in his home town trying to contain him, now they're dead he thought to himself smiling wickedly. Davis made ready his scythe and rested it on his shoulder waiting for Speculum to give him the ok, the teen might not care about Spec and would gladly kill him if the opportunity showed it self but he was still a loyal dog and followed orders.

The Scenario
Victor collapsed slowly, folding up onto his knees as his attack finished. He could only keep it up for a few seconds before his Time orb ran out, but he could still use the Dark orb for a time, though the effect was weaker. With a near exhausted sigh, Victor tied his blindfold back on and listened. He heard nothing but the footsteps of someone covered in books, and began to relax. It would still be a little while before the Thousand Eyes could be called again, but Victor could manage until then. He stood up and turned toward the nearby man, holding out a hand and saying, "Thank you for your asistance. My name is Victor. Victor Maxim." In the back of his mind, Victor knew it still wasn't safe, but for now the attack was over, and that was enough. Perhaps now he could get to know his saviors, and find that girl from earlier to thank her.

Bladewind
Speculum glanced back at Davis with a snear as he saw how the boy tugged at the leather strap: "Do you think we could attach a rope to that? You'd make a wonderful pet if you just kept quiet." Then he turned back around and shook his head: "You moaning about it won't change anything about our travelling speed. I'm not going to waste energy when our master's magic can transport as so fast already." As if to confirm his words they arrived at their destination and Learows looked up from where they rested, waiting for their leader.

With a hand gesture of command Speculum ordered the majestic creatures to show him the way to the village. They bounded off and he followed them without hesitation, knowing that Davis, although arrogant and noisy, could keep up without problems. When they reached the town Speculum roared in fury, the village was nowhere near succumbing to von Karma's will. In fact, all he could spot were dead creatures lying around in the town square. With a growl he ran straight towards the village's main entrance, the Learows and probably Davis, on his heels.

When Speculum reached the entrance, he spotted a young boy slowly making his way through the piles of carcasses, poking at them with a stick. The casual way in which this was done enraged Speculum even more, other than most servants of von Karma he had developed a liking for creatures of Deru's wild: "Slaughter them all!" It didn't matter what his orders were, he was going to get revenge first.

Davis stopped beside Speculum, his smile made him look even more insane. "Thats all you had to say, hehe" he said in a soft voice. The boy tapped into his space orb, "I'll meet you down there ," he mused before teleporting to the side of Chair, he was balancing on the scythe his head rested on his hands and they rested on the end of the stem with his legs wrapped around it, the chine and heel of the scythe cut into the earth helping Davis stay steady, the toe of the blade pointed away from Chair.

"I think I like your style its so homely...in a good way. Too bad I have to kill you, orders are orders after all," Davis said with a gleeful tone his smile still insane. The boy flipped forward and landed on his feet, his tattered black robes whipped with his motion, Davis pulled the scythe with him and the blade came down fast at the boy's head.

The boy grinned at the once again blindfolded man and took the offered hand, shaking it vigorously. "Hi Vic," he said gleefully, "I'm Chair, though sometimes people call me Bench or Stool. I'm not entirely sure why." The boy brought the shaken hand up this chin and looked skyward, lips pursed and brow furrowed as he pondered this thought. He shrugged after a moment and stooped down to pick up his books, placing them back into the many folds of his coat. He had the last book in hand when he saw someone new appear beside him.

"Hello!" Chair said with a grin to the stranger before he could talk. After the scythe wielding man, spoke, Chair's grin faded as his face contorted into a visage of confusion. Then the man attacked. Chair let out a yelp as he stumbled back, dropping the book in his hand. "NO!" he cried out, watching in abject horror as the curved blade sunk deep into the leather bound pages. He whirled around to face the man, tears forming in his eyes, and he grabbed the pole of the scythe in one hand. The orb still circumventing his head flashed brightly, and the boy's hand seemed to glow white-hot, heating the pole of the weapon until it was impossible to be held.

"YOU HURT MY FRIEND!" Chair shouted, the tears streaming down his face...

starryknight
Davis felt the pain from the heat but he held on and sent black lightning through the scythe that traveled to Chair. Davis finally dropped his weapon and jumped back a bit. "Aww I'm so sorry about your book, hopefully we can still be friends," Davis said with real concern. The scythe wielder pointed two fingers to the sky and gathered black lightning to them, Davis spun around bringing his hands to the side of him then shot the lightning out at Chair, the lightning spread out as it got farther from Davis causing it to cone out.

XanatosForever
Chair felts spasms wrack his body as the lightning arced through the heated weapon, into his hand and through his body. He dropped the scythe as his muscles were released from the involuntary contractions, collapsing to the ground as well coughing from the smell of burning paper. My friends! he thought, looking at his coat and seeing the pages blacken before his eyes. He looked up and saw the man drawing lightning to his outstretched fingers. No, I can't lose more of them!

Chair slammed his fists to the ground, and a massive wall of solid rock, two people high to five people long, sprung up between himself and his attacker. He heard the lightning slam into the rock with an eardrum splitting crack of thunder. He quickly slipped off his coat, shoving the entire thing, books and all, into his sack. "I'll have to work off memory now," he said to himself, and he opened both hands, palm up. The fire orb and water orb flew over, hovering above each palm, and the book mage began uttering an incantation, the earth orb at his feet spinning rapidly.

The wall before him seemed to shiver, waving and rippling as if it were paper in the wind. The rock leaked water, becoming a torrent that suddenly bubbled and steamed. Suddenly the wall collapsed into four pillars. The pillars drooped as if collapsing as well, but instead writhed and squirmed, forming humanoid shapes. With water still leaking out and bubling across them, the figures began walking towards Chair's assailant, the bubbling water steaming them constantly, heated gas ready to burn him should he get too close...

The Scenario
Victor leaped to the side to avoid the fighting. Did I really use that much energy? he thought. I should have at least heard them coming... He was getting tired, and this was the worst possible time to be attacked. Still left without his cheat, Victor was forced to rely on his other senses. Even so, lightning was a tough one. He only heard the crackling as it formed in the attacker's hand, and counted himself lucky it wasn't aimed at him, at least if Chair's shouting was any indication.
Victor rolled into a crouch, flipping to the special pages of his book as he did so. He pressed his fingers to the raised dots he'd taught himself to recognize, and smiled. He felt the energy release again, forming a shield in front of himself. It took more out of him than he expected, but he managed to stay upright. With one more exertion, he flung a bolt of force at his attacker, trusting the that the source of the electricity was indeed the enemy. He knew he couldn't keep it up, but there was little choice. Victor was swaying on his feet.

starryknight
Davis noticed the blind man start to move and power up for something he quickly rolled and dodged the attack. He was able to grab is scythe, it was still hot but his gloves would take care of his hands. Still running around the bubble jets, as they were following him he stopped in front of Victor, he turned his head and smiled and sighed a V with his fingers at the blind man, "adios." Davis tapped into his space orb again suddenly vanished and appeared above, he front flipped in mid air and gathered blue lightning around himself and randomly shot around him, darkness covered his blade making it larger and more deadly, Davis dropped down on the boy hoping to catch him by surprise.

Phoenix3068
"grr!" Naiyao appeared once again, though this time she seemed to appear in a flicker, sliding to a stop less then an inch behind Victor. She grasped the blades from behind her waist again and focused the power of the lightening orb which held a place beneath the cloak and against her chest. With the concentrated power given from the orb her blades grew stronger and she pushed against the ground with her feet, leaping directly upward into the air, lifting her left side-blade in a fury. Her blade's edge struck against Davis' attack and sent off a sudden exertion of power as she had tried to fend off the attacker.

Bladewind
The Learows dragged villagers out wherever they hid. Without their best warrior to defend them they were just a couple of fearful idiots not capable to take down a single one of his Learows. How dissappointing. Speculum meandered through the village with contempt, not wasting a single bullet on the wanna-be warriors, instead beating them to the ground with his bare fists. Speaking of... Where the hell was Davis off to? Speculum hadn't seen him since the begin of the attack. A quick growl to his servants confirmed that Davis had in fact charged into the forest. Apparently the champions of the village had run into it for some reason.

Speculum took two of the Learows with him into the forest in search of Davis. Even though he could already hear the sound of battle Speculum didn't hurry to Davis' side. That hotheaded fool would probably be pretty angry at Speculum interfering in "his" fight and Speculum wasn't very eager to aid him anyway.

starryknight
Blades struck Davis's lightning charged scythe the current would travel into the womans blades but he was also knocked back. Davis rolled to a stop by at Speculum's feet, "Yo...whats up? you get bored fighting weak villagers?" he asked looking up at the gunslinger with a smile.

Davis got up and dusted himself off and picked his scythe up, "Just let the Learow kill the villagers, this is were the parties at." Davis didn't mind sharing in the fun as long as everyone was having a good time.

Bladewind
Speculum grinned, Davis wasn't that bad at all: "Boring is no word to describe what I felt over there." Then, still grinning, he pulled out his two revolvers. They shone brightly as light hit them. Speculum's grin became a bit wider at the sight of what he considered true beauty. He looked up, eyeing the opponents. They were definetly stronger than the villagers but that wasn't especially hard. Leveling his revolvers he nodded to Davis: "Then let the party begin. I hope you don't mind that I've invited some friends." The Learows roared and the trees seemed to shake from the sound but that wasn't exactly true. The ground rippled as several of the roots climbed out of the earth.

Phoenix3068
Naiyao slid backward away from the two of them after having collided her attack with Davis. She lightly coughs coughs from the shock, not from the lightening, but the immense power. A powerful fighter was standing in front of her and now rather than using pure strength, she would need tactic just to survive. Perfect.. she thought to herself. She takes notice of both enemies in front of her, nearly forgetting about the two allies that she has. She brings both her hands in front of her face and holds her blades at a cross, forming an x, preparing her reflexes for a rough movement. "You better be ready, I'm not letting you leave here without a scratch.."

With the new creatures appearing, Naiyao stands a bit shocked. There are more? She was already determined to strike.. her body let out a light flickering notion, seeming to have disappeared for less then just a mili-second. Though her body still seems to stand there in the same position... does she not plan to move? She waits for either Davis or Speculum to make a move..

The Scenario
Victor listened with horror at what the new voice was saying. If that was true, Tarenhold was once again under attack. Cursing his own stupidity, Victor fumbled with spellbook again, and slammed a hand into his chest. It was simple restoration spell, designed to eliminate fatigue and heal minor wounds. Of course, it couldn't restore the power he'd expected already, nor could it help his Orbs recover. Of course, the Orbs did that themselves, and without his magic it was all Victor had to rely on.
With a shout, Victor rolled to the side, barely avoiding the root that erupted from the ground. "Time to see," Victor murmured, "how well everyone else likes fighting blind." With that, Victor simply disappeared, using the Illusion Orb to become invisible. He listened closely, picking out the nearest opponent as he crept along. The one near the Learows would have to do. Victor heard the clicks of the guns, and no footsteps indicating movement: the gunman had remained where he was. Victor got closer, hoping that a ranged fighter would be disadvantaged in melee, as he focused the power of the Dark Orb in his hand and moved to grab the man, channeling the cold power into him.

Chair's attention was stretched, his forehead slick with perspiration as he concentrated on maneuvering his constructs. The four steaming rock warriors attempted to surround the scythe wielder, but he managed to get past them as he dodged an attack from Victor. Relentless, the constructs turned towards the man, only for him to vanish. Chair looked all around, searching for his assailant. He has to be here somewhere! he thought to himself, eyes darting left and right in a frantic search.

The sound of blade metal scraping against metal above him caused Chair to look up, just in time to see that his attacker had clashed with the woman who had appeared in the village. He watched as a burst of lightning arced between them and they seperated, the girl landing off at a distance and the man landing beside someone else who had just appeared. The boy felt a pit form in his stomach as he saw two more Learows standing at either side of the new stranger. There are more of them? thought to himself. He was so distracted by this new development that he was unable to avoid the Learows' assault, feeling his breath escape from him violently as the root slammed into his diaphragm.

He was knocked back five feet and crumpled to the ground, the fire and water orbs dissipating before hitting the ground and the earth orb rolling away from him. The boy clutched his chest as he gasped for air, more tears welling up, this time a result of the pain. With his concentration broken, the constructs became nothing more than inert statues, silent, stony witnesses to what was to occur. Chair bit his lip, forcing his mind to focus through the pain. When he had managed to suck enough air into his lungs, he uttered an incantation. Almost immediately he felt some of the pain subside. Have to get up, he thought, I have to help...

Without wasting a moment Naiyao had already sprung into action though as a light armored fighter she moved quickly. Her body only seemed to flicker and stand in place when in actuality she was moving too fast to have noticed. She stepped to action with both her blades clenched tightly with her hands around the grips. With a fury she slashed once, cutting through a Learow.. it's body did not move yet and no cut would be shown. Before time wasted she moved again and cut through the other, both would feel the effect soon. With this she set her sights on the two powerful opponents. She might not be stronger, but if she's faster, she could take them out without much of a struggle.. she rushed furiously, stepping toward Davis to finish him off before a new attack could start again, but she noticed something. Chair was injured by the vines unleashed by Speculum! This would be a perfect chance for attack, but it wasn't worth it.. Naiyao jerks back on her bodies movement, causing her to slow down immensely and she leaps back, moving across the ground in another slide, leaving a long trail of dust in front of her body with her hand quickly grasping the earth orb. Her body comes to a stop next to Chair. "Are you okay?" she ignores the two opponents now and places her hands on Chair to help him back up.

Speculum gasped as the apparently blind mage dissappeared. Orbs? In their hands? That explained it all. The Learows had already leapt forward to engage and even the rather brainless Kusamaras decided to attack the group, not realising that one of them had not died but rather become invisible. Speaking of... Where was that fool? The question answered itself when he felt somebody grab him from behind, spreading cold out in his body. Another orb? Speculum didn't know and didn't care. Instead of jumping away from his attacker he spread a time bubble around himself, encasing him and Victor in it.

Speculum grinned. Many had thought that he was less deadly in melee and payed for it. He had the upper hand now, the enemy was slowed down by the orb while Speculum moved at his usual speed which was above average anyway. With a quick turn he brought one of his revolvers around, using the knowlege that his enemy was behind him somewhere and because of the time bubble, didn't have time to move. Speculum smiled thinly as he was rewarded with a wonderful sound that spoke of pain.

Hitosu Moriko
Hitosu saw a raging Battle between two people in a bubble *Another gunner he's hurting him I have to help him guns are not meant to hurt the innocent*. Hitosu went underneath the bubble *I have to puncture through somehow hmm I GOT IT!!!*. Hitosu tossed one of his pistol's in the air it started shooting the bubble with light bullets and he shot the other one shoot dark bullets it surrounded the bubble with a flurry of bullets looking like an apocalyptic war."Heaven V.S Hell" *This is a perfect I'll scar that bubble from the outside this guy better notice this and take care of the inside*.

Bladewind
Speculum quickly took note of the bullets striking the bubble. Without hesitation he grabbed where he suspected his enemies neck, missing several times but finally grasping it. He thought he could hear the blind mage groan in pain but he didn't pay much attention to that: "You ready for taking some punishment? Because it sure seems as if your going to get some!" Speculum let the time bubble collaps and got up, holding the blind mage in front of himself. Speculum grinned, he had never heard of someone using an invisible meatshield so this was a first. Although he had just halfed his firepower the look on the face of his opponent when he struck the body of his ally would make up for it. Speculum grinned at the image of it and fired at Hitosu.

Phoenix3068
Naiyao held her left arm over Chair, trying to help and pull him up. "Come on kid, get up.." She repeated, but quickly she took her eyes toward Speculum. These two were going to pay for what they did. Naiyao held her right hand out with the blade pointed back more, her index finger and middle finger were off the blade and held forward while her ring finger and pinky finger were wrapped around the blades grip still. Lightening molecules began to gather at a rapid pace from the stored energy she had prepared to strike Davis with, targeting Speculum from behind. She released the molecules with a swift speed. Due to the molecules moving literally at the speed of light the strike would hit immediately after being released with no time to truly get out of the way, leaving a large burning scar across Speculum's back that would also send 10,000 volts of electricity through every vain in his body.

Bladewind
Speculum roared in pain as Naiyao struck him. The agony was unimaginable and he fell to his knees. His whole body was burning and he had problems breathing. How in the world had these powerful warriors escaped notice for so long? Speculum grunted and started to get up again. "You aren't getting rid of me so easily!" But he was seriously wounded... Speculum was not enough of a fool to believe he stood a chance against these orb users. In a fair fight that was, however he wasn't going to play clean anymore. No longer would he suffer this insolence! Speculum leapt backwards into the thick of the wood.

The kusamaras closest to him retreated too as he hid between bushes and trees. But despite his serious injury Speculum grinned. If that girl wanted to play it dirty he was game. With a slight rustling he moved through the green wall surrounding the scene of the fight. His silver revolvers suddenly came back into sight right behind Naiyao. Speculum smiled the smile of the predator that had found suitable prey. Taking in the beauty of the woman's exposed back for a moment Speculum's smile grew wider and he pulled the triggers until there were no more bullets before retreating back into hiding.

The Scenario
Victor hit the ground hard, holding his neck and trying to breath silently to avoid exposing his position. The Gunner was skilled, but not many people could ignore lightning. I have to recover my magic, Victor thought, or I'll just be a sitting duck. It seemed the Gunner had gone elsewhere. Victor couldn't hear his steps, but the other one was still there. And there was even a new player, and from the shots he seemed to be another Gunner. Orb users, all of us. And with that thought, Victor sprang into action. He only hoped he could use his power again so soon.
One of the Thousand Eyes popped back into existence, and the world exploded into clarity even as Victor returned to visibiliy. Victor saw everything around himself: Chair on the ground, his golems standing still. One of the attackers, holding an electrified scythe. The new Gunner with his weapons. When Victor saw the girl that saved him earlier, he also saw the first Gunner, raising a weapon behind her. Victor drew on his orbs. Time slowed. There wasn't much time to act, but Victor didn't care. They're after my village. He cried out, drawing on the Dark Orb. But this time, he did it a little differently, using its power to fuel his magic. A black sheild appeared between the gunman and the girl that had saved Victor before. At the same time, Victor whirled around and fired off several blasts of dark force at the scythe weilder. As time returned to normal, Victor smiled grimly. "I'm back."

Davis was resting a bit letting Spec have some fun suddenly he was blasted with darkness that sent him back into a tree, he lip dripped with blood...he put a had to it and saw the scarlet liquid. "Blood...what...whats going on?" he looked around as if he was just waking up from a nap. "Oh yeah I remember now, I guess play time is over." Davis clapped his hands together and slowly separated them, dark energy began to gather he formed it into an orb, lightning joined as it circled around. Davis was done and he through the orb at his enemy and seemed to stop above them and hang there for a few seconds...the scythe user shot his open palm toward the orb its space begun to expand until it exploded, the blast was so powerful it caused the ground to shake.

Phoenix3068
Naiyao noticed her savior having formed a shield behind her, protecting her from being damaged by the bullets being fired by Speculum. She wasted no time, her eyes moved fast. She caught a glimpse of Davis as he.. threw the orb!? This is not good, she knew it. Naiyao quickly pulled Chair closer to her so that she could pick him up with her, then she pushed from her feet into a quick sprint, moving quickly to Victor. However, she did not stop but instead thrusted with her right hand and palm exposed, she grasped his hand and let her body loosen a bit, but held both of them firmly, one in her arm and one by the hand then with time seeming to slow for a moment, she noticed the orb begin to erupt. Again she would have to pass up the chance to strike but this matter was more important. She let her feet carry her and pull the other two with her away from the explosion quickly and back to the village's center which had been highly damaged from the battle.

"There's no time!" Naiyao hollered at Victor. "You have to grab only what you can carry and we have to leave here.. NOW!" "They know that we are here and will stop at nothing to kill us. If we leave, this village might be able to recover even if there's only a single child but if we stay EVERYONE dies..! You can't defend this village forever!" Naiyao urged, her eyes seemed to shake as if she was filled with pain.. rather it was Physical pain or Emotional pain, could not be said. "Didn't you hear me I said let's go. There will be more, they will be stronger."

