I think Superman could beat Gladiator as well but Gladiator can pull a win to get him to Black Adam and Black Adam doesn't do so well against heat vision.

Gauntlets are usually decided by averages, though.

On average, Superman like to test the water...see how strong his opponent is before actually going all apes on them. This wouldn't be a good option against Gladiator since "he punch so freaking hard" and is already out for the kill in the beginning.

A centurian ranges from Low to Mid Herald.

Gladiator splits one in half and then he one shot another one and choke another to sleep. His strength is insane and in a second match...it might be MUCH harder for Gladiator but since this is a Gauntlet, that's all he needs is the first win.

All good and dandy, but do you really think that beating some cannon fodder nova corps member (mid-herald? Even the rookie gls have feats have more impressive feats than them and none of them are considered a low herald much less mid herald.) is better than taking on almost every villain on earth in a single night.
All of this is moot as it's a bloodlust match unless specified.

Binary withstood a Sun going nova on her...she was in the heart of the blast.

Korvus...can't argue against that but he did have super human stats.

Vulcan tanked attacks from all of the elite Shiar crew...withstood attacks from Warlock...withstood attacks from a being that was empowered by a planet full of species...withstood attacks from Yahoo who was empowered by an entire star. Knocking him out the way he did was hellava impressive. Lol...Rachel withstood hits from the fury. The same fury that punch Sam Guthrie and the punch was so strong that it penetrated through his invulnerable shield and broke his leg. Rachel is durable.

And she was weakened when Gladiator came along.

And...

Nothing was stated that she was still weakened when she faced Gladiator. She didn't appear fatigued at all and the character had plenty of time to rest.

None of the people I showed are on Superman level of durability except Masterson and he didn't do so well against Gladiator fist either.

The point of my scans is to show that Gladiator punches are insane and against Heralds, they can't take too many of them. I feel that if Superman gets hit by too many of Gladiator punches...its not going to go so well for him.

Superman would beat Gladiator. It's also kind of sad seeing Carver champion Gladiator's showings. The disparity in feats is just unfair.

Whenever you want to compare the two characters Carver, just PM. I'm not a huge fan but I'm willing. Mostly because it'll be so easy.

I would just like to add that while I cant remember if Rachael was actually knocked or just knocked back in that scan that was AFTER she lost the phoenix echo which when she had it was able to match Gladiator

The second claim of Rachael and Korvus being one-shotted is just false

Does anyone else find it weird that Carver is harping on sucker punching two beings that have -low- enhanced durability (From what I remember at least) at base? The fact that he was only able to take them out for maybe a minute or two isn't something I'd personally be posting around if I was a Gladiator fan.
