Yeah Strange has some good h2h feats, Wong trained him. IIRC Doc has Beatn a Demon posessed Wolverine and Stalemated IronFist/Black Panther just to name a few

He did not defeat a demon possessed wolverine to my knowledge all he manage to do was stay a live for a few moments.

1st lets bring up PIS moment that happened once in his entire career then make a decision based of off that single isolated event......

Some scans would be nice. Using WW as a metaphor isn't really valid as she's proven ample times that she's an incredibly skilled martial artists. Her physical powerset enables her to use it fairly often. Much more so than Dr. Strange.

I don't know stranges ma skills all that well but they'd better be damn impressive to face up to cass.

OK but all he really did to mantis was dodge one attack... i wouldn't call it hanging with her at all.

don't really care about mantis' MA skills...all i can say is even with that old school drawing she is uber hot for a comic character.

As I recall, he actually used a technique he learned from Mantis to track Nova with an attack while she was moving at high speeds.

Still, I'd have to back Cass. Strange doesn't have enough of a history to convince me he's Val Amorr class, even if he could hang with Mantis (And more then I'd peg Batman as Val class, for having hung with him...)