Bladewind
Speculum grimaced as he saw how the shield formed around Naiyao. That blind b*stard had cheated him out of his prey. But he didn't have time to fire again. Davis fired a dark orb that exploded, shaking the ground. When Speculum saw everything clearly again the group was gone and with it his prey. Using his orb to speed up his movement, he shot towards the village. No prey had ever slipped his hands and he wasn't about to let this hunt be his first fail. When he reached the village he could see that the Learows had been busy in his absence, the ground was littered with bodies missing chunks where a learow had decided to take a quick snack. Speculum let a smile cross his face but he didn't have time for that.

"Find them! Find the orb users and kill them! But let the girl live! She's mine!" Speculum and the Learows quickly scoured through the village and found what they were looking for. Speculum grinned again: "Hunting isn't fun when the prey isn't fleeing, so stop ruining things and start running!" As if under an order, the Learows parted for the group to escape through. "RUN! FLEE!" Speculum started laughing, this hunt wasn't a failure. In fact it was the beginning of the perhaps greatest hunt he had ever participated in. It was exhilarating.

Phoenix3068
Naiyao allowed a sigh to flee from her lips, then she moved down to one knee and lightly placed Chair on the ground, then allowing her hand to slip from Victors. She turned her head slightly, letting one eye catch a glimpse then turned fully around. Her cloak masked most of her body only to reveal her face which looked lightly scratched from battle and her hair which rested over her eyes. She looks toward Speculum and allows her gaze to remain unbroken even through the hoard of Learow. "Victor, take Chair and get out of here.. We don't have time to mess around, this guy will kill you.. there's nothing left here.." with that she stops talking, and begins to walk forward only a few feet. She stops completely with her feet spread less then a foot away from the other. Now.. she grasped her dual swords from behind her waist once more and quickly ripped them forward, revealing a silver like wind of fury that seemed to have been illuminated from their unsheathing. The speed at which she seemed to have done this with was unimaginable, though she may not have quite so much strength. As she had summoned her blades forth to battle.. the Learow that stood near by suddenly ripped apart and their remains laid torn across the ground.

In truth this was not from the unleashing, yet in only that slight second that it had seemed she merely pulled her blades loose, she stepped swiftly, so fast that she had cut through each Learow one at a time and stepped directly back where her foot prints had remained, which leaves dust trailing around her body afterward.

"I'll hold him off, even if i can't beat him. I'll catch up with you guys later." She says with a confident tone and glares toward Spec. She moves her blades across her chest and seems to make a sign with them at which one blade is held down with a left yield and the other up with a rightward yield. This seemed to form a seal by using the blades shape along with her arms. "Lets see just what someone like you can do."

The Scenario
Victor stayed still while his Eye surveyed the damage. Bodies everywhere, and Learow stalking around. There really was nothing left. Had they been capable of it, Victor's normal eyes would have been filled with tears. He shook his head in a futile gesture, letting his Eye take it all in. He looked upon Chair, still seemingly unconscious, and stood up. He quickly collected the boys books, then lifted the boy himself on his shoulder. It was simple enough: his earlier restoration spell was still in effect, preventing and healing fatigue. Victor sighed. If he hadn't wasted his power on the weaklings, he might've done a better job. As it was, there was nothing he could do. Even the Dark Orb was failing, unable to fuel his spells for much longer. "I'll just have to force it, then," Victor mumbled under his breath. Darkness was the worst possible thing to use for something like this, but he had to do something. Victor turned back, drawing upon his last reserves, and granted that girl, he'd never even gotten her name, a bit of power. Strength, durability, speed, a little bit going as long it could as Victor's book glowed black. Victor felt as if he was condemning her to death. Even so, he ran, hefting Chair as he did so. If at least one life can be saved... Victor's thought trailed off.

Bladewind
"I knew that you'd be a suitable prey!" Speculum smiled at Naiyao's battlestance, "But do you really think that your speed will help you against one who wields the orb of time? Ha! How foolish!" The Learows stared after the running Victor with a hunger that wouldn't be sated until they had devoured everybody who opposed von Karma. Speculum let out a low howl and the pride dissappeared between the red coloured houses to feed. Then Speculum turned his attention back to his opponent which was, as he know noticed a young girl: "Might I know the name of my prey?" His cape flowed in slight wind as he drew his twin revolvers, gleaming in the evening sun. They were loaded already and he leveled them: "I am Speculum, loyal servant of von Karma. You will probably know me by the name of Feral Hunter."

Feral Hunter. The nickname had been given to him because of his fascination for the wild creatures of Deru and his fanatical approach to hunting. A name that had been used by mothers to scare their children out of leaving the village. Most villagers believed that he was the revenge of the nature on humanity for letting all of this happen. Speculum had always smiled at the exclamations of villagers when he stood in front of them, wild animals surrounding him. Most of them had died believing that they had been killed by nature's revenge and not by von Karma's greed power.

In the nick of time Hitosu shot a boulder bullet to take less damage from Speculum's bullets *He doesn't understand that gunners can take there fair share of bullets* Hitosu jumped up and shot boulder bullets down at Speculum. Hitosu shot them down to Trap Speculum so he surrounded the shots close enough to trap him *If I keep this up I can finish him easily*

Davis walked back to the village slowly with his scythe resting on his shoulder, he was in no rush although he didn't kill anyone he was still happy with a good fight. The boy noticed as they fought Speculum became more like himself, Davis laughed at how reckless Spec could be. "And they call me the insane one geez," he said to himself with a smile. He finally reached his parter when he saw the other gunner taking a cheap shot at Speculum. Davis out stretched his and a black barrier was formed, using his space orb Davis was able to teleport the bullets back at the shooter as soon as they hit the black shield. "Hey! Don't you know its rude to interrupt a one on one show down to the death HUH?!" he screamed at the unknown shooter as the bullets shot back.

Hitosu Moriko
Hitosu blocked off the bullets with another boulder bullets "And hey don't you think its rude attacking someones village and there inhabitants maybe he wanted a peaceful day but no he got you guys your no better than the bird brains that attack my village, but I must admit I don't make myself to be a savior of this village at all, Just a regular guy passing through. It makes me sick seeing someone attack a whole village and to use such foul creatures, Yeah that's not wrong at all." Hitosu said his last remark sarcastically Hitosu Positioned his guns ready for what the space manipulator was going to do next. *This guy has some nerve everyone is strong in there way, no one deserves to die in a fight except if they fight for Hell and only hell*. Hitosu put new shells in his gun although they were oddly shaped *Hmph he can transport one thing to another zone but he doesn't know how fast I am time to take advantage of him*

Davis smiled and let the new guy talk he, he didn't really care what he was saying but he needed some time for his Space orb to power back up. He never used his orbs to the limit thinking it was just stupid to do so, he only just scratched the tip of his abilities. While Hitosu was talking to himself Davis charged the air around him with black electricity, "Never said I wasn't rude dumb dumb!" Davis charged his scythe with black electricity and through it, the weapon disappear and reappeared rapidly spinning toward Hitosu.

Naiyao said nothing, she allowed her body to regain a bit of stamina. He was confident.. a bit too confident, she didn't like it. Naiyao slid her left blade back beneath her cloak and moved her hand back to her front. She reached up to her chest and grasped the Lightening Orb, wrapping her fingers around it.. an electric tint sparked through her hand. She pulled the orb from her cloak and held it in her palm. "My name is Naiyao, but don't worry remembering it.." she whispered lightly. "As far as my speed goes.. I don't have to worry about your little orb. Time itself has never quite caught up to me.." Naiyao stiffens a bit, then brings the right side of her body back a bit, gripping the hilt of her blade. She tossed the lightening orb only a few inches up in front of her, then with a swift speed and strength, she would swing her blade across to the orb, slashing it! This was an odd development, why she would attack her own orb. Though it didn't seem to damage the orb, it instead seemed to let off a crackling sound. Time would slow down almost to having stopped. Time would pick up again, as from the orb would echo an incredible power. Naiyao had instead used the energy from the orb itself to release a very high level attack that spread through the village, obliterating the Learow in view of the burning light. This power spread even to the others still within the village. It dealt a massive blow of damage to all of them; Davis and Speculum, but seemed to by pass Hitosu. The damage it dealt was not fatal, but would seem to have had a lasting effect, sending electric currents through their bodies. After the light from the bright attack would clear it would reveal Naiyao standing in the same place, smoke coming from her blade. Her body would not move though.. she had been paralyzed by the electric currents through the air. A suicidal attack but it would for sure be enough to send both of Von Karma's servants into a devastating state and would make it impossible for them to catch the two escaping allies. "D.. Damn.."

Bladewind
Speculum smiled as he got up again, the shockwave having thrown him back a few feet: "Naiyao? What a wonderful name. You really are powerful but may I remind you that sending shock after shock-" He was interrupted by a violent twitch as his body lost control for a short time, "-only makes me more resistent. This slight paralyzation won't hinder me from killing you seeing that you don't seem to be able to move." Slowed by the paralyzation he walked up to her,the electricity making his body shudder from time to time. As Speculum came closer to Naiyao he couldn't help noticing the high static in the air, making the still fresh scar on his back burn. He winced but didn't stop smiling: "I could kill you on the spot! But what a waste that would be." Speculum took another step forward, he was now right in front of her and he breathed in her scent, it wasn't because he could track her down on all distances now but rather because he knew how much fear it usually it inspired in his prey.

"Naiyao you say? I think I'll remember that name well." He now grinned daemonically: "In fact, all other names are meaningless now. Only the prey matters!" Speculum shut his eyes for a moment as once again his scar burned itself back into his memory. Then he looked own at Naiyao's right arm: "*cough* Since you've marked me I think it's only fair that I leave my own on you." With that he raised her hand to his mouth, biting into it. But as he let the arm fall back to Naiyao's side there wasn't any bite mark. Instead, there was a crimson symbol forming on the back of her hand. "Remember! You are my prey! Don't let anybody else kill you!" Grinning, he dissappeared between the houses.

Phoenix3068
Naiyao's body had shivered from Speculum's approach. She still could not move... Damn it! He felt his teeth dig into her hand and she screamed loudly, her shrilling shriek could be heard in the far distance. As Speculum disappeared, her body had finally released from paralysis. She stumbled back; full of dread now. The wind seemed to pick up and would wrap around her body, spreading her cloak widely. Her body vanishes into the wind.. leaving not even a trace of energy.

A giant wave of light flew past the hero's blocking the attacks being done to them. The wave pushed Davis attack to the side and then started pushing both of Von Karmas servants backwards out of the forest past the village of Tarenhold. While it pushed Davis and speculum backwards all the creatures in the area with them started to die. After the wave of light stopped pushing them away from the village it formed a protective dome around Tarenhold not allowing any of Von Karmas servants to enter. Inside the dome the buildings started to rebuild themselves the injured started to heal and a few of the dead started to come back to life as if they where never killed.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mean while

Regelion started to walk around the village he felt a slight rumble from the ground then the rumble got louder and louder. A group of People from the village rushed towards Regelion and Madison in a panic. "Sir Madam there is a problem a fifty Kusamara and fifty Learow are on a stamped towards the village. "What are you serious is it possible to actually take on that many Kusamara and Learow at once .. okay take your strongest men and head to the front of the village as quick as possible we are going to fight it out as long as we can. But not everyone will survive this but we will save this village." Regelion Grabbed Madison and head towards the front of the village ready to attack the creatures. The Creatures rushed towards the village closer and closer. All of a sudden a wave of light flew past the village towards the creatures and in an instant they where all dead. In front of Regelion and Madison stood a dome of light around their village and on the other side laid the dead bodies of the creatures. Inside the vllage the injured began to heal and the buildings and eveything damage began fixing itself.

Von Karma was furious he could feel the creatures under his control disappear in huge numbers and he knew who was the only one who could do such a thing in an instant. The rage he felt flowed through his throne room everyone could feel his anger. Von Karma banged his cane on the floor sending off a wave of darkness to tell Speculum and Davis to get back now.

Above Naiyao, Chair, Hitosu, Victor, Regelion and Madisons head appeared the face of Goddess Makku who had only revealed herself to the world of Deru once. "My children I have used my power to destroy the creatures that have tried to kill you i have healed your village and people as much as i could but I now need your help. I can keep the creatures of Deru Von Karmas servants away from your homes but soon Von Karma he will be able to over power me i need you to venture off and stop him before that time comes. I have watched you for a while and you seem like the best chooses. Will you help me."

Regelion didn't need to think about it if it meant saving him and Madisons village then he was ready to anything. He was ready to say yes to Makkus question but he wanted to make sure Madison was ready for it. He wouldn't get her into something this big without asking her so he looked at her waiting to see if she really was up for it.

Naiyao stood just upon the peak of a mountain alone. The land was clear for miles with not a soul in sight. It was quiet.. Naiyao had used one hand to secure a clothe down over her hand then wrapped the bandages fully along her arm. Her left arm (at which was the crimson seal at her hand) was fully wrapped in bandages. She remained silent at this and simply moved her full arm beneath her cloak again, turning toward the higher point of the peak and walking to the very tip. Once she reached the tip, she let a light wind escape her lips.. a sigh. She had succeeded in defending the village fighters, but failed in destroying the threat. Not only that, but a new hunter had marked her. Great.. she thought with a sarcastic tone in her own mind. "Those guys better get to safety" she whispers to herself. "If they don't, then that was just a pointless fight on my part."

Naiyao notices the skies and the face of a goddess that appears. Her face grows cold and angry, she glares at the so called 'holy figure'. "Tch.. you call yourself a goddess.." she says as if she were to actually talk to Makku, though her words would not be tended to. "My village was destroyed, not even a branch of the wood to bring it back.. then you go so far as to take credit for destroying the creatures that we were killing ourselves to destroy.." Naiyao stands and turns her back to the goddess, walking down from the peak of the mountain, heading for a city that lies in the distance. "No thanks.. I believe in fighting my own battles." Naiyao seems to speak out of a long hatred. She scorns the goddess for her words. "Von Karma's fate is not up to you. I believe he will fall.. But he will fall because that is the will of the people, not of a goddess.." She disappears now from the mountain, seeming to move at a high speed, moving toward the unknown shining city in the distance from the mountain peak.

Bladewind
Speculum felt the masters call once more as he was pushed away by the barrier. But he ignored the summon, instead he just kept his eyes locked onto Naiyao's figure dissappearing as he flew backwards. What a magnificent hunt that was waiting for him. He could already feel the ecstacy of hunting such beautiful prey flowing though him. Naiyao. You'll be mine. No prey has ever escaped me! He smiled at the prospect of following the seal on her hand all over Deru. Speculum didn't even stop thinking about the hunt when he landed on the ground and his scar opened again a bit. Venatura. The ultimate hunt. The perfect balance between prey and predator. It was the dream of every Tempestas villager. Naiyao needed a bit more training but he knew that she was his prey.

With a sigh he let von Karma's summons return him to the dark halls.

Phoenix3068
Naiyao was only slightly injured but the bite into her hand had left her wounded bad enough for her to desire aid. She continued to move toward the city far off in the distance.. a bright city. It was forged blunt buildings created from teak wood and sitting over the water. She soon reaches the city gates to see something should would not have expected.. soldiers. Armed with red clothe and silver steel platings over sections of them. The city might have stood beautiful, but it was in a rough decline. The soldiers there were not friendly despite their kind becoming.. Naiyao stood on guard.
She continued to walk, moving into the city promptly known as "Kadavar" and looked around her. "This place has changed.." she whispers to herself.

"Hey!" calls out a strange yet authoritative voice. "I SAID HEY!" a soldier came into view, he scowled as if demanding her attention. Naiyao pays him no attention and continues to walk, only to be stopped by the soldiers gauntlet gripping down on her shoulder. She growled and quickly turned toward him.

"Don't touch me Steel Canned Pig!" She scowls in anger with her pride over coming her. The soldier twisted her body around and wrapped his arm around her neck tightly, cutting off her oxygen. Although she pulls back at him, trying to get loose, her efforts seem useless. She begins to cough, moving her hands up to his arm, gripping tightly and trying to pull his arm away. "Grr... L... Lightening R-Roller..!" She seemed to gasp and call out, her orb shines with the soldiers body being engulfed by electric currents and her body goes into an automatic twist, sending the soldier flipping over her body and onto his back. Her body sends out short electric currents.

"H-Help!" calls out the soldier. He tries to pull himself up, several soldiers dressed in the same armor quickly rush toward Naiyao.

"Damn.." she steps back, the soldiers approaching. "I can't use my weapons against unarmed targets.." Naiyao steps back a bit and prepares herself for a fist fight. One of the soldiers reach first, taking a right jab toward Naiyao's upper body, she ducks quickly and pulls the soldiers arm over her, thrusting her forehead into the soldiers chest and sending him stumbling back. As another soldier comes from behind her, she steps to the right, swinging her elbow back into the anonymous soldiers gut. Naiyao keeps the advantage, until all five soldiers circle around her. One thrusts his hands out to grab her, she side steps it but another soldier wraps his arms around her, keeping her arms held in position-- before her reaction can be made another soldier steps forward and jabs her hard into the gut, knocking her unconscious. "da... damn.. it.."

<Later>

Naiyao soon finds herself waking up in a small room, on the floor over a clothe with a blanket wrapped over her. Her cloak is gone as well as most of her clothes though she is bandaged well to hide everything. "Where.. am I..?" She smiles a bit, recognizing the familiarity.

Phoenix3068
<continued>

Naiyao seems to wake up inside of a room, familiar to her. She sits up from the ground with the blanket falling down to her waist-line. Her clothes are gone she has bandages around her chest and her right arm to cover the injuries.

A boy walks into the room and smiles at her, then nods. Naiyao acknowledges this with her own responding nod. They say no words but their communication has been established and they understand each other. Soon Naiyao was right back up to fighting condition.. though her right arm was still branded with the mark left behind by Speculum. She pulls her black long sleeve shirt on over her body, then the red shirt just above it, fixing her goggles just above her forehead to make it easy to slide down over her eyes. She grabs her dual swords from the table and slides them back into the holding section behind her waist, pulling her cloak back over her body and onto her. "Thank you for the help.." whispers Naiyao. The boy nods again, but no words come out.

As Naiyao makes her way out of the building, she see's once again the city. She turns back to the boy and seems to question him.. he does not respond with words, but rather with a movement of his hands. She understands everything that he says.

translation
"The city of Kadavar. It was taken over by an corrupt man. This man answers to someone higher. Kadavar is enslaved by the man. This man calls himself 'Raggo'. He is a powerful man both in body and money."

Naiyao nods and speaks back. "I will liberate this city" she gives her promise and turns, looking back through the city. She walks away from the building and moves through the city. She spends time among the people and talks to them. Interesting.. she notices key events. She see's two soldiers beating a woman who could not pay the taxes. A man and a soldier exchange a letter. These events suspicious to a certain extent.
Naiyao has the information now that she needs.. she makes her way for the tower standing tall over the city. A "Town Meeting" is to take place in a few minutes. Many of the city residents make their way to the tower to hear the words of the man who goes by the name of Raggo. She sneaks past the soldiers that stand at the wall. She pulls her hood down, looking up at the tower. People of all sorts stand in the crowd, she moves past the citizens. She seems to slide through each, approaching until she is in the closer section of the crowd.

After some time, two soldiers approach the side of the tower, from behind them approaches a man in a blue jacket. He has a long goatee and mustache with thick, long, black hair. He looks down at the citizens, a sinister look in his eyes. "HELLO PEOPLE OF MY CITY!" the man yells out.
"something's not right.." Naiyao whispers to herself. She's seen tyrants before, but this one was definitely different. He had a power about him.

"Citizen's of Kadavar, as you know we have had a long lasting problem with Thievery and Violence in this city! I will not allow this to continue, I will protect you my people! To do so, I will be imposing higher taxes to pay for better security. Those who cannot pay will be suspected of crimes against Kadavar and will be put to death! Look now my children, at the face of your traitors!"

