if marvel killed peter off in 616, instead of ultimates, and introduced miles morales as the new 616 spidey?

Of course.

The fact that Parker being replaced at all that would cause a riot at the Marvel offices.

I never liked Ultimate Spidey anyways so I think it was a cool move for that universe.

What Ninjak said. Although, the new kid is annoying. They're doing the stupid 616 mutant thing. "Oh no! I look normal but unlike others can run on walls and juggle cars. ZOMG what a nightmare! I am a freak!"

There's a reason why the Clone Saga was such a disappointment... and it wasn't only because the stories were bad.
