This is a story about a pretty regular individual; not at all exceptional in any given manner but perfectly normal; he goes to school, he hangs out with his friends, he spends time with his family, he enjoys sports, he plays videogames etc. and he's very passionate about his hobbies. That is until he miraculously devlops the ability to exist outside of time, i.e. he can enter a phase where his actions and state of being become independant of time, which essentially has the effect of "freezing time". At first he couldn't be more appreciative of his new found ability; it gave him all the time he would ever need to do the things he enjoyed by himself. However, as the story develops, and he spends more and more time in his solitary world, and as the world of the living continues to dissapoint him and leave him dissatisfied in a number of ways, he slowly but surely becomes more and more detached from his humanity and his basic need to coexist with others, and finds far more purpose in existing in his world outside of time, rather than the world that existed alongside time. This is what The Man Who Killed The Earth essentially is: a character study of a being placed into such a circumstance and the slow development of his losing of humanity, that eventually climaxes into his desire to never return to the world of coexistence and remain forever in his reclusive world, essentially bringing meaning to the title as the world never again flows with the wheel of time.