A large clothe seems to flee from the tower, revealing ropes that hold around the necks of several people. They appear in scruffy clothing, they are clearly poor.. beggars even perhaps... The bastard. The people are beaten, their clothes are stained in blood. It has to be stopped. As the end of the meeting comes, Naiyao has seen enough.. She is unwilling to let these events last any longer. She makes her way toward the tower, sliding through the crowd. She approaches the tower guards in front of the door.
"Halt, you may not--" the guard cannot finish his sentence, both of them have Naiyao's blades rushed through their necks. She quickly rushes through the open door, moving through the inside of the tower. She brings her blades up with both arms and fights.. she slashes through each soldier that stands in her path, taking another step up the stairs, moving faster. Her body seems to be troubled still but she does not acknowledge this feeling. She cuts through all things in her path and reaches the door to the top of the tower.. where the man accused awaits. She rushes to the door but is quickly cut off by another soldier who closes the secure door, making it impossible to continue. Naiyao is not willing to call it quits.. she looks around and notices the window at which she sees a body hanging.. Of course! She does not know if this will work, but to give her life for a just cause seems noble enough. She quickly rushes at the window and plants her foot at the edge, pushing herself from it toward the rope, grabbing onto the body then quickly pushing off into an upward rush, climbing the rope. She reaches the top and flips her body back over the ledge to where the accused tyrant stands.
Without a word, Raggo begins to clap. "Hehehehe, Good Job if I do say so myself."
"Shut it.." Naiyao says lightly. The soldiers quickly rush at her, but she ducks beneath one, flipping him over her shoulder and from the tower. His body falls from the peak toward the ground far below. Naiyao steps toward the second soldier as he rushes her, pressing her hand against his chest and pushing him back to the wall, then taking her blade forward, she leaps toward his body as it hits the wall, her blade runs through his chest. She releases her blade from her hand and steps back, letting the soldier die at it, then rips it from his chest. "You're all that's left".
Raggo continues to smile. Naiyao turns and begins to walk toward him.. this is where it will end. Naiyao spins her blade in her hand, preparing to make another strike. Without hesitation now she stabs it from above, through the mans head. Blood seems to flow down from his head as he appears in shock. "Ha.. haha! AHAHAHA!!!"
"What the.." Naiyao stares at him in surprise. "He's laughing!? He should be dead, how is he.." the image of Raggo fades and from above the tower's peak stands Raggo. "An illusion!? How is that possible!" The man shows his cane to hold an orb... the Orb of Illusions.
"If you'll excuse me.." Laughs and bows Raggo, "Master Von Karma will want to hear of your 'Liberation' of his city."

Naiyao falls to her knees, staring up at where the man had stood. Raggo is with Von Karma, he has an Orb.. The situation was escalated severely. But this was not time to worry. Kadavar was free of Raggo because of this event and it is liberated. Cleaning up is all that remains.. still.. questions wonder through her mind.

Davis is swept off his feet and thrown out of the city he landed on his butt and watched as all their work destroying was reset. "Damn, Karma isn't going to be happy about this, " the boy said laying on his back laughing. The whole day was a waste the goddess was still in control and Karma could not defeat her. "Maybe I'm on the wrong side here," Davis raises his left hand up in front of his face to see the blood that no one else could see it dripped on to his cheek and mixed with a tear and continued down his face. The dark servant quickly wiped the tears away, "This is why I'm that mans side...so I can just slip into my madness and let him do the thinking," Davis whispered shaking his head and taking on a smile. He heard his masters call and the boy quickly answered to him, using the space orb, he teleported in front of Von Karma he was kneeling to the man with his head bowed and his scythe to on the ground in front of him. "Sorry sir, the goddess stepped in and the mission was a complete failure." he said sounding more submissive then before.

-----------------------------------

Madison watched as all the creatures died she felt pity for them, they had been brought to insanity and forced to work for Von Karma. She had killed her fair share of the creatures but still seeing them being wiped out by the goddess almost brought her to tears, were they really unable to be saved even by a the goddess. Madison took a moment to compose herself and looked to her partner he seemed to be thrilled by the goddess' power and on board for her quest. The woman looked up at the goddess before bowing and placing her right fist over her heart, "Thank you for saving and fortifying our village and I would be honored to help you so long as Regelion wants to, he is my other half and I follow him where ever he leads," she said somberly leaving all the pressure on the boy to the side of her.

Above Naiyao, Chair, Hitosu, Victor, Regelion and Madisons head appeared the face of Goddess Makku who had only revealed herself to the world of Deru once. "My children I have used my power to destroy the creatures that have tried to kill you i have healed your village and people as much as i could but I now need your help. I can keep the creatures of Deru Von Karmas servants away from your homes but soon Von Karma he will be able to over power me i need you to venture off and stop him before that time comes. I have watched you for a while and you seem like the best chooses. Will you help me."

Victor fell to his knees, stunned. At first, Victor thought he was fooling himself, his Thousand Eyes showing him the things he wished to see rather than reality. But it soon became apparent that it was no illusion. The village had returned to life. Tarenhold was restored even after the attack. With a sobbing laugh, Victor knelt down before the goddess, holding one hand over his chest.
"I am truly indebted to you, my lady," He said solemnly. "My life is with your cause."
As he took the pledge, Victor's thoughts wandered to this man, Von Karma. How powerful must he be to challenge a goddess? The situation did not bode well. But if she thought him powerful enough, Victor knew he had to try. At least, once he was rested, he would be able to try. I need to manage my power better, Victor sighed inwardly. He'd be back soon enough, and then it'd be time to turn the tables.

Von Karma was angered at what Makku had done to his creatures. He hated everything she stood for and wanted to destroy her. He stared at his servants his evil gaze looking through their souls. "Don't worry my followers this is only a setback we will take over this planet yet but we must deal with makku but before then i need you all to take over the place that witch didn't protect. Once we kill that witch and take the destiny orb no one will stop us hahahaha"

Regelion1
Regelion nodded at Madison and at Makku he was ready. He liked challenges and this was one of the biggest challenges he would face. "i guess my sugnificant other and i will help for our villages sake so lets say our goodbyes and get our stuff to set off somewhere." Regelion gave Madison a wink and started walking away.

Speculum nodded at von Karma's words: "Of course master. I purpose setting up a perimeter around the village. First of all to keep the orb users inside but also to prepare a siege. In addition to that, villagers will soon hear of this and will flock to the village. If we have a perimeter we could massacre them before they reach the village. I volunteer for this task personally." Although his face remained unmoved, his eyes glinted with the hunger for hunting Naiyao. His proposal wasn't about securing the village, cutting it off from the world but rather about staying close to his prey. Von Karma would probably recognise the madness clouding his mind and command him as far away as possible but he knew nothing of the ways of Speculum's village.

It was all about the hunt. Nothing else mattered. Their clothing was fabricated of dead prey, their food was the flesh of the kill. Under the guidance of the eldest, the hunters were trained to kill. The hunt was all that mattered. Speculum tried to think up more reasons why there should be a perimeter and why he should be in charge of it but he couldn't. Naiyao, Naiyao, Naiyao... He couldn't get his prey's name out of his head. He shook his head, annoyed at the thick fog surrounding his thoughts. Never before had he become so immersed into the hunt. The eldest had told him about the effects of finding one's prey but all of his descriptions had been understatements. Naiyao, Naiyao, Naiyao...

Von Karma look at his servants mostly at Speculum. Speculum his first follower and he knew when his judgement was being clouded. "No speculum i have a job for you i want you to go to the low depths of the castle and feed the creature down there. Then i need you to go and get for me a orb all the way from a staff user deep in the forest north of here and take davis with you. Now where is Raggo i would like to here about what hes done."

Regelion1
"Sir if i may i would love to go and kill those orb users for you it would be my pleasure." Xepher walked from the shadows showing himself. His hands where in a straight jacket and a scary smirk on his face. "Fine xepher and you can take up to 15 creatures with you try not to kill them though i know how you get" "Okay sir i'm off" Xepher walked away into the shadows leaving.

In the density of the conversation a man in a long blue jacket with an oddly groomed facial hair walks toward Von Karma. His body seems appropriately attired for someone whom was put in such a high position. The man spins a cane around his body with his right hand and taps it against the ground twice. "Oh my lord," Raggo says with a delighted tune to his voice. "I am here to report to you the results of the city oh so facilitated by the most prompt of matters, furthermore the exhaustion of resources created an abundantly clear desire, no, craving to the local err... residential of said establishment." Raggo speaks with a refined sense of words, though overcomplicating the matter. He does not seem to care much for simplicity as he speaks, having relayed his need for more items of such a rare nature. "Aside from this problematic situation another intrusion has brought itself upon the festivities to create industrial dilemma."
To the right of Raggo sits a furry white wolf that seems to take very crucial definition in appearance. It's chest appears with an abundance of fur and the fur above its eyes appears slightly curled forward. It's body is firm, rather than bulky.

Speculum growled at his master for the first time in a long history of service to von Karma: "Of course master it shall be as you wish." Without another word he turned on the spot, his cape whirling, unsettled by the violent movement. Silently Speculum left, his feet on the floor the only noise he made and even that was only faint. As he reached the doors though, he froze and looked back at Xepher, his features twisted into a mask of hate as he snarled a warning at Xepher. Then he continued out, nearly running towards the stairs that led down to te lowest levels. The brainwashed servants that followed von Karma's orders without hesitation, jumped out of his way, not daring to even get near him.

When he finally reached the door, he saw two crates on the ground in front of it: "Great! Doesn't von Karma have any servants left to feed a single creature???" Annoyed, he lifted up one of the two crates and let a servant open the door, with quick footsteps the broken hull of a once proud human scuttled into the darkness behind Speculum while he walked straight into that ahead. Speculum immediately noticed the two red eyes staring up at him from below. They seemed to shift, never still, it was looking into a red mist, always moving although you didn't expect that from a pair of eyes. Still they did and as Speculum looked back into them, they seemed to pull him inside them, ensnaring him like a trap.

Violently shaking his head, Speculum kicked the crate into the pit and retrieved the second one. He wanted to get this over with as fast as possible.

Madison nodded at her lover and bowed one more time to the goddess and made her way to her home to pack items they would need for the trip not knowing how long they would be gone she packed until one back was full just of medical supplies and a few things to eat she figured she would forage for the rest. Next Madison packed a smaller sack with some clothes and personal items, she went to her dresser and found a necklace she put it to her chest and looked at herself in the mirror, she smiled at the reflection but then sighed before putting the necklace down. "I'm a warrior no time for silly things like this," she said almost depressed.

Davis nodded at Von Karma and got up picking up his scythe a long with himself. The boy turned and glared at Raggo and stuck his tongue out at the man before making his exit, he would need to check into a few things before he left with Speculum. Speaking of Spec, he thought to himself, he seems to be unraveling like his sanity is coming undone. Davis grind to himself this could be a great turn of events.

Von Karma was getting upset with Raggo he wasn't telling him what he wanted he to tell him he starred at Raggo. "enough of the little details what i want to know is if they have sworn their elegance to me. Also what have you done so far to make sure they will keep there elegance to me." Von Karma sat waiting to see what Raggo was going to say and see if he was going to be angry.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Regelion had packed as much as he felt he needed was a medium sized backpack full of food and that was able to carry his weapons so it doesn't mess with his weapon drawing speed. On his waist sat a food pack full of round small shaped pill like foods. When it came to food he was able to find it but he relied on Madison because he ends up poisoning himself a lot. After he was done he went outside and began saying bye to all the people of the village they where sad to see him go. Regelion always like playing with the kids of the village he liked making them laugh with all is jokes and wacky antics. After saying bye to everyone he sat on a rock in front of the dome waiting for his lover.

Raggo coughed with a light tone Ahem and smiled slyly at Von Karma as if to use a trickery of words. Despite this clear cover, his words always had such a mask and elegance that Von Karma would trust them and he could easily get Von Karma to believe what he told him. "Well you see my lord," Raggo began to speak of the situation. "Certain err... Complications were undergone in the procedure of obtaining the essential presence that your lordship would have wished to per-take in. With this said a fluorescent being of magnificent demeanor was of substantial sabatorial means to put a devised and devastic spin to your lordship's plans of commonly yet courteously containing the hopes of said residentials." Raggo told the truth to Von Karma, telling him of the female Naiyao who had sabotaged their plan, yet he said it with a light tone to keep Von Karma appeased. "Non the less my Lord, I have substantial trust in the commandeering of said trustee's and with a small token of your beneficial words could said nuisance even grow to accept these terms of endearment; all the work would be done by me of course my Lord." Raggo was a master of words; despite his openness to using them at too great of frequency.

Von Karma looked at Raggo his anger was visible and started to fill the room. Many of the servants where terrifide but many where just glad that it wasn't directed towards them. A wave of anger came and crashed down on Raggo making his body heavier that his feet quickly sunk into the ground. Von Karma yelled in anger at Raggo. "You let one little Girl mess up my plans you are suppose to be one of my stronge followers and you leta litte girl stop you. Tell me one reason why i myself shouldn't kill you till your just a bloody mess on the floor. The only reason I can think of is that you have served me well and have killed many people in my name." Von Karma litened up on Raggo his anger subsided and all the servants in the room felt relief, Von Karma then started talking to Rago in a normal tone. "Raggo do what you need to do but i want to see progress or i will kill you myself if anything i would ask you to take Aku with you but i'm not sure you would like that."

Xepher Had made it to Tarenhold he was a few yards away waiting in the forest. He knew he couldn't go into the dome so he had to play the waiting game in th forest hide 5 kusamara and 10 Orcagal waiting to get a signal to attack. Xepher hated to wait he was one of the deminte servants of Von Karma he lusted for blood he couldn't sleep right without drawing loads of blood. "I hope they don't take too long i'm getting hungry and i'll have to kill some of the creatures with me that wou make Von Karma mad I hate when hes mad."

With a crash the second crate smashed into the side of the pit Speculum carelessly threw it down into the pit. The eyes followed him until he stepped away from the edge, still annoyed at his master for assigning him this lowly task. Without a word he leapt up the stairs, taking two steps at a time. Once more servants jumped out of the way as he passed them, not awarding them a single glance. If one of them had stood in his way he would probably just have run him over. He spotted Davis from far away and shouted to him as he walked toward his so-called ally: "Let's go Davis! I hope you remember the honourful task our master gave us?" His tone dripped with venom as he spoke.

Naiyao, still remaining inside of the great city, now stood in front of a man with strong armor around his body. He holds a large sword which most men would require 2 hands to wield, then he smiles and bows to Naiyao. She is proud to now lift up a single-handed long sword. The blade itself was of a rare design; she smiled. "Thank you" Naiyao had whispered to the man.

"It is nothing for the daughter of Osagi" the warrior replied proudly. "Your father would have been proud of the achievements his daughter has added to the family name."

"Yes.." She looks down with a hint of sadness, yet she thinks proudly of her father and what he would have thought of her advancement in abilities. "I wish I could stay to continue to help Kadavar but my destiny does not rest here." She nods and turns the blade, seeming to sheath it just beneath her cloak on the left side of her hip. "The Goddess spoke of a man named 'Von Karma', as did Raggo.. My next objective is clear."

"To find this man?" the warrior questions.

"Yes.." Naiyao replies back. "It is because of him that this world now suffers and I cannot allow it to continue.."

"You are always welcome in Kadavar, Naiyao." The man places his arm curved with his fist tight, then places his palm to his fist and holds his fingers directly up, bowing.

Naiyao mimics the motion, bowing to the warrior. "I hope that if the day comes, I can depend on the warriors of this city to help in the fight."

"You will always be able to depend on us." He smiles and nods to her.

With this, Naiyao claims her bag from the stables as well as a horse. The horse holds her sword sheathed on its right side as well as having her bag on the left, keeping supplies hooked to the saddle. Naiyao mounts the horse and takes it by the reins, directing it to the gates of the city and proudly strides out. She has not only gained new abilities but new allies from this long venture; she leans and waves lightly to the residents as she makes her exit, many of them have rushed to the gate to see her go.
As Naiyao reaches the outer limits of the city she looks up again. "The 'Goddess' mentioned a man named Von Karma" she spoke silently to herself. "Those orb user's I saw before will most likely have the same objective as me. I will have to confront him eventually." Naiyao pulls a map from the horse's saddle and glances over it. "My next stop should be Merecrest.." she marks the location on the map. "If rumor's are true, it holds an orb.. perhaps more allies to be made." Naiyao is now determined. Her goal is set and her next location is marked. She does not however know of the dangers that await her; but she is ready to face whatever she confronts. She grips the reins and signals for the horse's movement and with that, she is off for the village of Merecrest!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Raggo had bowed courteously to Von Karma and nodded to do what was needed to accomplish his task. Raggo thought over all of his actions carefully now.. he could no longer smooth talk Von Karma into believing whatever he told him. But he had a trick up his sleeve.. a vile one. On his way to the exit to make his way toward his location, Raggo grabbed a servant by the shoulder. He pulled him close and began to whisper into his ear. The servant's eyes widened, but Raggo held the cane up and the orb of illusions began to shine. Without a word the servant rushed off and a wicked grin appear across Raggo's face.

The Servant of Von Karma had run as fast as he can, reaching the man known as Speculum in time. He quickly tried to pull the words from his mouth. "S-Sir, I have an important message for you.." The Servant is carefully about what he says as he would not wish to end up like the last fool to interrupt Speculum.

Madison ran as fast as she could to where Regelion was, he must've not seen her brcause she was now in a tree above the rock he was on. "hey, so where are we going? Did the goddess say anything to you or are we just going to walk aimlessly around the world?" Madison smiled, at Regelion hoping he would finally notice her.

Davis was leaning on the wall waiting for Speculum when he finally called to him. As the man made his way to Davis one of the lower servants came up to Speculum, the man looked like he was about to piss his pants. Davis picked up on the mans fear and thought it would be fun to see if he could really make this man pee himself. Davis pointed his scythe right at the mans face inches from his nose, the boy put on his scary serious face before she spoke. "Thats no way to speak to Speculum, you should be on your knees before speaking...maybe I should cut feet off so you can always be on your knees" Davis said with anger in his voice before disappearing and reappearing in back of the man he wraps his arm around the messenger and sticks the blade of his scythe to the mans neck. "you have five seconds to speak before I have to explain to the boss why I lift a bloody mess in his hallway."

Bladewind
"Leave him be Davis. I'll take care of him." Speculum didn't wait for an answer, instead grabbing the servant by the hair and dragging him away from Davis into the shadows of a narrow corridor. He looked the man up and down before snarling: "What is it? I hope it's something worth my time or my pets will feed on you!" As if to underline his words several sets of four red eyes appeared behind the enraged man. Von Karma had ordered Speculum to position them around the whole place at the beginning of all this. An assassin would logically try to stick to the shadows and remain unseen but that was where the Inus lived. They were all over von Karma's residence and they were known for attacking servants and devouring them. The only thing that their seemingly sporadic choices of prey had in common was that all of them had somehow angered Speculum. Von Karma knew of this but there were enough servants left and the creatures were well-fed so he didn't address it.

Phoenix3068
The Servant remained fearful and let out a shrilling scream as lord speculum grabbed him by the hair. When now confronted in secrecy, the servant seemed to spill his heart out "Sir, I was on my way for the tasks assigned by Our Lord Von Karma, when Sir Raggo stopped me and demanded that I deliver a message. He told me to mention to you the whereabouts of a person, uh, someone named.. Natayo?" With these words the servant looked up with confusion to Lord Speculum's face in fear of what may happen any moment.

Bladewind
"Naiyao???" Speculum stared at the servant, no longer angry. The Inus dissipated, realising that they had just been denied their prey. Speculum's grip on the servant's hair grew even more painful as he clenched his fists. His eyes seemed to glow with madness as he stared at the servant. But he didn't see the brainwashed fool. He saw a mental image of his prey as he had last seen her. Every little detail was there. The way her hair moved in the wind, the sound she made when she breathed, everything was imprinted in Speculum's mind. His glazed eyes became clear again and they seemed to pierce the servant, seeing everything he had ever experianced, everything he knew: "Tell me the message! Tell me right now!"

Blood trickled down the face of Speculum. He had bitten his own lip in anticipation.

Phoenix3068
The Servant's eyes widen in fear as he feels the tightening of Speculum's grip. What was he planning to do to him!? He could not think.. The servant simply wished to live so he quickly replied to the question asked by Speculum. "L-Lord Raggo told me to inform you of her location, she is leaving the city of Kadavar and will be in a village.. s-someplace called 'Merecrest'!" The Servant has spoken the words quickly and to the clearest that he could make them so as not to anger Speculum. He was simply obeying orders.. hopefully, Lord Von Karma would not be angry with him for having given information that may set Speculum off course... of course, this is if he lives after having given the information to the recipient.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Hm.. It is such a beautiful world that we live in.." Naiyao speaks as she rides horseback from Kadavar. She does not sit ride swiftly but rather just strolling. The horse moves only lightly faster than a human's footsteps and the sound of its hooves touching the ground with each passing step is relaxing to Naiyao's ears... it has been long sense she has been able to relax with complete peace.
Not long down the road she had mustered the desire to take a break. She was far from her next destination and yet not far from her previous one. It made no difference, her final destination would be the same no matter what happened. She slid off the horse and took a clothe from inside the bag hooked to the saddle. From this she took out some food and had herself a small meal. Tasty... she thought after looking at the delights created by the cities occupants.

