Cube Beings vs Elder Gods...

Fight to the Death or KO; no BFR or PIS...

Who wins?

When Kubik was giving Kosmos a tour of the great powers of the universe, notice what group was absent? I'll give you a hint, Kubik and Kosmos are members of it.

Yeah various comments were made in that FF comic, but those statements contradict on panel feats against those who are alledgedly greater than themselves...

Besides, it wouldnt be the 1st time a cosmic hierarchy was proven wrong; didnt Thor say something to the effect that Cube Beings only had planetary level reality warping power?

Feats are meaningless without fights to back them up though. Who have Cube Beings fought? What was the result?

He said a Cube has the power to reshape an entire planet, he could have been referencing the Shaper.

Edited.

Hasnt post retcon Beyonders power proven much greater than Galactus's?

TheLordofMurder

No, he said "it's been said that". He didn't say they only had planetary level reality warping powers.

Well whoever told him that was very wrong...werent they?

wink

Gotcha, so in other words, he didnt place a hard limit on what they could do; he basically said they could reality warp on a planetary level for sure...

It's messy. MM with a sliver of half a cube's power : extracted the Beyonder persona from Kosmos and beat it down with the usual "reality shaking" stuff going on in the background.

For reference sake MM, with the same sliver of power, lost to Klaw, Aaron the Rogue Watcher, and Sentry. To the best of my knowledge those were the only fights he was in post resurrection (Klaw, Aaron, Beyonder, Sentry). He lost 3 of his 4 fights. What does that say about the Beyonder?

It says that Post Retcon Beyonders power proved to be much greater than Galactus's...

Molecule Man's jobbing isnt in this thread and when MM beat Beyonder he was "Molecule Man Unleashed," which surely was much more powerful than the jobbing versions of himself that came before and after this fight...

Its all a mess like you said, BUT Post Retcon Beyonders power proving greater than Galactus's does show that those statements made by Kubik in that FF comic arent worth much...

When was this shown? Are you talking about the Secret Wars flashback in Spiderman?

Edit
And how is it jobbing if he LOST 3 of his 4 fight post resurrection? If anything the losses seem to be the norm.

Klaw (a being made up of sound) breaking out of a vacuum prison doesnt scream PIS to you? He broke out...just because he could...because of what he is and the nature of his powers that feat should be impossible, but it happened just because they decided to make Owen lose.

Sentry somehow surving being warped inside out...and not dying...just because they wanted to make Sentry seem bada**...makes a whole lot of sense as well; re-read that comic...its very PIS'y.

A Watcher beating a Cube Being? Need I really defend this one? Molecule Man job job job...

But you are derailing the thread; MM isnt in the OP...

Just Kubik and the Shaper; MM's showings arent relevant to these two...

It's very relevant because the Beyonder LOST to him, badly.

Getting back to the people on the thread, who has the Shaper gone up against and won? Names? Aside from the Secret Wars flashback, who has post retcon Beyonder fought? It should be noted that even in the SW flashback, that was a hungry Galactus that Spider man beat with Beyonder's powers.

Strange was powerless before Cytorrak and yet Strange held his own vs the LT himself.

EDIT
They explained how Klaw broke out of that prison.

TheLordofMurder
Beyonder isnt in this thread either...so its not relevant.

The Shaper hasnt fought anyone significant, but he is one hell of a reality warper!

So no fights from him vs anyone worth mentioning. Ok what about Kubik? Just the half cube being Beyonder.

Kubik and Kosmos didn't encounter one Cube Being on their tour of the great powers of the universe, yet Galactus was there, the Elder Gods/Demons were there, etc... He even called Kubik and himself "insignificant".

WTF? Why would a Cube Being be there? They both are Cube Beings. The whole journey was to explain where they as Cube Beings fit it. Why you Kubik go fine another one?

Dude, D'spayre, Mephisto, Dweller In Darkness, Satannish and Thanos were their too. So your arguing that Kubik admitted that he was below these beings as well as Chthon? lol. It merely stated that this is the place where the evil ones dwelled. Where does it state they're more powerful than the Cubes? It wasn't just a lesson in power but a journey to explorer the aspects and beings throughout the universe. It also featured the Uni-Mind, High Evolutionary, Mangog, Overmind, and The Stranger. I guess Kubik sees them as above Cube Beings too?

Cube Beings win this. They're high end reality warpers and have better feats.

He may have said it, but it contradicts on panel feats...

Feats>>>>>>Statements.

Remember what Legion did to the Elder Gods?

I'm seeing something similar happening here

I was thinking about this statement and I'd argue that statements are useless unless they are backed up with on panel feats or fights...

Completely unproven since neither have fought anyone of consequence.

Exactly. Fights>>>>>>>>>Feats>>>>>>Statements. So show me some fights that Kubik and Shaper have been in.

But ZERO fights except Kubik vs half a Cube Being (the same half a cube being that became a full cube being and lost to a guy with a sliver of half a cube beings power).

WTF? That half Cube Being still created an entire universe. Your so called Elder Gods ran into existing pocket universes. This Cube Being created an entire universe and still got stomped. And if a chump like Beyonder is that powerful, what do you think the guy that stumped him will do? Kubik is a full Cube Being.
