God-Thing was slated to become totally Omnipotent by replacing God/Yahweh/The Source/The Presence/etc. God-Spawn was only an equal to Image's God and Satan who were far from omnipotent, just incredibly powerful.

Swamp Thing rules KMC. He wins again.
