So this is the episode thats supposed to put this series back on the right track. You think it will?

Prolly not. I'm seeing a lot of things that I don't want to see; ashouka turning to the dark side, non-blue colored lightning, blocking lightsabers with fists... sighs.

I cautious about it

There are many who think the series has been on the right track from the start... So why would they change it?

Because all those people are 10 years old?

It wasn't really... I said something about it in the Ahsoka thread.

I thought the episode was good, and i'm really glad we got to see Ventress' origin fleshed out, if even a little.

Yup, I liked it too.

A few weird bits especially the plot to use Jedi lightsabres to fool Dooku. Why doesnt Dooku sense Ventress' presence? Vader did with OB1... And why use Jedi lightsabres if Dooku can't see?

Apart from that great fun an dit shows what a great character Ventress is. Episodes get interesting once the usual suspects (Anakin, OB1, Padme) are not the main characters.

He couldn't see? I thought he was just seeing everything blurry?

Well he said he couldn't see and he kept his eyes closed during the fight as well.

it does make him seem even more impressive though, imo.

It does actually.. one of the better Dooku appeareances.

I do hope they make more episodes like that. It's a lot more exciting without Anakin, OB1 and Padme... we already know they will always survive.

Yeah, definitely a great episode.

As far as not sensing Ventress... the Dark Side is much better at masking a presence in the Force. On top of that, Dooku was asleep and then he was drugged. Made sense to me.

Epic duel, for sure.

That is true.

But as Dooku was blinded, his non visual senses were heightened, so I dunno. One would guess that Dark Siders would sense each other's presence quite well. Even OB1 sensed something elusive about Maul.

Other than that, it was lovely. I liked the Dathomir witches as well.

Well, remember the dart wasn't just blinding, it was like confounding as well.

It was nice to actually see Dooku do something though.
