This movie was on Showtime last night.
The first 30min was completely pointless, boring, and crap.
But after that it got ok and was a pretty fun movie to watch...
Did anyone else see it?

Saw a trailer once, came across a review later, and both led me to believe this movie sucks bullocks.
Of course, I haven't seen the movie it self so I might be wrong eventually. On the other hand; mutated aquatic monster killing a bunch of wankers, that has been done 200 times in movies since the fifties. Smells like 'Anaconda' had a one night stand with 'Piranha' and their baby was flushed down the toilet and lost for months, only to be found rotten and empty... and they named it frankenfish.
Then for the visual impressions I got from the trailer, you've got your underwater shots looking like footage from a diver who has lost his air-mask and is desperately seeking it (and the Susan he took the dive with) and next we get some shots of the 'monster' which visual appearance and animations could have been computed by a commodore 64, with memory left to play pacman 3.
Got a bit harsh there maybe, but Frankenfish is a movie I will never spend any afford, money or time on to see it.
Do feel free to convert me.

Well there is plenty of blood in it and abit of gore and some of it is pretty well done, they spent more money on SFX then anything else in the movie. The 'monsters' are some sort of mutated Chinese fighting fish or something. But the way they kill the 'mother' is cool. Think of an everglades boat, you know the ones with the fan... well yeah...