Not long later..

Naiyao sat full in the grass only a few yards from the main road. Perhaps she could see some messenger or a carriage that would take people between the two cities. Naiyao had fed her steed and mounted once more to set off once again. She pulls the reins of the horse to adjust its path back onto the road and move at a steady pace. Without notice, her mind had begun to shift from her destination to the people she had seen before.. Chair.. and Victor. She had wondered if they were okay. Of course they are! she thought. They have Orbs and can last through a fight decently with them. Then she thought about the other orb users.. the enemies. Davis and Speculum, she remembered their names without much trouble. She could handle them one on one.. perhaps. Together, they could easily overpower her. The only thing she had to her advantage was her speed... at least in style. Her only weapon's now were here Twin Blades (Steel Reavers) and her newest weapon.. a simple Longsword forged of steel. These would be helpful.. but not enough to topple someone who can go against a Goddess. Naiyao did not want to admit it, but the Goddess was unbelievably powerful.. and something that could question her strength must be powerful in itself. She would need more than a few simple weapons.
One more thing that was fluxing her.. the idea of people. Naiyao had seen it in the past. The power of people all united under a common goal was amazing. Had her, Victor, and Chair united their abilities they would easily have been able to topple the two that came at them; especially if they had the dedication in the fight. But their minds were elsewhere. Naiyao was ashamed to admit that even she could not have called out her full strength that day because of her regrets. Returning to the thoughts of people working together, her mind rested on the thought of Von Karma. They are his servants.. She realized a significance to that matter, but did not bother to think about it into depth and continued on her way to Merecrest. It would still be a long while before she arrived.

Bladewind
"Davis!" Speculum threw the servant into a wall carelessly and walked out of the corridor. He stopped right in front of the man with the scythe and looked straight into his eyes: "You heard the master. You will leave for the northern forest, kill that staff user and take the orb in the name of von Karma. Understood?" He turned away from Davis and started walking towards the exit: "I will catch up with you later. Right now I have more important business to attend to than chasing after some orb." There it was again. The thirst for Naiyao's blood raged within Speculum as he spoke and his words were marked by it.

Phoenix3068
Raggo, now thinking contently over his next move in service of Von Karma, allows himself a smirk of common greed. Why take care of the nuisance that so intently chooses to bother Von Karma when he can have someone else do it for him? More importantly, the absence of Speculum from the Orb Locating Team will give ample support for a secret assignment. Raggo's plan's begin to unfold. Who needs Von Karma's permission or expertise when you have such a quick wit. The best thing is that no matter what happens... Nobody but Raggo will be the wiser this time.

The Scenario
Victor crawled to his feet, still thinking about the goddess' offer. He knew he was still weakened after the fights, so rest was the first priority. Victor smiled as he remembered Tarenhold was safe, at least for now. "And the creatures can't get in, can they?" With a sigh, Victor called his Eyes back into existence, and set several patrolling nearby. He had enough strength for that, at least. As Victor approached the village again, he noticed that there was indeed a barrier around it. Inside, Kurasama and Learow lay where they died. Some of the villagers had begun to busy themselves disposing of the remains.

As it turned out, Victor could enter without problems, passing through the barrier as if it wasn't there. He walked through the village greeting each of the villagers, even as they thanked him. But I don't deserve it, he thought. I failed, and I had to run away and rely on others to survive. Victor should his head, clearing away the thoughts as he came to his own home. He went to his study and began the healing ritual. He didn't have many physical injuries, or at least, they were relatively minor. The real purpose of the ritual was to restore Victor's magic. He'd used up too much too suddenly. And the ritual needed time, since it wasn't something that could be used in combat. "They caught me off guard," he growled to himself.

Once the spell was complete, Victor, feeling refreshed, gathered up a few things he'd need. A few knives, just so he wouldn't be caught unarmed again, as well as a bit of food. He picked up a walking stick and headed out the door. "Von Karma, hm?" He muttered to himself. The road ahead was a long one, it seemed to him. He eventually came to the barrier again, the only thing standing between his village and destruction. "I guess I'd better start searching for Von Karma, but first..." Victor placed his hand on the barrier, willing power into it as he drew his spellbook with his free hand. He cast a shielding spell, using the goddess' barrier as a foundation, making it stronger. It would hold off what Victor hoped to be anything trying to do his village harm. "That's my last gift, for now," he said as he left.

Davis smiled and shrugged at Speculum, "I guess it can't be helped, just go meet with your girlfriend and make it quick...I would hate to see boss kill you for disobeying orders and after we got to know each other so well." Davis' voice was covered in sarcasm he couldn't careless about the man or his stupid girl. Davis turned the other way and glared at the massager before walking off and vanishing, he would find and end this staff user and take the orb just as Lord Von Karma ordered.

Raggo has now already left the land in which Von Karma rules over solemnly. He sits inside of a carriage being pulled by several monstrous beings. The one who holds the reins is not friendly either, as he wear's a dark blue shredded cloak and has an essence of death about him. Raggo is happy, yet irritated.. He sits alone with his cane in his right hand and looks out the side of the demonic led carriage. There is an enchantment around the carriage that protects it from not only the Goddess but Von Karma himself. This was placed to ensure efficient planning. Nobody can touch Raggo from in here, or anyone for that matter. "Von Karma, gah... he has no vision, no understanding.. Now me.. Davis alone can handle the orb user and take the orb which he has in his possession. Sending two of them off would only waste resources, especially considering where Speculum is now going." Raggo coughs hard then sits back up with an angry look at his face. "Once Speculum reaches Merecrest he will locate the girl. The Girl holds an Orb and a power beyond most. She has not yet fully awakened her own power and is most vulnerable now. If he kills her, he can take her orb. Then we will have two.. not only that, but there is most certainly an Orb located in Merecrest so we will have three in hand." Raggo looks at the Orb of Illusions which rests on his cane, he continues to plot. "It will be most amusing to see if this all come together.."

Naiyao was still on her way to Merecrest. Once she got there she knew she would not be given the freedom of visiting for long. She would have to grab supplies and leave promptly, else Von Karma send new aid to destroy them. While she rode upon her steed, her mind went through a flashback, remembering the older days before all this.

"Naiyao.. Naiyao, wake up!" She arose quickly and gasped, looking around. Above her stood a man in chainmail armor who looked at her with a smile yet irritated look. "You slept in again." Naiyao rubs the back of her head and smiles. "Eh... hehe, oops."

A group of soldiers in chainmail armor stand in equal length lines. Over a hundred soldiers stand together in lines, armed only with their blades and armor. "We are the Knights of the Varden-Hold and we protect the citizens of our land!" The Knights hold their blades into the sky and cheer. They are proud soldiers and seem justly satisfied.
Naiyao now appears outside as they do. She wear's similar chainmail to the others and has a brown cloak wrapped around her as well as the man who just exited with her. She stands at least two feet shorter than he does. She smiles and follows behind him. "Listen up men" the man who leads calls. "Today, we are simply soldiers. A new threat is upon us, but we will not allow it to delay our progression! We are a proud warrior tribe and we protect the citizens of our nation! Those who stand against us--"
The men all shout together, proudly.. "Will not prevail to our blades! We are the Knights of Varden-Hold!"
Naiyao pulls her cloak back and reaches her hand behind her waist, pulling out one of her dual blades and holds it high into the sky. "They will not prevail! Let us stand together!"
With one last cheer, the soldiers raise their blades high again.

Naiyao's eyes open now, the vision fading. "I should be there soon.." She still relaxes, patiently awaiting the soon approaching village of Merecrest.

Speculum grinned at Davis: "I thank you for your concern my friend. Just don't burn down that forest before I get there." He vanished into the hallways, shivering with anticipation. The messenger gasped as the Inus reappeared, sensing their master's presence leaving for Merecrest. The man didn't even have time to scream before the pack tore him into swallowable chunks. Speculum knew somewhere deep inside his mind that the Inus would return as they did but what was that servant to him? An important letter that after having been read is thrown into the fire to ensure nobody knew of it's content. Speculum smiled at the comparison he had made.

When the servant of von Karma reached the village of Merecrest on his personal mission he gazed upon a shining village that seemed unconcerned by the war going on. Moving bridges transported people to the village that was built above a large, beautiful lake. His mouth twisted into a cruel smile as he walked up to one of the bridges and let himself be carried into the village. The people around here didn't seem to know his face. A group of people who's eyes were glazed and dull looked into his direction. Speculum immediately recognised the emotionless faces, these men and women were under the control of Gunci. Von Karma had eyes everywhere, mainly because of these spirit creatures.

Speculum gave them a silent sign and they spread out, appearing to be going through normal routines like shopping or having a nice chat about the weather as they mingled with the crowd. Although the lake would have been a wonderful region for Gado to live but it was immediately clear to Speculum that they had been driven out as soon as they went crazy with von Karma's thirst for power. Without hesitation the hunter grabbed a bit of dusty cloth from one of the dull eyed women and draped it around him. he now looked like a traveller, tired from a long journey and resting on a fleet of stairs.

Speculum and his loyal slaves were now in position to spring the ambush. He noticed a few dead bodies in the water before they floated under a bridge. Guards responsible for this part of Merecrest.

Luciano didn't get far as two men of a powerful build grabbed him: "You are not going anywhere Luciano." The words were monotone, but that only added to the strange air of violence surrounding the two that had often visited the tavern with the now helplessly caught young man. As if alerted by a signal, the sleepwalkers as they were referred to, formed a circle around Naiyao, a little girl, holding a small puppet in her arms, the instincts of the child slightly overpowering that of the dream usurper stepped forward to speak: "I'm sorry miss but my friends would hate to see you leave already." Her tone was sweet as honey, innocent and pleading. But when she added to her previous statement, the way she spoke the words was irrelevant: "Or at all." The others nodded in agreement speaking in a chorus: "You're not leaving this place girl. Nobody will survive. The master will have his will."

Speculum kept to the shadows as he watched the scene unfold. The master they were referring to, was of course him but Naiyao would probably suspect von Karma himself. The sleepwalkers drew weapons, mostly daggers, to show that they were serious. Speculum smiled and whispered into the wind: "Well Naiyao? Are you going to kill innocents just because of the demons possessing them?" He stepped out of the shadows of a shop, the dusty cloth still concealing his true appearance. The head of a dead guard bobbed back to the surface nearby. Somebody noticed and suddenly the situation was clear even to the most dense villagers. In the background, a handful bridges started moving, carrying guards, attracted by the noise.

As they neared the part of the village that the battle was about to unfold on, Speculum heard the sergeants shout orders to their men and all guards drew their weapons. As the bridges were nearly there, a few enthusiastic young guards leapt the last distance. Speculum watched them as they became slow under his control. Then something happened that he hadn't anticipated or planned in: in a flash one of the slowed down guards disappeared and a blood red spot appeared on the surface of the water. Speculum let go of the guards in surprise as he realised that the Gado had only stayed in hiding and, sensing a chance to get fresh meat and revenge had resurfaced. The villagers looked just as shocked as him as another handful dissappeared, the water was becoming completely red.

To blend in with the crowd and incite fear in the populace he let himself scramble away from the water as if deeply horrified by what he had just seen. One of the sleepwalkers that hadn't revealed itself yet screamed with a highpitched voice that hurt the ears: "What in the world is happening to our beautiful Merecrest???" Speculum grinned under the piece of cloth covering his mouth, those villagers were about to stampede.

Phoenix3068
Naiyao was unsure of what to do. She had three situations to deal with and she would have to deal with them fast. Before her were victims of the mysterious man whom may very well be Von Karma himself, the man responsible for the death of her people. But then was the beast that lied in hiding. Naiyao closed her eyes and in only an instant the entire situation ran through her mind as she worked a plan through it.

"Right then.." Naiyao quickly grasped her blade on her right side and flicked it outward, pulling it from its hold on the back of her waist. Without wasting time she rushed forward toward the first being that stood in her way whom was armed, swinging her blade up. To a surprise, she struck against the blade, then having overpowered him, she lifted her right leg up, her heel directed forward. She thrusted it with a strong push and kicked the man strongly in the center of his chest, sending him sliding back across the ground. I have to move fast she thought and she quickly moved back to the ground, seeming to flicker in a disappearance as she moved at high speeds. She was already out of the grasp of the villagers, but would have to deal with them eventually.
Naiyao slides to a stop next to the water, but doesn't actually seem to stop.. she pulls herself forward and leaps into the air, flipping forward, then diving directly into the water.

The dreaded Gado moves through the water at such a fast pace it is difficult to see. Naiyao has her eyes closed and she focuses. She can feel the water jets moving past her from the trail left by it. It's preparing to strike. The Gado has prepared a full meal list and Naiyao forced her way to the top of the list, but she does not allow this to frighten her. She holds her blade in her right hand and feels for the patterns... There! she thought as she pointed her blade forward in her hand. Lightening Vortex! from the tip of her blade came a static that spread out, branching into separate streaks of electricity that converged around the might beast of the water. It's body had intensified the electrical volts and soon, it was no more. The water still sparked with the electric currents, though it's after effects have damaged her greatly as well. Naiyao seems to slowly float to the bottom of the water and touch the lowest section. This was... unexpected. she thinks as she lays deep under the water. Her eyesight begins to go dark as a glimmer catches her eye. Thing's go silent. She will not last much longer.

Above the Water

The young man known as Luciano was taken prisoner by the two very large men. As he was being taken with them, he hears the scream of someone from where Naiyao was. "signora! Lasciami andare Bastardo!" Luciano jerked his hands back quickly, making the two men stop for just half a second as it was a sudden exertion. Luciano grasps two knives from his waist beneath the belt and thrusted them forward into the sides of both men, for only that second that forced a release of him, as Luciano turned and sprinted away from them. He pushed against his feet and moved into a barrel roll through the air, slamming himself through a window into a small building.

Regelion himself wasn't too sure about it himself but usually when that happens he just wings it. "It took you long enough beautiful but no she didn't really say much about where to go it probably means she might not even know where he is. But lets just wing it and head for the closest place north of hear Merecrest. We should hurry we don't want to be caught out there when it gets night you know how dark it gets so lets go love." Regelion walked out of the dome it tingled a little but he had to be ready for anything dead corpses where everywhere. He walked past the corpses avoiding as many as he could till he was past them all.

Xepher had grown tired of waiting and just it time he had seen movement from Tarenhold it seemed someone was walking his way. Xepher assumed it was the orb user but he didn't care as long as he killed something. Xepher began running out of the forest towards Victor. Xepher had a scared look on his face as two kusamara chased after him. Xepher fell to the ground and turned towards the Kusamara who then jumped towards him to attack him. Xepher acted like he was a victim just so he could get closer to the orb user.

A bird flies through the sky, an eagle or possibly a falcon.. The bird then swoops down gracefully and as it quickly approaches it flaps its wings to create wind resistance, stopping it just above the arm of Regellion with a note attached to its left talon. After being unfolded.. the note reads.

"Greetings, I am Geol. I message to relay to you orders from another. The city of Merecrest is suspected to soon fall under a great conflict. Do not enter this area. Instead, please come to my location. I am in the town of Jakara; East of Tarenhold. We shall discuss the future plans and the wishes of our Goddess, Makku."

Not long after the arrival of this first letter, many letters arrive around the nation to many of the Orb users via a carrier pigeon. The only being whom the pigeon does not yet reach is Victor himself; whom has only just exited Tarenhold as the bird itself could not breach the barrier.

Victor noticed the movement long before he was in range of the activity, but he saw it nonetheless. On of the Thousand Eyes he'd sent patrolling had seen the commotion, and thus, so did Victor. The man needed help, and now that Victor had charged himself, he was more than ready to help. It took only a few spells; first, speed, as Victor removed his book and cast the buff. His form blurred, and he was upon the creatures in moments, between them and the fallen man. Next, blasts of force, augmented with the Dark Orb. Victor held out a hand and caught one Kusamara in mid air, and threw it into its companion with immense force, crushing both into one space. The darkness covered them for a moment, then receded, leaving a mess of roots. Victor felt exhilarated at the Victory, his Eyes seeming to dance around as several continued to orbit him. He turned, holding out a hand to help the man up, while saying, "Hello, there. My name's Victor."

Madison jumped from her spot and landed beside Regelion, she had on a dark brown sleeveless shirt that came up to her neck but left her shoulders, her wrist and ankles were wrapped in brown leather and her hands covered with metal wrist guard that would serve to help block blades and her ankle and feet were also covered by metal and protected ankles, underneath were leather sandals that covered that top and bottom of her foot but her toes and heel uncovered. She also had a pack with its strap around her shoulder and chest that sat on her hip and another bag strapped on her waist, her long black hair was wrapped up in a bread but her bangs were free. Madison did not carry any weapons she had no need for them, her feet, knees and elbows were all she needed to take down even the mightiest of warriors and for everything else she had her orb magic.

Madison and Regelion made their way through the forest, she was able to move faster but she had to slow down for Rege she didn't want to lose the man, suddenly a bird landed on Regelion's arm that had a note attached to it. Madison took the note from the bird and it flew away, she read the message aloud so that her love could give his thoughts about the situation. "What do you think...we were looking for a sign from your goddess and here one presents itself. Should we heed the message and head for Jakara or keep heading toward Merecrest and try to help before it falls?" Madison asked for his opinion, everything they did was decided after they talked to each other this matter was no different.

Davis was very lost in the thick forest it would be night soon and he was thinking of making camp for the night then suddenly happened to run into some travelers, a man and his wife and their children a boy and girl they both seemed to be the same age no older then 10.
The man was the first to react with a nod, "greetings," the man said eying Davis trying to make out wither he was friendly or going to try an attack. The man seemed friendly enough but his hand was on the handle of his sword. The woman stayed silent behind the man and the children behind the woman hiding in the woman's cloak.
Davis smiled at the man and his family before speaking, "Hiya," the boy said not even thinking about going for his weapon. "What brings you guys all the way out here?" Davis said and a friendly tone, anyone who knew Davis would have been blown away by how he was acting it was almost like he was a normal person.
The man seemed to ease up a bit and take his hand off the hilt of his weapon but never too far away. "on our way to Sol'nube in the mountains, what about you stranger?" the mans eyes fell on Davis' scythe and they seem to question it.
Davis' eyes widen in excitement, "thats where I'm heading too!" he exclaimed lying to the man, he really didn't know where he was headed he just knew it was somewhere around this reign. "but I'm lost right now and don't know where I am, I've been lost for a couple days trying to find the right path," he said with a worried expression continuing to lie, he was wearing a dirty tattered coat that almost touched the ground so his story looked like it could be true.Davis noticed the mans eyes on his scythe, "oh don't worry about this old thing its only used to protect myself against the creatures and thieves."
The man seemed satisfied with his answer and turned to his family before turning back to Davis, "your welcome to travel with us to the city if you'd like," the man said in a friendly voice that was welcoming. Davis smiled and nods at the man, his plan had worked but all the same he had no intention of harming this family even if Von Karma himself ordered it, this family was too much like his..before they died.
The man spoke again breaking Davis out of his memory that he tried so hard to suppress, "My name is Kuma and this is my wife Jade and my children Cassandra and Anthony," the woman bowed her head and greeted Davis but the two younger ones stayed hidden, Davis mimicked the woman "My name is Lee." Davis said with confidence.
"We were about to set up camp before it got too dark, would you help Anthony collect fire wood? Jade and Cassandra will start supper and I'll start a fire" Kuma asked but it sound more like like he was telling him in a fathery way.
Davis smiled, "sure I would be happy to help," the boy said with no sign of sarcasm, for a second it was like his father was back from the grave. these memories aren't so bad I think I'll allow myself to remember some more but just the good ones, he said to himself.
Davis took the scythe from his back and lend it on a tree he wouldn't need his weapon, he set out looking for dried wood that would burn easy, it wasn't long before Anthony caught up with him with an arm full of firewood.
"your good at finding this stuff," Davis said. the boy just nods and keeps looking for wood. "Not the talkative type, uh?" Davis said with a grin picking up some wood.
This is the first time in a long while Davis has felt normal and relaxed he hadn't thought about killing the family once and he liked the feeling, he liked the idea of befriending them rather then beheading them. Davis was so distracted he almost forgot his mission and sadly he could not forget who he was and who is dark master was wither.

