This thread does contain spoilers for AC, I'm thinking the games been out long enough that I don't need to use spoiler tags but if I do then maybe a mod can edit this post later or something

So at the end of Arkham City obviously the joker was dead. BUT I recently showed a clip on youtube of a pregnancy test that was obviously taken by Harley showing that she was pregnant. I'm hearing a lot of rumors that this is a planned sequel to Arkham City. I dunno for sure if this is true, I would like another Arkham game but I dunno where the location would be but obviously the storyline would be a pregnant Harley trying to get revenge on 'B-man' for the death of Joker.

Any thoughts or anything on this? Any possible news that you may have heard?

I think we'll see the resolution of three major hanging plot lines:

-Harley Quinn's pregnancy.
-The prophecy which Azrael mentioned.
-Hush's revenge against Bruce Wayne.

As far as Harley goes, it would be interesting to see her transform into a legitimate threat to Batman (though she'd likely have some help from other rogues/gangs/etc.) instead of the quirky kind of sidekick/girlfriend to Joker.

I'd still rather those be covered in the future downloadable episodes Conroy mentioned earlier or in some other form of DLC instead of them warranting an entire sequel, since you know, it wouldn't feel the same without Joker (unless they came up with some stupid plot device for him to come back from the dead or something, but that would crap all over Arkham City's ending). Besides, what would another sequel bring to the table (in terms of gameplay) that Arkham City didn't already provide? Aside from maybe like controlling some of the vehicles yourself (batmobile and batwing) that is.

Well, assuming Hamill sticks to his guns and doesn't portray Joker again (and the studio decides not to get someone else to voice him), I'd imagine that Harley undergoes a significant level of character development that turns her from a mostly bumbling idiot to a unchecked psychotic out for revenge. The fact that so many thugs are overheard saying how Harls wouldn't last a day without Joker and how she's so stupid seems to me like Rocksteady's planning to reveal the very opposite. And at her core, Harley isn't exactly all that stupid, either; she was an accomplished psychiatrist prior to Joker turning her mad. Joker's death sparking a radical change in her personality would be entirely in character for her, imo.

As far as gameplay additions go, I can see the third game involving the entire Batfamily, with episodes breaking up the main storyline as you switch from Robin to Nightwing back to Batman. Vehicle play would be neat, too. I think the joking "What are they gonna do next? Arkham Bigass World?" comment made by a thug may also be a subtle hint. Obviously not a single Arkham facility which overtakes the world, but perhaps Batman has to travel the world to various facilities (such as the ones Hugo Strange had planned).

I also think we'll see some kind of resolution concerning Talia's death - perhaps even a mention or appearance of Damian Wayne.

I think Ra's will come back, they'll make him the main villain or Scarecrow. Possibly Red Hood as well.
