I think you're better off looking up the FFX board in www.gamefaqs.com chica. Not sure I remember that glitch. It has been almost a decade since I last played the game.

Could you describe the issue more accurately? What platform are you playing on? The game not literally crashing but getting stuck sounds like a disc reading issue but it could be all sorts.