Raggo continues along the road in his magically enhanced carriage. His cane now sits within the grip of a cylinder within the center of the room. The Orb of Illusions masks itself as a window into the view of the others. Through this Raggo views the combined actions of each being.

He views Speculum in Merecrest, having claimed assumed victory over the woman known as Naiyao and her apparent death. Of course, he would still need to collect the orbs. Raggo shifts the view of the window and now looks upon a new group.

He see's Davis sitting inside of the forest with the family. Slacking of course.. Of course this was a good thing. It worked ever closer toward the total goal of Raggo in the end. He could work each of their actions into a rather beneficial point.

Raggo now viewed the actions of Xepher. Perfect.. they all were taking some presumable form of action. But of course, this would not do. If Raggo was to complete his own personal goal, this would have to change.

"The outcome of this should result in the capture of several new orbs, but for me to have the upper hand I will need to make these actions seem... less, obediant."

Raggo begins to laugh. This will all work to his own plan. Self Destruction is the only course of action they will have, they will all obey him... or die. Raggo's ideals take him back to the days of old. He smirks and his gaze lifts from the orb to the other side of the carriage, where it is discovered he does not sit alone. A wicked smile shines over Raggo's face as he looks upon the shadowy figure.

"Heheheh..."

"Well done Naiyao. You really are worthy of being called prey." Speculum smiled to himself and the sleepwalkers began moving towards the small cottage that Luciano had leapt into. The two men that had held Luciano just a few moments before fell to the ground, clutching their wounds: "Luciano..." The men sobbed at having succumbed to the Gunci and attacking their friend, the demons possessing them having left their bodies as the two friends started to die. The others didn't hesitate to smash away at the door with their bare hands, bursting open their skin and colouring parts of the door red. The door broke under the vicious assault and the sleepwalkers stormed inside.

Meanwhile Speculum leaned down to look into Naiyao's eyes. He could see that once again she had endangered herself to destroy her enemy. He let his hand stroke her wet cheeks caringly: "Thank you for your help warrior. That gado endangered all Merecrest with it's presence. Without you it would have killed all those that tried to cross the lake." His tone was kind and he smiled as he took a hold of Naiyao's marked hand. The whole arm seemed to catch on fire with pain as the hunter touched the symbol he had inlaid in the prey. The cloth slid into the water and his true identity was revealed to his adversary: "Doesn't look like you can fight me in this state..." He shook his head in disapproval as his hand slid down from the face to the neck.

Without hesitating Speculum plunged into the wet, his grip on his prey's neck painfully tight. He swam away from the platform, over to a bridge that carried a handful of guards. As he emerged, SPeculum speedily shot the men with his revolver. Then he dragged Naiyao onto the bridge: "Well? Are you going to try and fight?"

"What beautiful prey you are Naiyao. So beautifully powerful that you blot out the stars." Speculum smiled crazily, his words honey sweet as he gazed at her, ready to fight. Slowly he got up again, still smiling. Then he pulled out his revolvers and spun them expertly: "Of course my dear. No more tricks, no more allies." Then he tilted his head, looking at a child drowning in the lake. It was the girl that had addressed Naiyao in the name of the sleepwalkers. On a silent signal from Speculum the Gunci inside the girl took over again instead of letting it's host die. It grabbed the side of a bridge, but did not climb up. "You can count on my word and I can count on yours. However I don't trust that Luciano and his friends. I hope they realise that interference will result in the death of that cute child." The other sleepwalkers that had landed in the water did not try to save themselves and silently sunk to the bottom of the lake as if to underline Speculum's words.

The revolvers started moving faster and faster, nearly impossible to see with the human eye even though Speculum did not use his orb yet: "Let's get started Naiyao my little flower." His words sounded twisted, abusing the term of endearment. Without warning Speculum jumped back into the water. He opened his eyes wide to the murky surroundings and planned the place to re-emerge. He chose and ,using his orb, he raced through the water and flew out of the water to Naiyao's left. His revolvers immediately found their target. Speculum allowed himself another smile and fired. The bullets whistled through the air and struck the bridge. Speculum didn't fire directly at Naiyao but started off with his arms spread wide and then brought them together, aiming straight at Naiyao. Using his orb he could reload and fire again without a noticable pause even though he wasn't using it's powers to it full potential.

Speculum wasn't like Naiyao. Instead of trying to quickly end the battle in a self-endangering way, Speculum kept some of his energy in reserve, waiting for the perfect moment to unleash hell upon his adversary.

Phoenix3068
Naiyao glares as Speculum holds the life of a girl in his hand to threaten her. The bastard! The terms were clear and Luciano would not interfere. He knew that Naiyao could handle herself and he would only get in the way in a 1 on 1 fight. She quickly begins to move side to side as she approaches, moving into a sprint at high speeds, bringing her blade forward in her right hand with her eyes locked onto Speculum despite his own movements. Naiyao quickly brings her blade into the air in front of her.. holding for a delay, then she brings it across, using her own high speed movement she parries the bullet that comes at her, then almost as if she herself is using a time effect her arm moves rapidly, negating each bullet that flies at her. You can't keep up with me and you know it, so why even try to beat me in speed. With the bullets flying still and Naiyao deflecting them at her current range, her eyes peer at the ground with a plan having quickly developed. That's it! she turns her blade around so she holds it like a knife and quickly slashes down, striking one bullet away with a great speed, then her body flickers and becomes invisible to the human eye due to her high rate of movement.

Slow-Time: Naiyao after striking the bullet, speeds her bodies movement up and steps quickly to the right, then sprints toward speculum, sliding behind him in a long skid. She then brings her arm up with the blade in her hand and brings her left hand to the blade.. her lightening orb glows.

With Naiyao now standing behind Speculum at least twenty feet she begins to bring her orb into power. "Lightening!" Naiyao's lightening orb sparks and sends out a shocking electric current that bursts through the sky, sending down an electric current from the sky that would move as if almost instantly and strike Speculum. The power of the attack itself would only increase the pain in Speculum's body as well as the sheering burning feeling in his back.

Luciano stands with the two men whom were previously attempting to capture him. They seem to argue in statement to assisting her, until Luciano finally points out that Naiyao can handle it herself and that their interference would only result in the death of the girl and the possible death of Naiyao herself. He looks around as if feeling that there must be something that he can do. He growls in anger with realization that he cannot. With this, he turns and walks back toward the alley in which he originally came from. With no feel of use, he moves away so as not to get in the way. He wants to avoid a possible chance of not being able to control himself and jumping into the fight.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

He laughs, but why. This situation seems as if it is escalating out of control. Most of Von Karma's men are disobeying his orders. Speculum has left the mission that Von Karma had given him. Instead, he is hunting the prey that he was informed of by a messenger which Raggo himself had sent. Davis is expected to kill a Staff User and steal his orb, however instead.. he is with a family whom rather than shift to the side of Von Karma's, decides to enjoy their company. Of course, this may prove useful. Raggo, without hesitation and with a menacing smirk on his face, swipes his palm over the orb.

The images seen... Speculum's ignorance of Von Karma's orders to chase after his own goal... Davis' ignorance to serving the rule of Von Karma and instead, enjoy a families hospitality... They all appear to Von Karma, allowing him to see how two of his most loyal servants would so blatantly ignore him. It comes with a message which Von Karma hears as if speaking directly to him, however Von Karma cannot reply as due to the effects of the carriage itself. "My Lord, My Lord, I am MOST apologetic to inform upon to you, the unfortunate conditions of your 'LOYAL' Servants. I wish to tell you however that in my absense I have captured several villages which now chant the name 'Von Karma' as if you are a god. Despite your other servants, incompetence, my lord. I am still your loyal Servant." Raggo could have won an award for his betrayals.

Bladewind
"ARGH!!!" Speculum's eyes flew wide open as Naiyao struck him from behind. His back was aflame with agonizing pain. He sailed through the air and dived into the water. The cool liquid embraced him as he struck it, sinking below the surface. Unconscious with pain for a minute or two, Speculum held his breath. Then his eyes flew open once more and he swam to the surface. He coughed and gasped for air. He shook his head in despair, his weapons, the two silver revolvers were still where he had stood moments before. They were still on the bridge, lying to Naiyao's feet. Speculum coughed up another mouthful of a mixture of blood and water as he stared at his prey. He wasn't strong enough... He had overestimated himself and underestimated his prey. The hunter stumbles and becomes the prey. Such is the way of the wild. The eldest's words echoed in Speculum's head.

He would have to give up. At least for now. He smiled at the victor of the duel that had been to fast for the human eye to actually percieve. "You have won Naiyao. If there are two things that define my people they are that we keep to our word and that we only make tactical retreats, we never surrender or rout." The girl got onto the bridge and screamed for help as the Gunci released her. The other sleepwalkers returned to their normal selves too. Speculum knew when he had lost and he wasn't about to sacrifice those brave creatures to a suicidal attack. That was von Karma's way of handling things, not Speculum's. Again he smiled at Naiyao as he spoke: "I'll be back Naiyao. I'll always be back for more." He struggled onto the main platform again and raised his hands to the sky, holding a gigantic feather.

It was the feather of a Tao, enchanted with a spell of ancient magic. This kind of magic was only practiced by those of Tempest. The feather was imbued with a special kind of spell. Not for fighting purposes though, rather it was something else. Speculum closed his eyes as the wind started to become stronger and stronger, swirling around him, making his cape flutter. Then he began to chant the ancient spell: "Remeo Tempest!!!" The wind howled around him now and with a flash he was gone. The teleport spell returned him to the place he had so long not visited. Here he would find new strength. Here he would gain the power to defeat Naiyao. He was going home.

My name's Victor." Xepher sat there with his straight jacket unhooked and reached for Victors hand pulling himself off the floor. Xepher thirst for blood but he knew if he befriended this orb user he will be able to lead him to the others. He would rather kill multiple then just one if it wasn't for the fact that he killed more then half the creatures he was with he wouldn't have been able to stay calm and not kill. Luckily for Xepher no one knew him and those who do are ether fellow servants or the dead seeing as he killed them. "Thanks Pal the names Xepher thanks for the help I would have killed them but my weapon stalled on me and i freaked. So where you going Victor Maybe I can join you and repay the favor shoot i owe you one for the save what do you say." Xepher was a great actor that was one of his jobs before he joined Von Karma. But his only problem was keeping his blood lust under control which was his weak point. Xepher looked over Victors shoulders and seen a kusamara coming from behind him. Xepher pulled out his assault rifle and shot down the kusamara blood spewed out at that exact moment his eye twitched.

______________________

Regelion thought about it for a second he did like danger and helping people but he did think that teaming up with others would help get there mission done faster. "Well my love i'm not too sure its a hard decision to make but if anything we can head to Jakara find this person then we can head to Merecrest. But both aren't too far from each other and we better get to Jakara its getting dark and Inu might start attacking." Regelion then started to run off in the direction of Jakara with so much excitement in each of his steps. He knew that Madison would catch up o him easily. The sun started to go down and night started to grow after hours of running they finally made it to Jakara or so they thought. When they got to where Jakara should be but it was just a huge clearing. Regelion looked around but couldn't find then he looked up and there i the sky floated Jakara. "Now the question his how in the hell do we get up here." Regelion stepped forwards and circle appeared around him making him disappear. He was instantly teleported to the entrance to Jakara behind him stood a huge drop. In the entrance of Jakara stood an arch made by two statues of the Goddess Makku each holding up half a sign that said welcome to Jakara. Each statue was made of crystal and the sign was made of silver, the floor made of platinum. Most of the people in Jakara clothing was made of gold thread and statues of Goddess Makku where everywhere.

Phoenix3068
"General," a woman begins to speak. Her clothing is much like the Archmages from outside as is the custom of Jakara. Beneath her hood which she has pulled just above her head is very light blonde hair as if almost white. Her eyes themselves are white as the moon itself, though the pupil is still separated clearly from the rest of the eye. A man seems to cut of her off.

"I know Akashi." The man replies to her with a smile. He appears to be in his mid-twenties but that is a clear lie of magic. His body has been altered to the point of looking young, despite his greater age. His hair is black yet spreads thick and blue eyes shine like an everested pool of water. His clothing does differ from the natives as it is a thick white cloth over most of his body. His torso consists of a thick white cloth which moves down nearly to his knee's like a jacket. At the end of both sleeves is a black fabric which is tightly tied around the clothe to cut it off though leaving a bit of baggage, his hands are nicely gripped because of it. Beneath the white clothe at his chest is a black shirt which is made from similar fabric as the one around his wrists. Beneath his waist, he wears white clothe pants which leave a bit of extra baggage, all of this despite his extremely fit body. He wear's a belt of black clothe around his waist though only beneath the white jacket, and he wears' black combat boots which have a unique stature to them. They seem rather more fit then bulky as most boots might be. On his right hip, a blade rests. The blade ends at a curve back making it only damaging on one side as it has a larger guard as well to protect the hand. "I shall go meet them." The male turns to the door and pushes it open with both hands, appearing to be two doors which open wide. The sun open's its mystical glow onto his eyes as he looks across Jakara. The male smiles greatly in hope that this will be what he was waiting for. He steps from the house toward the two known as Regelion and Madison. "Greetings Followers of Makku, I am glad to welcome you to Jakara, Home of the Followers of Makku and the last bastion of safety in all of the world." The male offers his right hand to the two, first to Regelion as he only seems to be like a leader of the two. "I am Geol, some know me as General however, I have no army any longer. I am the one who called you here."

Bladewind
"Welcome back hunter." Speculum looked up into the eldest's eyes. They spoke of knowledge gained in many hunts. He bowed his head to the old man: "I have eldest. My Venatura has begun." The old man smiled and easily lifted Speculum up from his kneeling position: "Let us speak now as grandfather and grandson, not as eldest and hunter. You have been gone for such a long time that your fellow hunters have started to place bets if you survived." A certain glint stole itself into the wise man's eyes, it was mischief: "Looks like quite a few owe me some money!" He laughed and Speculum laughed with him. It was good to be home. The air of Tempest cleared his head, the wind howling past him, dragging with it all troubled thoughts.

The two started walking toward the center of the series of platforms that had been placed between the mountain tops. They were made of solid stone, an amazing work of architecture that the original Tempest villagers had achieved with the help of the creatures of the wind. Speculum smiled as he watched groups of Tao fly overhead. They were Tempest's allies, the villagers having mastered taming them throughout the ages while the other villages had been happy to keep the animals surrounding them at bay. But von Karma's dark wave of energy had corrupted even these brave creatures, making them more aggressive than before. The eldest noticed the direction of his gaze and his smile faded a bit: "Speculum? Do you remember those eggs that were about to hatch when you left? Those Tao are amongst the most ferocious creatures I have ever seen." He shook his head in dissapproval. Speculum nodded, those eggs had been laid exactly at the time the dark energy had struck Tempest. Those Tao were affected most by the wave.

When they reached the center platform, a large crowd had gathered to see the return of the eldest's grandson and sthe son of their leader. Speculum let his gaze wander over the gathered hunters, searching for his father. First the returning hunter greets the eldest then the leader. Only after he has done so may he greet fellow hunters and friends. It was a rule layed down by the ancients, as the villagers of Tempest called their ancestors. But he couldn't find the leader of Tempest. The old man by his side put a hand on his shoulder and let his still amazingly strong voice ring out to the gathered hunters: "Hunters! Greet Speculum as an equal one more time before he ascends!" A chorus of voices answered the order. Then the eldest led the confused Speculum away: "Before he ascends???" Speculum was gripped by fear. Those were the words used when the announcement of a new leader stood before.

The pair entered a large cave in which stood a gigantic altar. It was shaped like Kuki, the guardian of the wind. On the altar lay a single orb, it's power seeming to flood the whole cave. "One week ago your father, our leader, felt that he was slowly succumbing to the wounds he suffered when leading the creatures of Deru against Varenhold." The battle of Varenhold. It was a story of tragedy and great heroes. many believed it had been waged by von Karma but that assumption was wrong. Ancient feuds had re-emerged between the two villages bringing a great war. Speculum nodded solemly, his father had gone on his final hunt, never to return to Tempest. Speculum was going to be the new leader. he would share power with the other two rulers. Eldest, Leader and Beastmaster. A triangle of power, controlling the different areas of Tempest: economy and wellbeing of the villagers, hunting and war, taming of the Tao.

"You know what you must do?" The eldest looked deep into Speculum's eyes and he nodded: "I do. Forge the windblades and the leader's armour with my bare hands and the wind, dress in them and present myself to Tempest and it's inhabitants, Tao and Humans alike." The old man nodded in approval and left.

Naiyao stood above Vardenhold with a proud look upon her face. She stood to the left of a strong man with the nations armor. They were part of the Osagi family, the Leaders of the nations military. Her father served proudly under the true ruler for years, protecting the nation and its citizens. To the further side was a younger boy. He had darkened brown hair and skin tanned as the rest of their tribe had. All three of the Osagi family standing above Vardenhold wore the nations armor and they wore it proud. The area they stand on, a balcony which looks over their nation, is connected to a large tower which seems to come from the large building. This was the barracks. Below them were thousands of men and women; wearing the armor of the nation, it was a red cuirass with a golden dragon upon it. This was to symbolize their fierce power and their dedication to the cause.

"Naiyao, Dante, today you will take your claim as the future of Vardenhold and the Guardian's of our great nation. Guardian's of Deru. Stand tall and take your claim. Speak proudly... or they will not respect you." As their father finishes the claim, they both nod and speak back to him.

"Yes father" they both reply. The two children, now age 13, are to take their Ceremony today.

Soon, they stand before a crowd though now at ground level. Several knights of the true-blade stand behind them with their blades drawn and held firmly within both hands so the blade itself is directed upward in both hands. Naiyao reaches behind her waist with her right hand, grasping a single blade. As she does this.. Dante, her brother, steps forward and pulls a large heavy blade from his back. They both move onto their knees and press the blade into the ground, closing their eyes. They begin to speak..

"We are all; yet we are one. We protect Deru under the Goddess Makku and we will continue to serve our nation. We step now into sanctity to take our place as the blade of the Varden. We are nothing; we are everything; we are truth. When we fight, let our blades be an extension of our hearts. We are the Guardians."

As the speech ends, first stands Dante who pulls his blade up with merely one hand, holding it still inside of the ground. A knight steps forward to him. They place their fist near their chest and place their left palm to their fist. They bow. Dante mimics this image, bowing to the Knight. "Dante Osagi; you are a Guardian of Deru. You serve the Goddess Makku and under her word, you will rise to greatness." Naiyao now stands and steps forward to Dante's side. She seems nervous at first but appears strong. She stands taller now and with her rise to this point, she stands in position. The knight once more takes place in front of Naiyao, bowing in the traditional sentiments. Naiyao repeats this to the knight, the words begin. "Naiyao Osagi; you are a Guardian of Deru. You serve the Goddess Makku and under her word, you will rise to greatness." Both children of the Osagi name step back. Once more they bow in respect, then they turn once more to each other and bow.

Naiyao's head shakes quickly as she wakes up, having her arms wrapped around the horse's neck, seeming to just be barely hanging on while sitting on its back. "H-Huh..?" she questions at first. "O-oh yeah.. I was on my way to.. to Jakara right..? eh, who am I talking to.." She rubs her eyes and clears her throat, sitting up again on the horse. In the sky, it is dark. It is night time and yet she does not stop.

