A weekend cruise on a luxurious party yacht goes horribly wrong for a group of old high-school friends. They forget to let the ladder down before they jump into the ocean for a swim. The boat proves impossible to climb. They are stuck in the water many miles from shore, with baby Sara left alone on board. Sara's mother Amy must contend with her aqua-phobia as well as the group's increasing desperation, as the friends begin to turn on each other. Soon the exhaustion of keeping afloat and the struggle to get back on board begin to take a terrible toll. The happy reunion turns into a fight for survival...

looks ok, I'd rent it

Oh good another film about people floating in the water for 75 minutes.

woody82
Well the first one never appealed to me, but well doesn't soun bad but really getting ona boat that hard?

Easy one person gets on the others shoulders and gets uo onto the boat and lets down the ladder, hard....

steverules
That's what I thought but the only problem is the other person would just sink under water and start drowning

Mišt
They're making a sequel to this movie?no expression

The first one pissed me off so bad, I watched it at my aunty's house, spent a good hour and a half or so watching people float in water, then I had to leave, and I found out the people died like 5mins after I stopped watching...I would probably hire the dvd, watch the last chapter just to see them die, then return it the same day.

This one sounds interesting though, its always funny when a bunch of retards end up fighting each other to survive, I hope they have a twist at the end like having another ladder on the opposite side of the boat, at least I could laugh at the morons.

steverules
I know, what dumba** forgets to put the ladder down. A whole movie about a bunch of teen's who are trying to get on their boat. I admit it'll be quite funny but will have it's scary moments.

poppycock, you'd just get a heap of people on one side to gently push the boat up, lowering the other side and making it easier to climb onto. they dont make boats you CANT get into if you fall overboard, that (much like this movie) would be stupid

scottnicholson
well, I liked the first one okay but it was a gimmick--anybody remember Blar Witch 2? I didn't think so...

Uhm ok but where were they meant to get a heap of people when they are in the middle of the ocean?

Wolfie
The first looked so boring, I won't even bother with this.

it said "a group" and the whole lot must be in the water, otherwise the people on the boat would lower the ladder. you only need one person to jump onboard so the rest of the group could do the pushing. i thought i'd be obvious but i guess not...

It didn't look like a big group, looked like a small group. And check your first post you said a heap of people could push the boat, you never said anything about a group of people.

woody82
But Steve think about it, if you only had two out there, one stays there in the water staying afloat, whilst theother gets on there shoulders and then pulls them selve up then either lowering the ladder or pulling them up simple. Sure he/she may go under water for amoment or two but you'll be up in less than a minute.

steverules
Oh yeah true but wouldn't person start sinking as soon as the person got on his/her shoulders or would they stay afloat long enough to get on the boat, but how would they make a movie out of that?

Grimm22
Wow, this is just a live action version of an episode of King of the Hill laughing

Seriously its not a big deal. I mean who has a boat that big in height anyway?!?!?

deathbycorn
Its a Yacht, they are huge.
It would be nearly impossible to get back up without the laddder, the sides would be wet and slippery too.

Still im 99% sure that there is probobly somthing made to prevent that nowadays

tabby999
indeed, if your snorkling and scubing etc you'd just swim down under the boat as far as you could, swim up REALLY fast (thanks to the flippers) and launch up the side, you might miss a few times, prolly bang into the edge and it'd hurt a bit, but if you REALLY needed to get back on that boat, you'd do it.

woody82
Well Steve your right you couldn't makea film oput of a quick escape, but the getting backon the boat is particualry easy. Unless its a crusie ship were its god knows how many feet in the air, but if its just a yacht then its easy to get back on.

The person whos holding the person up could use there hands against the boat maybe holding themselves up not sure.

steverules
But the side is slippery

Grimm22
Its going to be one of those movies that are hilarious just because of how awful it is

allofyousuckkk
uhhh, i hate when scary movies incorporate a baby into it. They are completely defenseless, and regardless that they always live, it just added unneeded retardation.

tabby999
if your making a horror movie, something that is allowed to suspend rational thinking for a hour and a half, and the audience goes "No way, piss off, thats lame as hell" your not going to have a good movie. simple as that. I'm much more inclined to believe Jason is real over a small group of people not being able to get back onto their boat

allofyousuckkk
now that i think about it, there must be something to stop that from happening, otherwise it would be really common. right?

Also, wtf are they doing leaving the baby inside the boat alone while they go to swim? wtf?

deathbycorn
Have any of you even watched the trailer?

Try and get back into a boat like that laughing

yep, if they're THAT stupid as to leave a baby unattended on board while they swim, they DESERVE to die. the baby dosn't though. i suppose jesus will save it. but not the swimmers...they're fools

Grimm22
Wait what baby?!? confused

I didnt see any baby in the trailer?

Exactly! this was the most overhyped, pointless, and most boring flick I've seen in years. Total waste of my time.

BackFire
I thought the first movie was really good, but a sequel is just dumb.

Grimm22
The original was alright erm

I thought the acting was really good. It was very realistic considering that those were real sharks in the water with them.

That and the entire concept of being left at sea to die is almost as scary as being buried alive to mefear

ladygrim
Really how can they make a sequel to a movie that was based on true events ....i think they would get more credit for this one is they called it something else and aviod telling people its a sequel
