Well SS is far less durable than SBP.

And a key stipulation to this fight was in my OP: "In our solar system."

Even if SS drained SBP, I'm not sure how long it would last. He is INSTANTLY powered by any contact with sunlight.

He did in Sinestro Corps war.

The sun hit his hand and that was all it took for him to toss characters from like two Justice League incarnations and the JSA off of him like nothing and beat the hell out of Ion.

So he just didn't need the armor for anything then?? Going up against all the heroes and he was nearly beat then the rays of sunlight hits him he says it feels like "I'm back 'home'' for nothing then??

His powers nearly returned?? At one point that may have been the case in the comic but he was fighting the whole time using up his power, he was only saved when the sun came up and when the energy from the sun hit his hand making him at full power..

If you are calling THIS is Superboy Prime at near full power that is a joke...

His full powers returned when the sunlight came up meaning this is all he needed to be at full power.