Davis sits by the camp fire and listens to Kuma's talk of their journey, he laughs as he hears the man tell about how he wrestled a bear for a fish and Cassandra interrupts saying it was only a baby bear and they had to run when the mother bear came to help the baby.
"So Lee, why are you heading to Sol'nube?" Jade asked with a smile.Davis hesitated before speaking trying to think of something, "well I'm looking for a man, a man thats a powerful staff user and carries an orb" the family looks at him confused, "well, I'm supposed to train with him." Davis lied, it was the only thing he could do right now.
Kuma looked at his wife and laughed, "I think we know who your speaking of, my wifes older brother, Alaster. He is the cities best spellcaster and didn't her come in possession of a powerful orb?" Kuma asks his wife, she nods her head in agreement. Kuma turns back to Davis with a large smile," ah so your going to train under ol' Alaster huh? I hope you strong cause hes going to run you into the ground!" Kuma laughs followed by chuckles by his wife and children.
Davis joins in with a nervous laugh, "so, Alaster is really strong?" the boy could feel his heart racing he was so excited now his thirst of battle was coming back, his right hand started shaking so bad that he had to grab it with his left, he didn't trust himself anymore he had to leave before he slaughtered his new friends.
Kuma spoke up catching Davis' attention again, "don't be so nervous Lee, Alaster is a good man and a great teacher I hear." the man said with a grin.
Suddenly three men dressed in black and covered faces jumped out from behind bushes they had surrounded Davis and the family, Davis was the first to arise to his feet, he grabbed his scythe and jumped to defend his friends. Kuma leaped for his sword and stood between the men and his family, "What do you want!" the man shouted in a voice that would make someone shudder in fear.
The taller of the three men spoke first, "we were ordered by Lord Von Karma to kill anyone on the path to Sol'Nube ," he hissed. Another of them spoke, "lay down your weapons and we shell make this quick and as painless as possible," he said. the the last one spoke, "if not we shell make this slow and painful," she said looking at the female of the group and laughing.
Davis lost control over himself, he couldn't hold in his blood lust anymore, in an instant Davis was gone then reappeared in back of the man who spoke last. He swung his scythe down ward and cut the man in half splattering his blood all over the scythe user. Davis licked the blood off his lips and chuckled, he was enjoying the blood but he needed more, so much more...
The remaining two men realized who the demon in front of them was, they dropped to their hands and knees. "Davis, sir! we didn't realize it was you, we didn't mean to interrupted your kill please go on." one of the men said with pure fear in his voice.
Davis walked in between the men he had forgetting about the family until now, "now now, if I wanted them died they would me in a puddle of they're own blood, much like you friend here," he mused as her poked at the man he just split in half.
The man spoke up again, "s-s-sorry sir we'll just leave you and the family alone a-a-and forget about this whole thing."
Davis laughed almost falling, the fear in the man's voice was so pleasing to his ears. "I can't just let you leave here, I can't believe to actually thought that was an option." he said lightly. "well I am in a rather good mood so I'll give you until I count to 10 before I come after you," he smiled as he presented another one of his twisted games.
The men didn't hesitate they ran in deferent directions hoping at least one of them would escape, Davis pointed an open hand at both of them. "Oops I guess I lied again," he said with a wicked grin. He channelled power from his lightning orb and struck the men down with overwhelming power, the men fell to the ground dead.
Kuma and his family screamed in horror as if they had actually seen a demon..."Don't go to Sol'nube or I'm going to have to slaughter you all to," Davis' smile was that of a sick killer but tears ran down his face, his new friends saw him for what he really was, a monster. The teen picked his scythe up and took one last look at the family and vanished, he knew what he had to do and he knew where he was going now.

Cammii
Camille pushed her self up, making sure she had everything ready to go out with . It was time to go around the village to make sure everything was going in order. It was a daily thing for Camille, Since her father was to old to carry on with taking over. It was warm but the air carried a small cold breeze. Camille closed her door as she headed out, people out doing what they do every day, everything seem in order, in peace. Camille moved around the working people, small chatter between the villagers . The village Spoof was never a village of violence, only fought when needed to defend the people of the village. Camille kept her swords held tight to her side, though ready to be drawn at any moment. It was a while since her last battle, though training brought her skills up higher. The late night training with her father helped her become more sharp , and helped her get stronger. Camille never really had the need to fight , she never really wanted to fight. She believed with every problem peace can be found . Yet with the evil doings of others never let peace happen anymore.

While Camille's round trip around the village , some villagers seem to be stressed and upset. Though paying no more than a couple second attention and going on. A villager seem to snap , his voice raising and his face red. Camille had stopped to look , there were some new faces Camille has never seen before .

'They must be new , or coming to see someone here.'

Though there faces were tired looking ,and if they had seen a ghost . There face puffed up from the hours of crying. Dirt covered parts of them, they looked no were close to clean. Camille took her time to move closer, she didn't want the man to freak out on her.

"What is going on here?"

Camille moved over to the group , the man didn't even take a second to look at her he went one with his rant .

"Our village was attacked miss."

A small young girl spoke, dirt across part of her face, it hide some of her face and hid the tear marks on her face. Camille looked at her as if she was speaking of a tale. Camille had heard of villages being attacked and being destroyed. She never really believed it for a while, though the one thing she didn't understand was why would they come here?.

"Everyone is dead , It happened so fast! I don't know what we are going to do!"

A man cried out , he seem to be the one to hold the group of people together, yet it seemed he already gave up . This man couldn't take anymore, he held everything in ,and now he was crying for help. Camille was lost the words couldn't form into a well said sentence.

"Calm your self, Why did it get attack? And how did you get into our village?"

Camille said calmly, if there town really did get attacked she wanted nothing of it really. And she didn't want people in the town that she knew nothing of. She knew that was just calling out for something to happen to her or the village of hers. Camille held a good heart but she cared for the people she has known for years. She did not want people that might be on the run staying here.

"We don't know! and this was the closest village we could get to!"

The man cried out again , Camille bit her lip. She believed these people yet her gut told her other wise. Camille gave a simple nod.

"Where is this town you speak of , ill go check it out."

"It is west from here miss."

Camille sighed, she knew this was going to turn out to be something she didn't want to do. Though she felt as if she had to, she nodded and turned her back and carried on. To finish her round around the village than set off to this village.

Xepher pulled out his assault rifle and shot down the kusamara blood spewed out at that exact moment his eye twitched.

Victor had begun to turn the moment the creature had entered his range of vision, which extended in all directions thanks to his Thousand Eyes. He only had one active, but that was usually enough. By the time he turned, however, flinging out a hand and opening his book again, Xepher had already blown the Kusamara to pieces. For a moment, again thanks to the Eyes, Victor thought he saw the man's eye twitch after the shot. Not many people Victor knew were so eager to kill something. Putting it down to nervousness, Victor turned his head to face Xepher despite it being unnecessary. "Ah," he said, "Looks like you've paid me back already. And you're gun seems to have recovered just in time; stalled, did it?" Victor waved a hand dismissively. The man probably didn't want to admit that he ran away. "Regardless, thank you for your help. I'd be quite glad if you joined me, actually. Though I don't really know where I'm going next...Oh, hold on,"
Without turning his head, Victor held out his arm, allowing the messenger bird to land on it. Absently, Victor replaced his book and retrieved the piece of paper and, bringing one his Eyes closer, read it aloud.

Victor smiled lightly. "Well, it looks like we have a goal now, and just in time, too." Victor folded up the piece of paper, placing it in a pocket. Next, he retrieved his book and opened it, then faced Xepher. "It's not too far, especially my way." Blue light exploded from the page in Victor's hands, and seeped into Xepher. It was a spell to enhance a person's speed, the same one he'd used on himself moments before. "We'll be there in no time," Victor assured Xepher. "Let's be off."

Geol had greeted the two newcomers to Jakara and after helping them make themselves comfortable, he returns to his post. "A War will be coming" he spoke to the woman in his chambers. She was a Lieutenant in the Nation's Army. "We must prepare for it.. did the messages get out?"

"Yes sir" the woman replied, but she was quickly cut off.

"Then where are they... damn it, the Orb Users are the only hope that this land is going to have and every second that they aren't here is another second for Von Karma to pick them off." Geol walks to the wall with his arms behind his back, looking at a large map which hangs from the wall. "We start in three days. Whether all of them are here or not. That's when we move to Step Two of the plan." The room goes silent.

Davis had arrived at Sol'nube, the kingdom hidden in the mountains. The city was built in a giant mountain and guarded by a huge wall, he only saw one entrance, a giant door that guards open. Davis walked up to the giant door and looked up at one of the two guards, "Hey! can I gain entrance to the city?" The guards readied their weapons as they barely noticed the boy, "It's too late, come back tomorrow morning with your papers, boy." One of the guards said in response.
"No, that wont do at all..." Davis said with a sigh. A blink of an eye later he was on the wall behind the guard that spoke, Davis swung his scythe at the back of the man's neck and his head came flying off, the other guard quickly sounded an alarm. Davis didn't mind, it didn't matter how many came, he would kill them all. He throw his scythe at the guard and impaled him, the guard fell dead.
After retrieving his scythe he jumped down into the city and was met by more guards, with great speed Davis killed another three before they had time to even see the boy. The rest of them surrounded him and tried to charge him all at once but Davis just smiled, an electric wave quickly surrounded the boy and the guards went flying back. "Your armor is like a metal rod in a lightning storm," Davis taunted. He snapped his arm out and channeled lightning from his orb to his palm and a giant lightning bolt flew out and hit one of the guards, it chained out and hit three others, Davis laughed as the men fell dead. "Where is you champion, the orb user Alaster?!" he yelled.

Suddenly a staff hit Davis in the back causing him to stumble forward, a man jumped down from a roof top and caught the staff as it flew back, the man landed and walked slowly toward the boy, "I am here, demon...prepare to be sent back to the deepest part of hell from where you came."

Davis quickly swung around and threw lightning at Alaster, the man simply spun his staff around and the lightning seem to vanish into the staff. "My staff is made of a special metal that absorbs electricity, how unfortunate for you," the man teased. The scythe wielder growled at the man and took in his appearance looking for any sort of weakness, The man looked young but he had to be in his mid 30's he wore a white rob with a golden shash around his waist, he had on white pants and wooden monk sandals, The man had a scruffy bread and long hair that was tied back in a tail, his bangs were parted and came down almost covering both of his eyes, he was lean and tall with light skin. Davis loved his look, he was both manly and elegant, "Too bad I have to kill you...your totally hawt!" Davis said smiling. Alaster raised his eye brows at the statment, "you must be insane..." the man said.

Davis surrounded himself and darkness, "you called me demon before, I think I like that..." the boy spun around and readied his scythe then charged Alaster, Davis swung down but Alaster dodged, Davis quickly turned his body and spun his scythe and attacked again this time Alaster blocked and pushed Davis back. Alaster then went on the attack, he rushed Davis and swung his staff horizontally, Davis blocked but Alaster rolled into the boy and slammed the other side of this staff into the boys ribs. Davis stumbled to the side and was quickly swept off his feet by Alaster's staff, the man swung down aiming at Davis' face but he rolled barely missing the strike. "Back off!" Davis cried erupting in darkness, Alaster jumped back but two guards were caught in the darkness and were thrown through one of the shop's wall that were near by.

"Stand back men, I will vanquish this demon!" Alaster ordered not wanting any other guards to get in the way of another attack. The guards did as Alaster said, none of them knew what to do anyways knowing they would only get in the way if they try to help.

Davis jumped to his feet scythe in hand, he rubbed his side before getting in his fighting stance. "Aren't you going to use your orb?" the boy said in a more serious voice more focus then before.

"Why would I use such a power on a lowly demon like yourself. Your hardly with the energy," Alaster replied trying to make the boy attack in anger and rush into his death.

Davis charged in again but more focused this time, survive took over from his blood lust allowing him to think more clearly. He was most dangerous when at times where his life was on the line, he didn't fear death but hated losing.

Alaster smirked his plan had work, he really hated the idea killing a child but the boy had given his right to live the moment he killed a guard, the man readied himself for Davis' attack, he watched as the boy got closer. Alaster spun himself and spun his staff over head and attacked slamming his staff into Davis' head. The staff seemed to go straight through the boys head and Alaster quickly realized that this was only a shadow of the scythe user but before the man could reacted the shadow exploded causing the man to fly back several yards into another shadow causing it to explode the man was blown away and land on his back. Alaster opened his eyes and found Davis dropping down on top of him, his scythe was glowing with black electricity and was heading straight for him.
"Enough!" Alaster yelled. A force of energy hit Davis sending him backwards. Alaster rose to his feet his robs blowing in a wind that seemed appeared out of nowhere. "congratulations, you made me use my orb but now you will come to wish you hadn't..." the staff user was bloodied and was starting to lose his temper.

Clouds rolled over the city and lightning lit up the sky, thunder could be heard for miles and rain started to pour down and a strong gust of wind hit Davis soaking him in water.

Sol'nube, it was slowly becoming a mini-battlefield. There were dead scattered around it... what a beautiful sight. Above the city on the walls in which Guards had once stood, now stands the man in blue. Raggo has his hands placed carefully over his cane which holds the Orb of Illusions at the peak of it. The lowest and sharpest edge is pointed to the hard rock edge of the wall. His feet are leaned carelessly as his body weight is upon the cane. He seems careless, though his true intentions may be hidden still. He watches over the battlefield as the intended target seems to have turned the tide on ol' Davis. The battle would have a clear victor; if not for the secluded knowledge that not many had about Davis. Raggo simply stays quiet but with a large smirk across his face. "Come on then Davis," Raggo seems to speak to himself, "Kill this twerp and take his orb. We all know that you can." Raggo remains hidden; not even the most aware of people could spot Raggo if he did not wish to be found, and it was not yet time to reveal himself.

Davis wiped water off his face his skin was so cold now but with all the adrenalin pumping he didn't notice. The wind had never stopped blowing and the storm seemed to just hit Davis, like if a little cloud was following him. Davis looked up to see that there was a cloud over him but it wasn't little, it was only raining on him, "well this was unexpected," he mused as he stuck his left hand out to cover his face from the rain.

Alaster was furious, how did this brat do so much damage to to me? he thought to himself, his pride was starting to cloud his mind. "You will die now!" he command, he points his index finger at Davis and a huge lightning bolt fell from the sky. Davis saw it coming but there was no time to move, the lightning stuck Davis and a poof of black smoke took his place.

"Another shadow?" Alaster said looking all around trying to find Davis but he was nowhere to be found. Out of the corner of Alaster's eye he saw Davis' scythe flying toward him, he smacked it away using his staff and turned just in time to see another two shadows of Davis come flying toward him. Alaster stomped his foot against the ground and a force of energy circled around him and hit the shadows causing them to explode. "Stop play these games and come out and fight me!" Alaster yelled. Sudden Davis appeared in front of the man, he swung his scythe surrounded with black lightning down at Alaster but he threw his staff up just in time to block the attack. "This again? I thought I told you it was pointless you can't win against me boy, I am the champion of this city! I am the master of storms I am--! ." Alaster said. Just as the man was interrupted when his staff shattered in his hands and the scythe impaled him in the chest.

"But...how?" Alaster spoke in a whisper as his body started going numb, he would would've fell over but Davis kept the man standing with his scythe, blood was pouring mixing in with the water on the ground. With a twisted smile Davis spoke, "you could absorb the electricity but my darkness I mix in with the lightning was destroying your staff from the inside but none of that matters now, just fall asleep its all over now." The man tried to pull the blade of the scythe out but he was too weak, "I'll see you in hell, demon..." Alaster said before he closed his eyes and went limp. "Hell is where I'm headed but I doubt I'll see you there," Davis said knowing the man had died already.

Davis searched the man for his orb and found it on his necklace, he pulled it off and looked at the shinny orb, "The orb of storms huh?" he said dropping it into is pocket. The boy threw his scythe over his shoulder with Alaster still on the other end of the blade. He looked up and found the castle was built higher up in the mountain, it over looked the whole city. He could see the outside was lit up by torches and a figure was on the balcony and wondered if it was the king. Davis begun to walk toward the castle, guards circled around him and moved with him but didn't try to attack. The castle was still far away and they would wait for more soldiers to arrive. One of the men acted out in rage and jumped into the circle in front of Davis, "FOR SOL'NUBE!" he shouted and attacked. Davis only smiled his space orb had time to regain energy, he created a shadow then vanished, the mans blade went through the shadow and the shadow exploded killing the guards that once circled the boy.

Davis appeared in the throne room with a flash of lightning, any guards in the room were knocked out. The person on the balcony was indeed the king of Sol'nube, he turned and had a look of horror on his face, he dropped the telescope he was carrying and picked up a 2 handed sword that was leaning next to him. The king looked to be in his mid 50's and had a silver beard on his face with many battle scares, his silver hair was covered by his crown and his clothes were that of royalty. "I will not go down with out a fight!" the old warrior king shouted, he went into a fighting stance the sword between him and Davis. "Your highness," Davis said with a hint of sarcasm, "your champion has fallen and your guards lay dead on the ground of your kingdom." Davis takes his scythe from his shoulder and drops the corpse of Alaster in front of the king, the old warrior grinds his teeth, "what do you want?" he says with anger. Davis smiles "you will surrender to my lord, Von Karma and your people will fight for his cause," Davis was interrupted by the king. "We will never! I'd sooner die before I serve that fool!" Davis shrouded himself in shadow and electricity sparked the air around him, "you will surrender or I will kill every last person in this kingdom and I will make you watch, you shell be the only surviver of Sol'nube!" Davis struggles to keep from killing the old man. The kings face changes he could never allow his people to suffer, he hesitates before he drops his sword and bows his head, "I surrender," he drops to his knees and allows the crown to fall from his head. Davis calms his power and smiles once again, "awesome someone will be here with the terms of your surrender till then I suggest you relax," Davis said then turned to the throne he leans his scythe to the side and sits on the huge chair throwing his leg over the arm of the seat and relaxes, "Who do I have to kill around here to get some food?" he chimes.

Davis is extremely tired, the fight had took a lot out of him and he was glad that things went his way because he would have a hard time fighting an army now that he was so exhausted. He knew Von Karma was watching him and he would come or send someone in the next day or two so all he had to do was regain his strength before the next battle. "this chair is really comfy too bad I can't sleep with out getting a knife through my neck," he said playfully. The king still on his knees trying to figure out what his next move should be, tears fill the old kings eyes, "I failed you, my people..."

Phoenix3068
The figure, which stood having watched the encounter and the victory of Davis as well as the conquering of the city, now falls from the wall. He landed onto both his feet, leaned forward only slightly. Behind him.. another being falls. This one is younger though not much of him can be seen. It appears to be a male though his body is concealed by a cloak of some sort. Raggo holds his cane in his right hand with his fingers wrapped around it. Slowly.. he begins to approach the castle. "Looks like an early reinforcements.." Raggo's eyes turn and view around him a large amount of soldiers which take aim upon him with small arm type weapons. An elite class of soldiers? Interesting they should be here so early.. too bad that they missed their chance to strike.. Raggo seems to swing his left hand out, speaking only a few words.. "Rid me of them.."

In a flash the male behind Raggo seems to disappear with a flicker, moving at unbelievable speed. Without even a chance of site.. the man now stands at the gate, placing the broadsword back over his cloaked back. The men stand still.. in shock of the males blinding speed. Before there eyes suddenly, one of the soldiers shoulders rip open and blood spews out. The man falls back onto the ground.. dead from bloodloss within only a few seconds. Within view, all of the other soldiers begin to suffer similar fates. Each one having only a single cut through their body.. each one fatal. They fall... Covered in blood. The man's blade drips the blood of over fifty elite soldiers. Only one soldier still stands. A rookie. He begins to back away, fearful of what he has seen.

"B-But how!? Th... This is impossible! He's only one man!" The soldier quickly grabs his firearm once more and takes aim; again for Raggo. Though before he can pull the trigger.. The gun, along with his arm, are sent sliding across the ground of the city, sending a streak of blood flying out of where it was removed. The male stands above him with the broadsword once again released. The soldier begins to scream in pain and as blood squirts from where his arm once resided. The male spins his blade in his right hand, then grasps the hilt tightly. He extends the blade and points it to the man's chest.

"Let him live." Raggo speaks to his servant. "You, boy. You will go to your king... and you will tell him to deliver, this message." Raggo drops a piece of paper from his hand, just above the soldier near his still existing hand. "You should run quickly.. before you lose too much blood to stand."

The soldier follows the command of this man and quickly pulls himself back up. He holds the paper in his remaining hand and holds his arm near his waist, trying to hold back the burning pain from his severed arm. The soldier runs to the castle quickly.. to deliver the letter to his king. He pushes the doors open to the Castle of Sol'nube, falling before the throne, unweary of the one who he has landed before. The throne is taken; not by the King, but by Davis and so.. it is Davis that receives the letter, as well as an Elite Soldier's dead body as he dies just after having arrived into the throne room from severe loss of blood.

Davis took the letter from the dead soldier hand "poor guy was disarmed..." Davis looked around the room, wasn't me so who," he pondered then read the note. Fancy hand writing and perfect grammar seems familiar Davis thought thinking of Raggo. He crumbled it up and threw it on the palace floor, "blah blah blah so boring..." Davis sits back on the throne, legs spread open, his chin rests on his fist and his elbow on the arm of the chair, he points with his other arm to a guard that had been glaring at him for some time now. "hey, make yourself useful and get these corpses out of here, they're starting to creep me out. The soldier grunted before doing what he was told, Davis ignored the soldiers attitude and wondered what he should do until reinforcements arrive.

