For this thread Morlun runs a gauntlet and faces opponents who's powers are animal based or related. After each opponent he defeats he absorbs some of their life energy and becomes stronger.

Not sure about Animal Man, as I don't know much about him.

Tempted to say he stops cold at 9, though (could be earlier, depending on AM). He definitely doesn't get past 10.
