Iirc Steg is cold blooded. Freeze capsules to stop/slow him down then combo to ko. 10 out of 10. Also in comics Spider-man tends to use prep even when he doesn't really have to for the sake of making the victory more interesting. In a forum fight going all out I believe he can take this even without extra equipment.
