Mordru has always been pretty high. Even LOS version absorbed Infinite Man and the only low one was the last one, because the rules of magic changed.

These days when people refer to Mordru they're talking about 'modern' Mordru.

In the future he's a great deal more powerful than, for instance, Kent Nelson Dr. Fate. In current continuity, he's about on par.