"Let's be off." Xepher gave Victor a knod and he started to run off towards Jakara he kepped his speed to a standard for a normal person with enhanced speed. In his mind he couldn't wait to start killing he could have taken Victor out but he liked a challenge and he liked to kill multiple things. To take his mind off of it he started to talk to Victor talking would calm him. "Victor it is real late if anything we might make it there by tommorrow hopefully we won't be attacked if that were the case we would be slowed down." Xepher wanted to get there quick so he made sure that they wouldn't be attacked the aura he projected alerted every creature near not to come towards them. "So Victor tell me something about yourself"

Regelion shook the mans hand looking around it seemed like him and Madison wghere the first people there. He hated being early, Goel made them comfortable before he left. But Regelion still had so much energy he wanted to burn off so he wanted to go down into the forest to fight some creatures. He liked to train the reason he trained is to make sure he would suitable to be Madisons husban because if he wasn't able to protect her then he failed as her fiance. But he felt if she couldn't take out an easy enemy then she would have to train hard to be suitable to be his wife. He walked over to Madison kissed her on her for head and said something to her. "Ill be back don't wait up gotta do something so you don't need to make yourself too sexy tonight even thought your sexy everynight Love you." Regelion walked out of where Madison was towards the edge of Jakara he had seen a bunch of Inu roaming around the forest. Regelion took a deep breath and instead of letting Jakara teleport him back down he jumped pulling out his weapons in mid air. The Inu looked up just in time to see Regelions blade slice it in half he used his Kama to stod his fall and began attacking the Inu in the area.

The Next Day

Regelion laied against a tree in the forest as the sun began to rise to a new day it was around 6am and he was covered in Inu blood. He was kind of tired but it didn't faze him in front of him was a pile of inu 7 feet hight. Regelion pointed his hand at the pile of Inu and they burst into fire and began to trun into dust he was happy he made it safer for people to pass throught the area without being attacked by Inu. Regelion stood up and was instantly telelported back to the city of Jakara it didn't faze anyone thart he was covered in blood they Believed Goddess Makku would save him. He walk to the room Geol left them in and he headed straight to the shower.

Victor nodded to Xepher at the request. The man was right, it was still a ways to Jakara. He decided to voice the theory he'd been working on. "I suppose a story could help pass the time. Very well. If it would interest you, I've been thinking about this Von Karma figure. I believe he is the one to blame for my blindness."
Victor gestured to his his blindfold, with the barely visible streaks of blackness running beneath the cloth.
"It was shortly after the first Orbs appeared, and before the creatures of Deru turned against us. I'd discovered an Orb, one I now know to be a Dark Orb, and tried to study it. I managed to learn several techniques with it, even combining it wih my magic. I was performing a routine experiment when it happened."
Victor sighed and touched the blindfold. He felt the magic weaved into it under his fingertips, a protective spell that could guard against hostile forces. His Thousand Eyes floated nearby, the only things that could allow him to see.
"I can only assume that Von Karma was performing his own experiments at the same time. You see, when I tried to use the Dark Orb, I felt a presence; it was an outside influence, and it did something to me. I fear that it was the Desolation Orb that Makku spoke of. The day the creatures of Deru attacked was the same day lost my sight. The Dark Orb just...reacted. Maybe Von Karma and I were doing the same thing, I don't know. But the Dark Orb was acting strange, so I tried to control it, call it back to myself."
Victor forced himself to take a deep breath.
"It did come back, and hit me. Right between the eyes. And then it...well, I'm not sure. All I know is that when I woke up, the Orb was gone, and I couldn't see."
With a growl, Victor forced the next words out. It was clear he longer cared about passing the time. He just wanted this off his chest.
"I later learned that it was still with me. It fused with me, inside my head, through my eyes. Anything I looked at was blasted with dark power, and I couldn't see what was happening. I hurt people. I listened to their screams. And the Orb in my head didn't even allow me to cry for them! I couldn't help them. I couldn't heal them. My magic suffered; I couldn't read my spellbooks. I was a book mage who couldn't even read! But I did manage to make this blindfold. It keeps the Dark Orb at bay, and keeps me from hurting people. I taught myself to read despite my blindness; it's my own system, a way to put raised dots on the paper and feel them. I studied more, asking help from anyone I could. That's how I got my other Orbs. The Illusion Orb could help me see, so I mastered it quickly. The Time Orb I found with help."
At that point Victor realized he was rambling, and to a man he'd just met, too. He didn't think the man would even care, but Victor still felt relieved from just saying it. He felt as if he wasn't alone somehow, now that someone else knew his story.
"Um, sorry," Victor finished awkwardly. "But I made a vow not to fail myself or anyone else again. Von Karma did this to me, and I have to kill him to keep that vow. I will kill him."

After that, Victor stayed mostly silent. They reached Jakara the next morning, and Victor settled into the room given him by Geol, exchanging only the smallest amounts of conversation. He couldn't explain it, but now Victor felt more vulnerable than ever. He'd opened himself up more than he ever had before, so maybe it was normal, but he still shake the feeling that something wasn't quite right.

Speculum sat unmovingly in front of the small tornado that had formed during the ritual. He was dressed in the flowing cloth of Tempest. The rune covered second skin was manufactured in a way that made it so light that few people noticed it while wearing it. But on the downside it provided practically no protection from physical harm at all. Speculum's eyes were closed and for once he seemed at peace with himself and the world. The cave he was sitting in, disconnected one from the outside of the world. Usually the wind would have howled in and out of the cave through masterfully placed holes in the rock. But now the wind rushed into the cave from all holes to form the tornado that swirled about only a few centimeters away from Speculum. The art of wind smithery was hard to master and only practiced by leaders. Slowly the tornado became man-sized. Speculum opened his eyes and stood up. The wind stopped completely now, only the tornado was still moving. Without hesitation Speculum stepped forward into the cone of wind.

When their new leader stepped out of the cave of the thousand winds, the villagers of Tempest bowed deeply. He was clad in entirely white armour, which stood in a contrast with the black Tempest silk and cape. On his back was a blade that gleamed in the rising sun. Speculum's face was free of armour and his eyes swept over his hunters. Then the crowd parted and he walked back to the center of the platforms. Two figures awaited him there: the eldest and the windtamer. He took his place to the right of his grandfather as the ceremonial words were spoken: "The eldest shall raise our children. The leader shall command them on the hunt. The windtamer shall bond them with the wind and teach them of respect for their prey." Those were their tasks. Speculum now was what others might call Tempest's general.

The New Day

Naiyao had come a long way from Merecrest after the long battle. Her memories had served as strong reminders why she had to keep moving and never stop. Her horse was well fed when they had set out that morning. As the sound of the horse's hooves rode hard against the path, Naiyao's eyes had opened. Her horse came to an abrupt halt. As she looked over the fields in the distance... she saw a terrifying sight. "Is this an effect of Von Karma's influence..?" She did not think to wait as there would be nobody to answer. She turned her path and rode directly for Jakara, off the beaten path. Time was running out.

Madison hardly slept at all she was worried about Regelion the whole night, the room that she was staying in was huge it was as big as their home in the village, the beds linen was the softest she'd ever felt and the decor of the room was beautiful but she could only think about the trouble her love could be in, he some times was over zealous and that got him into trouble most times. With a sigh she paced back in forth trying to resist the temptation of going out and making sure he was alright, he was a man and he had to have his own space some times, she knew that but still Rege acted like a child some times and needed her to bail him out of situations he caused. Madisons ears picked up when she heard Regelion walk in the door and straight of the shower, he was covered in blood that didn't smell like his and he seemed to be in one piece. Madison walked to the bathroom door and leaned against it, "Hey, Rege I'm going out for a bit to look around the shops, meet me when your down." Madison said then left the room.

For Xepher he felt Death was the answer to most of lifes questions and he loved to be the guy who delivers it. They had finally reached Jakara the next day and Xepher was amazed Von Karma had sent Inu and other creatures to help find the location of Jakara but non where able to find it not even those who flew. It seemed the Jakara was hidden with a invisible senseless magic wall. Xepher knew it was almost time to start his rampage buyt he wanted make sure everyone was around him so they will be able to see the others die before there very eyes. After being shown his room by Geol he took out his assualt rifle and started taking it apart and putting it back together.

The gauntlet was very important to him it was given to him by his father before he passed away. After suiting up he walked outside and spotted his lover he creaped up on her from behind and held her around her waist his head caressed next to hers holding both their bodies close together as he whispered in her ear. Naiyao had rode fast toward Jakara, not allowing herself to break for rest nor food. The hooves of her horse struck hard against the ground which left prints of its movement in the soft sections of the ground. Naiyao's eyes were set, her mind was set, her very dedication was locked on the thought of the Revolution.

After a great time of traveling.. Her body broke the invisibility defense aura that Jakara had sent out when she passed it (this does not literally break it, she simply entered it). Jakara could not be seen by anything more than a mile away from its border. Within Jakara, there was a faint light, as if something mythic were soon to happen. Naiyao seemed distrusting as she saw this but continued to ride for the right intervention point. Soon later, she was within reach of its grasp and a divine light seemed to shine over her body. She disappeared into the light along with her horse.

Upon reappearing, she now stood within the center of Jakara. Beautiful she thought. She began to walk forward to move into the town further but was caught by a voice that she heard from a short distance. It was a familiar voice.

"Naiyao!" called Geol with a proud shout. It was her long time comrade in the Nations Army, Geol. Sense the beginning of Von Karma's Revolt against the Goddess Makku, Geol had begun his own revolution.. against Von Karma. He had sent countless letters to the colonies in search of Naiyao as he knew that the Alliance would need her assistance. After finally making contact with the letters while in Kadavar, she responded back in urgent mail to Geol stating the condition of the Army and of the new worlds order. They had in secrecy been planning this meeting for a great deal of time. Geol approaches Naiyao with open arms and greets her with a hug. She accepts this and hugs him back. After making physical contact, they step back and perform the traditional greeting of those among the Nation's Army. "So I take it as your journey here was enjoyable?"

"I can't say it didn't have its moments.. but there is no time for this now" Naiyao quickly begins to remember why she is there. "Geol, have the others arrived?"

"I have sent word out to the others." Geol states to her. "A few of the Orb Users have arrived already, and I have sent word to the City Rulers who are in our favor. But for now we only have Kadavar and Merecrest."

Naiyao begins to think for a moment, then turns toward him quickly with an idea. "Has a boy named Victor yet arrived?"

"Yes" responds Geol, Naiyao gives him no time after to say anything else.

"He is from the village of Tarenhold I believe." Naiyao seems to unfold a plan to Geol, and he listens. It is easily seen the confidence that he has in her, as most of the other soldiers have had. "Have you yet contacted the outer Colonies and requested their aid like I asked you previously?"

"We have attempted.. yet still no response." Naiyao becomes on edge because of this. Why would they not respond? This was an uncertain matter yes, but the country would have to band together to fight this threat.

"Call an assembly of all those present in Jakara." Naiyao begins to revise her previously made plans. "We have to get more cities on our side before we even begin the revolution."

"Right, I'll get started on it immediately." They both bow to each other once more and part ways. Naiyao directs herself toward the public rest area to calm herself for a few moments while an announcement goes out throughout the Jakara. All residents hear the announcement.

"All Citizen's of Jakara. An Urgent meeting will be held in the square in precisely Thirty Minutes. Again, this is an Urgent Meeting. Thank you."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Raggo's plans are going perfectly. The best thing of it all is that nobody has a clue of his actions or what the truth behind his plan is. He rides now in his carriage toward the Shrine of Diana. This was an unmarked location on any map and it held no significance to many people.. So what would it possibly have for a man like Raggo? He grins evily as he plans out his next several moves.

The Scenario
Victor knelt in the middle of a circle of salt. Seven candles burned in a starlike pattern around him, their positions alternating between inside and outside the circle. An open book sat in front of Victor, and with it were the remainder of Victor's Orbs. Time and Illusion. They were both inactive, so the Thousand Eyes were gone for now. Victor was in darknes and he had no need to see it. He still wore the blindfold, unable to risk removing it and exposing the world to his curse.
Their power of the Orbs was useful, but it was all Victor could do to hold on to them. There was always the contant fear that something would happen that would worsen his condition. But the Orbs were his only way to see the world, the only things keeping him able to function. With them, he could read. With them, he could perform his magic.
Victor jumped when he heard the announcement, then decided he had enough time to finish his meditation. "I'll be getting there..." he murmured to himself. When the time came, Victor stood up and proceeded to clean the room, replacing the candles where they belonged and clearing the salt. He again felt charged, as these rituals were slowing increasing his magical capacity. It was time for the meeting, Victor supposed. He started off, finding the square easily enough. "So," he said to himself. "What's going on here?"

Madison smiled, she could smell Regelion from a mile away not to mention if a stranger had put a hand on her their hand would be nothing but ash. "and I you," she whispered back letting him hold for a moment longer before stepping out of his loving arms. She was looking at some small trinkets and jewelery before Regelion had came, she was interested in a few but she had no time for useless things such as jewelery they were just fun to look at or at least she told herself that.
Twenty minutes past after the announcement. "Hmm...It's almost time lets find our way to the meeting love," Madison said. She knew they were not citizen's of Jakara but she felt they should go and help if they needed. They soon found themselves in the square with some others but one stands out, a man with a blind fold over his eyes.

Phoenix3068
As the residents who stand within Jakara meet in the square, Geol approaches. He finds a curiosity at the actions of others, as it would seem that some of the orb users feel that they do not belong yet came anyways. He thought over what he should say. The battle may not begin today but if the war was to be won, they would have to begin their next moves immediately. Geol stepped forward onto a platform which several Followers of the Goddess stood. He walked toward the edge of it. For a moment he closed his eyes.

"People of Jakara.." he said with at first a soft voice. Quickly, his voice began to gain tone, as if he would rise to confidence. He spoke with a strong and confident tone. "A dark time is upon us. A war is coming, but this is not a war between two nations.. This is a war of Fate.. On one side of fate is the light that shines above, the Goddess Makku who watches over and protects us all. She has appeared to us and asked us for our help. On the other side, stands the dreaded foe known only as Von Karma.. who would see us all dead or enslaved!"

Geol takes a quick breath, then crosses his arms. He stares at the men and women who stand before him. More have arrived.. not just Followers of the Goddess, but Orb users and even people who are here who have no where else to go. He looks out at their faces and he is inspired.

"I used to be known as one of the greatest generals of the Deru Army. I served to protect the everyone, because I was a soldier." He stands like an official at first, but his stance shifts. He seems more casual now, less like a soldier.. and more like a being with pride. "But this is no more. Now, I am a man. A man who would give his life to protect Deru from anyone who may see to cause it harm. I do not call you here today to join in a Battle of Blood and Glory.. I do not call you here, to fight against a threat for victory. I call you here to ask you to fight, for the lives and the freedom of those whom you love.. To fight against the forces that Von Karma will send against us and to bring back the Deru that we know and love! I have known many of you for years, and some of you I am meeting for only the first time. I will not force you to fight beside me. If you do not wish to fight, I will not make you leave. I gladly offer you a home in Jakara and I will still raise my blade to protect you from this dark foe. But if you do choose to join in the fight... Then we shall fight, and fight hard. We shall break the hold that Von Karma keeps on this land and we will restore the peace that Deru so rightly deserve..." Geol finishes speaking and he waits to see if anyone has anything to say.

starryknight
Madison felt inspired by Geol speak, her warrior blood was now pumping through out her body and now she was itching for a battle and she knew Regelion would fell the same way. In truth Madison rather peace over war but there is no peace as long as someone like Von Karma had power. Madison through her fist in the air and yelled, "FOR DERU!" many of the people in the square followed her example and yelled out as well. Madison was glad to see the people standing up to fight for there freedom and fight for there peace.

A young mage from Sol'nube appeared in the mages quarters, she is badly injured but still stands. Her robes of white and yellow were stained with blood and the crest of Sol'nube on her chest was slashed and covered in blood. She holds grim news from her kingdom and had to speak to some one fast, she walked out of the building she appeared in and made her way to the town square using her staff to help keep her from falling. It was not long when she made it to the edge of the crowd, she tried to make herself known but people were so loud in their cheer that they did not take notice, the mage felt a wave of pain go up her body it hurt so bad that it caused her to lose balance and fall to the ground. Madison noticed the mage in the corner of her eye and rushed to the fallen woman, she then noticed the mage was soaked in blood and badly wounded. Madison went to her knees and looked over the womans injuries the worst one was the slash on her chest, she ripped the robe open and took a piece of it and applied pressure on the wound, a woman civilian finally noticed and screamed for help the cheers quiet down and healers start rushing over. "Don't worry you'll be ok," Madison speaks to the woman to trying keep her calm. The mage grabs on to a strap around Madison's chest and pulls her close to her face, "I'm not important... I need you to give a message to General Geol right now, tell him Sol'nube has fallen to Von Karma...the people have formed a rebellion but we are being slaughter by a powerful orb user that wields a scythe." The mage moans in pain and Madison is pushed aside by the healers as they work to try to save the mage. Madison leaves Regelion in the crowd and starts to jump over the people and makes to Geol side, she tells the General everything the mage told he"What should we do?" she asks the man hoping he would know.

__________________________

Davis stands out side of the destroyed mages quarters of Sol'nube, he tried to them from sending a massager but failed. The mages blew the room up in an attemp to take Davis' life with them but the scythe wielder was able to port to the safely away.
Von Karma had sent men and creatures to the city to ensure their fall but the men started to attack the towns people and the creatures started to feed on them as well. Thats when the city formed a rebellion and tried to storm the castle. Davis quickly pushed them back littering the palace floor with blood and corpses, Davis didn't mind the blood shed but Von Karma's men acted like dumb asses and now they had to fight to regain control over the city when he'd already conquered it. Davis was deep in thought when the leader of the dumb asses came to report the situation of the cities rebellion, "Sir the rebellion were pushed back the the cities gates, they surrendered and now we hold them captive, what shell we do with them?" the man asks. "Kill them all, so the rest of the city what happens when they try to fight back," Davis says not hesitating in his decision. The man bows and hurries to sand the message of death, Davis walks back to his throne room now surrounded by creatures and Von Karma's men, they cheer for Davis but this only annoys the boy. "Your a monster, the goddess shell purge you all from this world!" the king yells fighting against his chains. Davis looks furious and walks to the fallen king, "the goddess? she is selfish and only acts when she is threaten! where was she when I slaughter your men and took the throne! where is she now when her followers blood soak the streets of your ruined kingdom!" Davis yells showing his anger. "and what will you Lord Von Karma do once he is ruler? will he protect his followers or will he enslave them and kill the ones who refuse?!" the king lashes back. Davis balled is hand into a fist but holds his wrath, "take this man to the dungeon I will not tolerate his foolishness no longer!" Davis turns and walks to the throne as four men take the king out of the throne room. Von Karma is a fool to think he would ever rule this world, the man is just a means to an end, Davis thinks to himself sitting on his throne once more.

The Scenario
Victor reacted instantly, moving towards the injured woman. He called another of his Thousand Eyes into existence and instructed it to zoom in on her wounds. Victor moved closer and was forced to shove one of the other healers out of the way, with a quick apology. "I know how to heal this," he said quickly. He looked at the wounds, quietly dreading what he was seeing. "She said a man with a scythe; I know him and his work." The wounds were slightly edged with black, and burned. Only one scythe Victor knew could do that. It was a Dark Orb, combined with a Lightning Orb, and difficult to heal. Luckily, Victor knew the Dark Orb, and his healing magic was top notch, however much good it did on his eyes. Victor placed his hands on the wounds, and channeled power into them, closing them. He wrestled with the burns and dark power, and worked a counterspell into the healing. Eventually, the wounds were completely eliminated. "Get somewhere safe," Victor said. With a quick gesture, he infused the Illusion Orb into a spell, and mimicked the robe the woman had been wearing before Madison tore it open to examine the wounds. "The clothes aren't real," he whispered so that only the woman could hear. "They'll last for a day at most, so I'd gets some more soon."
Victor stood up, and rushed over to Madison and Geol. "Sol'nube, was it? We have to get there as soon as possible. Von Karma won't take another city while I still live. Sorry I couldn't stay long." Victor started off, intending to simply walk ti Sol'nube, alone if necessary. "I won't fail," he growled.

Phoenix3068
Geol calls out to Victor. "Wait.." he speaks with sympathy for the woman and the city that has fallen. There was still hope, he could see it in the mages eyes. He turned to Naiyao who stood not far away, then approached the group. Geol crossed his arms with a look of justice in his eyes. "I agree that we need to reclaim Sol'nube, but we need to be smart about it." Geol examines the crowd as well as the Orb Users. He came up with an idea. Soon, he began to read out his plan as if from a book to the group.

"We have two targets now, where we had only one before. The City of Malvior has recently been claimed by Von Karma's men. That was the location we planned to take back first, but time is of the essence now. I suggest that we split up our forces into two teams.. One team goes to Malvior and another goes to Sol'nube. We'll take two cities back at once and crush Von Karma's forces as well as build morale." Geol lays out the plan carefully. He describes to the group the conditions of both cities.

"We should keep teams small to minimize structural damage and keep stealth in key. Team one will consist of these two and myself." Geol directs attention to Regelion and Madison. "We will head for the city of Malvior. If something is not done soon, many of the citizens may be dead before we can make a move. Team two will consist of this these two boys and Naiyao. They will head towards Sol'nube." He had been referring to both Xepher and Victor. "All others in the area should acquaint themselves and prepare. Before we target Von Karma, we will need to free the cities he has under his control. Does anyone have any problems with this arrangement?"

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The doors do not seem to open but before Davis' very eyes as he sits at the throne, Raggo appears. He stands just next to the doors, looking at the male and a wicked smirk appears across his face. "Ah.. The Scythe user known as Davis. I congratulate you on your splendid kills." Raggo does not get too close, being sure to remain across the room from the male. He taps his cane lightly on the hard floor thrice. His cold eyes wander through the throne room and with a seemingly sarcastic tone he addresses Davis again. "Surely, you intend to turn over control of this Palace and all of Sol'nube to Lord Von Karma."

starryknight
Davis sits on the throne unamused by Reggo, the man had no business in Sol'nube and he hated his vocabulary. "go away Reggo this has nothing to do with you, why don't you go write a fancy letter to someone that cares." Davis waved his hand shooing the man like a pest, his other hand finds is scythe just in case the flower man wanted to rumble. Davis sighs expecting the man to not let up and he knew if he killed Reggo Von Karma would throw a fit, "of coarse I'm going to hand over this dumb, why on earth would I do other wise...are you up to something?" Davis raises his brow at the man he is defiantly up to something he thought.

Madison nods her head in agreement, "I'm fine with that. as long as Regelion is." Madison said ready to leave at that moment, they had no more time for words the longer they stayed the more innocent live would be in danger.

Phoenix3068
Perfect, as Raggo had intended, Davis became suspicious. He began to walk forward though with no intent of harm coming to any inside of the throne room. He stops mere feet from Davis and allows his malicious smirk to cast a shadow of deceit over the prominent male. Raggo had an eye for the intentions of others; as if he could see and reverse the manner at which one may send and re-send, there by making the being whom looked at him with a manner of friendship feel as if they hate him greater than any other. Raggo simply smiled at Davis and began thinking of ways he could harvest this into a victory. "A Fancy Letter you say? Ohh, I may decide to entice this educated assumption of my overall being. The provocative means of your newly obtained demeanor makes me increasingly favored to the enjoyable means of your company. However, I must comply with you're decision and continue the variable assignment of our dear Lord." His words sparked. He had awaited an infuriation exertion from Davis as his demeaning eyes hinted at a previously mentioned notion. He did not move, he simply gazed at Davis for a few moments.

The Scenario
Victor stopped in his tracks, but didn't turn around. An Eye floated just over his shoulder, shaking furiously. "No problems," was all he managed to say. Victor knew he couldn't have done much of anything alone, not against the scythe weilder and an army of Von Karma's creatures and servants. But as long as they were together, Naiyao, Xepher, and he, they would be alright. Victor thought back to his first real fight, and the first real defeat he'd suffered. He regretted being forced to run away, leaving Naiyoa alone to face the gunman, Speculum. She'd gotten out fine, but if it hadn't been for Makku's intervention, Victor wasn't sure what would have happened to any of them. Tarenhold would have been lost. Even now, it was still protected by the barrier Victor had strengthened and held, a testament to its near destruction. Now, Victor had been given another chance, and he swore he would not fail again. Sol'nube...

"I have all I need for the trip," Victor said, finally turning around. Several dozen Eyes popped into existence above Victor before proceeding to speed away in different directions. He still kept one hovering over his shoulder, though it didn't seem as erratic as it had been before. "I'm scouting ahead; anything tries to get in the way, I'll know about it. We should leave as soon possible, and I apologize again for the short stay."

Phoenix3068
Naiyao places her right hand back onto the hilt of her own weapon. Something odd is happening.. she shakes off the feeling of paranoia. "We'll be departing now Geol, please take care of the others.." She turns and begins her departure, walking to the edge of the city grounds. She leans forward and looks off the far edge of the platform to what would be the ground which rests so far below. "Xepher, catch up with Victor.. I'll be traveling there my own way.." Naiyao shook her head a few times to shake off any possible hesitation that may lurk in the back of her mind, then she moved her body back a bit. As she let her body adjust to the idea, she sprinted. She leaped from the high point of the cities edge and spread out her arms, seeming to momentarily float but she quickly begins to descend. Her hair is pulled back by the wind as she glides through the air toward the ground, seeming to move in a bit of an aerodynamic manner. As she rapidly begins to approach the ground, her target appears.. a Tao. It was a lone Tao, that seemed to have been split from its group earlier. Naiyao moved herself over a point of the ground that she would choose to land at, though as she had planned the Tao's flight path is directly across it and she lands safely above it, grabbing onto it tightly to keep herself on it. "Grr!" she growls with a fiery desire to stay attached, the air pressure at which gathered the second that she caught hold increased tremendously. She began to pull back on it, as one would with a flying vehicle and it rose into the air sharply! She soared through the air on board the flying beast and shifted. She knew her destination.. now she just had to make sure that this thing took her there. If her calculations ran correctly (which they generally tend to) she would arrive roughly 63 minutes before Victor could; if he were to travel at high speeds.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Raggo sits within his carriage with a grin. He questions the actions of Davis and the future actions of Von Karma himself. damn.. if I allow Von Karma to have control of the city then I will lose valuable tactical advantage.. Wait.. "Hehe.. Perfect." Raggo begins to write a note. He carefully words it to gain the attention of its reader in a most desirable way. Afterward, he opens the fenced window of the carriage and holds it out. A shadow quickly seems to pass by it and the note disappears. As the shadow spreads quickly, the note seems to reappear.. though not anywhere of clear view. It appeared to Speculum. Though the note was not meant to read. It quickly began to dissolve into darkness, which seeped into the mind of Speculum. The note was silent though it spoke in an eerie voice and tone. It spoke to Speculum from within his own mind.

"She's going (she's going)
Find herrrr (find herrr)
Don't lettt the prey es-cape!!"
"Wherrre.. (wherree)
Sol'nube (sol'nube)
Sollllllll'nuubbbbeee.."
"Get herrrr... Get herrrr..."
"Whoo,,, (whooo) whooo.."
"Naiyao!"

The voice loudly echo'ed the name within the ears of Speculum and it replayed the message. It continued to play this message while it dug at his memories, the memories of the scar left by her, the memories of how she defeated him so easily, the memories of the hunt. It entices him, gives him the strong craving to hunt her.

Bladewind
Speculum let his eyes close as the words echoed in his mind. He tried to resist the weird magic that was seducing him into following the words whispered to him. His eyebrow twitched in annoyance, what was this? Frustrated, he got up and started pacing up and down the small room. His eyes were still closed and the enticing words didn't stop swirling around his mind. The struggle finally over, Speculum stepped out of the building and onto one of the many platforms. He took a deep breath and exhaled again. When he opened his eyes they were alive with hunger. How could he possibly forget Naiyao? She was his prey!

His lips parted and Speculum bared his teeth and snarled ferally. Naiyao would be his and nobody would stop him! Without hesitation he strode towards the platform where the Tao were held. Hunters parted for him, bowing their heads in respect but Speculum didn't pay them any heed. The eldest watched his grandson with worry but didn't act, knowing that Speculum wouldn't listen. The old man sighed and dissappeared into his house to govern the village. Before he could mount his Tao Speculum was addressed by one of their scouts: "Master! While on patrol I spotted a young woman commit an unbelievable sin! She dared to mount a Tao!" Speculum frowned at the scout's report. Nobody was permitted to ride the creatures of the skies except for the windriders.

"Lead me to this sinner!" Speculum had a feeling that he knew who the young woman was. The scout hesitated: "But... Shouldn't we take a few windriders with us?" Speculum glared at him with crazed eyes: "Do I look like I need anybody's help?" The scout shrunk away from the enraged leader and mounted his Tao as Speculum did the same. They set out towards Naiyao, the leader of Tempest burning with anticipation. When they saw the outline of another Tao iin the distance The scout whispered something to his mount and it let out a cry that could be referred to as a sort of summoning. Speculum's Tao remained silent and waited for Naiyao's mount to respond. It's rider stared at the distant prey with a unnatural edge to his hunger for prey.

Back at Tempest the eldest sadly shook his head, with a single tear running down his cheek. Before him was the list of maddened ones. A magically created or enforced hunger for prey often resulted in the hungering one losing part of his humanity and becoming a wild animal. The maddened ones were those that became little more than a creature of the wilderness and had to be slain.

Phoenix3068
Naiyao's eyes widened as the Tao began to jerk and let out a responding call. It pulled against her demands, she knew this must mean something was wrong. Naiyao moved her hand back behind her waist to grasp the hilt of a weapon.. her long sword which was claimed in the city of Kadavar. She looked around fiercly as if anticipating an attack from any direction. This was not the best time.. she had no experience in aerial combat and if she should be required to meet a foe, she would be at a large disadvantage. She awaited and kept her blade sheathed, waiting for the moment when her pursuer may show themselves.

Bladewind
Speculum grinned and raced towards Naiyao, not caring about the scout. His teeth were bared as the air whipped past him. He had nearly forgooten how much he loved this. He drew his sword and whirled it in a circle. His eyes were wide in anticipation. When he reached the area in which he could be sure that his prey could hear him he yelled her name: "NAIYAO!!!" He didn't pause to listen for a response, instead flying straight towards the other Tao. A small trickls of blood led down his face where he had bit his lip. Speculum let his mount come to a halt in front of Naiyao's and he looked at her with his crazed eyes. Inside his head the whispers became yells and cries. A small, still conscious part of Speculum finally recognised them to be Raggo's but the majority of the hunter's mind was bent on killing. Speculum licked his lips, tasting his own blood and pointed his blade at Naiyao: "DIE!!!" With that he lept from one Tao to the other. Although he had learned the manouver so many years ago he executed it perfectly.

Raggo's message still swimming about in his thoughts, manipulating him, Speculum lost all of his finesse and respect for Naiyao, his two main attributes lost to the hunger and replaced by brute force. The hunter charged at his prey without caution, the voices inside his head driving him into a frenzy: "DIE!!!"

Phoenix3068
A voice now ran through Naiyao's mind. The voice shouted 'Defend yourself!' and Naiyao brought herself up quickly, standing on the back of the Tao, though keeping low. She ripped the blade from her scabbard which left a trace of Lightening energy; seeming to be irradiating from the orb around her neck. She brings her arm forward with the blade held backwards and strikes the blade hard against the weapon that Speculum holds, attempting to drive him back. The power that meets between the two leaves an explosive power that is sent out, seeming to vibrate through the air. The sheer force keeps the two of them separate yet keeps them pressed in a battle.. Naiyao can feel her feet sliding back.

Bladewind
"DIE!!!" Speculum ignored the strange result of the two blades making contact and pressed on to get past Naiyao's defense. Again and again he struck at the young woman but she parried all of his moves. He quickly became frustrated and his strikes became more and more driven by brute force. All the while he repeats the one word he had been saying since he spotted Naiyao: "DIE!!!" But his attacks were clumsy and increasingly easy to block or dodge. But that made him even more furious. His eyes were glazed with the unnatural hunger caused by Raggo's whipers. Voices were screaming at him to finally end this, to kill his prey and drink her blood like the finest wine, to tear at her fle-

Wait a second! Speculum staggered away from Naiyao in horror nearly falling of the Tao. Those thoughts, those wishes, those desires. They weren't his! His eyes became clear again as his mind did as well. He growled in fury as he became aware of the fact that he had been manipulated so easily. Only one person could do such a thing. Raggo! But that was something for another time. He let his sword slice through the air in a complicated pattern, the opening flourish he had seen his father use so many times to begin a fight. It was designed to look good while not only ending in a starting stance but being a defensive manouvre as well. It was fairly easy to parry nearly all possible offensive moves just in case the opponent decided to fight unfairly and attack before the flourish was finished.

"I apologise for my former... Simplicity and rudeness. I wasn't quite myself. Now that I'm over it we can truly begin. Are you prepared or do you want a change of some kind? I wouldn't feel comfortable to defeat you while having an advantage other than just being superior." Speculum smiled at his prey, fully himself again.

Davis looks bored at Raggo hiding his rage knowing that this manipulating jerk was just trying to get a reaction out of him. Then the boy realizes Raggo's tactic but still clouded to the reason behind them. Davis' grins devising his own twisted tactic "we all seem to be busy all the time running around destroying stuff for Von Karma, its kinda stressing me out." Davis' expression changed from sinister to seductive in less then a second. "you look kinda stressed too, why don't you come sit next to me, this throne is awfully lonely and with Speculum away I don't have anyone to play with." Davis says making darkness cover his finger and shaping it as a sharp knife, he runs it down his black shirt and carefully cuts it reveling the smooth white skin underneath. "but I must warn, I do bite," Davis said running the black knife across his chest letting blood spill from a small cut then putting it to his mouth and licking the blood off. This made everyone of the men in the room uncomfortable so much it almost made him giggle but instead he gestured for the men to leave and the complied with no hesitation.

Regelion didn't really know what was going on but he did know it screamed adventure. He was pumped up and ready to go. "Baby you already know i'm game as long a it screams adventure and a challenge. But first I have to get something ill be back." Regelion walked away towards the store that his lover was looking at and something caught his eye and he bought it in an instant. After leaving the store he gathered some of the things he would most likely need on his journey. Regelion met up with Madison and Geol ready and rearing to go he ran off with his last word trailing behind him "Don't be a bunch of slow pokes and lets go." He then jumped off the edge of Jakara doing three flips before reaching out to grab a strong tree branch spinning around the branch. He sat on top of the tree branch and leaped to a vine swing to another speeding through the forest around Jakara.

Xepher was upset to have his chance to take out the orb users but he didn't he decided to change his plan he was going to take out Naiyao and Victor. There were too many orb users then he anticipated and to many people he would have a harder time killing everyone. But soon as he got the chance he would tell Von Karma about the location of Jakara so that he would kill or make them his followers. But Xepher knew that they where Makkus worshipers meaning they will not worship Von Karma meaning they will be killed it made him smile on the inside. "So Victor it seems like its just going to be me and you till Naiyao meets up with us so shall we go." Xepher started to walked way from Victor he had everything he needed already with him. He walked towards the egde of Jakara and was instantly teleported down into the forest clearing and in the center was a pile of black sud. He bent down and smelled it it was burnt Inu Flesh he didn't see it on his way in but he had finally noticed it. He thought it was a bit odd that there were no creatures at night when he came and he knew why.

Naiyao staggers a bit from the repetitive strikes from Speculum's blade. This was insane.. though it was clear that he was either an amateur or highly out of practice and Naiyao had an advantage in that manner. Despite this, she rested her arms now with the blade held low and her body in exhaustion. Damn.. she thought. I still have not yet recovered from the fight in Merecrest.. She thinks at what he says though continues to stay on guard. Finally, she takes a deep breath and pushes her blade back, holding it in only her right hand for a moment and looks at her opponent, Speculum. She closes her eyes for a few seconds and speaks.. though her guard still rests just in case. "You fight for Von Karma, but why? He will be the death of Deru.. Speculum, you see me as a prey.. why too see Deru as something that should meet an untimely end? Why not.. help us, stop this man..." she waits for a moment, waiting to see what his answer will be.

Davis kept his anger in check but Raggo was making it nearly impossible, just the man's face expressions pissed the scythe holder off to no ends.

Raggo ignored the gesture as he saw the glimmer in Davis' eye. He knew that there was a bastardly act behind it; though he was intrigued by the action. "Ah Davis, as much as I would take enjoyment from accepting your generous eccentric offer, I have work to indulge my time in. Please take no grievous meaning from the most invalid movement of mine." with this, Raggo walks from the castle doors with a smirk, though he soon fades as revealed to be an illusion. Far away as he rides down the road in his carriage, he begins to speak to himself. "Soon, the Resistance will arrive and they will overthrow Davis. Of course, Von Karma should soon have his forces arrive there as well. Perhaps Von Karma himself will even make an appearance. However, another battle will soon take place.. With all of this happening, soon Von Karma's movement will be in disarray.. and I will make my move.." The sinister Raggo laughed in his carriage, his plan was full proof. He loved the chaos that had already resulted from his words.

"Why I serve von Karma?" Speculum looked at Naiyao quizzically. Then he smiled at her: "Because under his command I can hunt prey until my death. Not animal prey, human prey!" He tok a step towards his prey before thinking differnet of igniting the fight. She seemed to be out of air and as he had said he didn't want an advantage. Might as well have a little chat. With a movement of his hand he sent away the scout who had come into combat range. The young woman seemed to hesitate but decided that engaging Naiyao wasn't worth the trouble she'd have with Speculum for ignoring orders. Speculum turned his full attention back to Naiyao as the third Tao disappeared into the distance.

"Help you? You ask me to assist you in your fight against von Karma? To renounce my allegiance and strike at him instead of for him?" Speculum threw back his head and laughed. A strong wind started to blow as a orb on his chestplate glowed faintly. Speculum's laughter died away slowly and, still grinning, he shook his head: "There's a reason why I wouldn't join your armee of the goddess under any circumstances. You! If I were to join you I'd have to give up my hunt now wouldn't I?" He looked at her intently his sword beginning to spin again and the orb still glowing.

"Then we are at an impasse.." Naiyao spoke the words softly as she took a breath in and closed her mouth, pulling her sword back with one hand. She brought her body back to prepare for the next strike, gripping the hilt of the blade tightly. She allowed herself to hold restraint, moving her blade forward. She pointed the tip of the blade at Speculum with her eyes stuck onto his. Naiyao knew her next move, but she allowed herself to rest for a moment. She then moved her body back a bit and then quickly leaned forward to move her body, she pulled herself into a swift rush toward Speculum, pushing her feet from the Tao as she leaped towards the male, though her body seemed to flicker with an extreme increase in speed. Her body made contact with Speculum, though rather then striking him, she seemed to release him from his hold and pushed him from the Tao as well as herself, as they would both fall toward the ground from the heavy impact she unleashed against him so suddenly. Though they began to fall, she gripped her blade tightly still, preparing to strike back just in case until the moment fell upon Speculum of death.

Naiyao brought her right arm up quickly with the blade clenched in her grasp, striking back against Speculum's blade. She then quickly moved her left hand up to her chest and placed her palm over it, a shocking energy began to expel from her body. Lets end this quick! Naiyao moved her body in a twist as she sent herself into a spinning motion, moving toward Speculum. She wrapped her arms around him quickly and they were converged in an electric charge as they fell in a tornado form toward the ground, seeming to send out large amounts of electricity through the empty sky. As they move, the scar across Speculum's back burns, the lightening exertion moves rapidly, damaging Speculum as they near the ground for a grand impact.

Speculum screamed in pain as his scar burned itself into his mind once more. His face contorted into a mask of hate as he started to overcome the pain. Slowly he bares his teeth at Naiyao, as if to bite her. Then he hissed at her: "Your tricks are getting old. You're starting to bore me!" He used his time orb once more and sped up, thereby managing to get his arms free. He slowed down for a few seconds and grinned at Naiyao, the pain sinking back into the background. Then his orb illuminated his face again and his hands were wrapped around his prey's neck, slowly crushing her windpipe as he slowed down once more to savour the moment: "You are getting predictable and easy to counter Naiyao. How very disappointing!"
