Which Universe has displayed some of the best battles and some of the best high lighting moments?

I enjoyed the Juggernaut vs Thor and the Spiderman vs Firelord fight. Another good one Spiderman vs Morlun.

Superman dial 11'ing Thor is one of the best moments for me, so, tie?

Sinestro Corps Wars, the whole event = win

Magog vs Superman in Kingdom Come.

Not really a battle but a moment I really liked.

My favorite battles:

Superboy Prime vs Sodam Yat Ion

Odin Force Thor vs Iron Man

Ultimate Thor vs the Ultimates in Norway

and of course Superman vs Doomsday in death of Superman

one of my favorite battles is grey hulk vs wolverine. back when i was a wolverine fanboy. it was awesome seeing him tear into him.

batman vs bronze tiger was ok too.

I'd say I'm more of a marvel fan. But some of the best stuff I've read in dc probably outranks the marvel stuff.

Kyle Rayner discovering oblivion was really a fragment of his own mind as well as all the other gl... That when merged created ion... And the assaults by the scarred guardian.. Etc..

A lot of the stories in marvel that explored magneto or doom were good for me. Quasars coming to power issues.. Especially iron man feeling agony for the death of captain America. I disliked iron man after civil war. and I hated the reboot storyline to make him not even know what he did..,

Blah. I'd say it's way too hard to draw a favorite. There's plenty of good from both.

Yeah, but it was still awesome. Especially right after the Civil War when I had grown to dislike Iron Man, it was good to see someone stand up to him.

As far as right now, I think DC is kicking ass. Scott Snyder's work on Batman and Swamp Thing is brilliant.

I am pretty excited about AvX though (minus the artwork), so we'll see.

Funnily enough, bar one comic in 1993 (literally one comic bought at a newstand while on holiday), I only started reading DC seriously in 2004.

Marvel? 1988, thereabouts.

thanos and his quest for the infinity gems

Cassandra Cain vs Lady Shiva was some good stuff.

Steel Serpent vs Spider Man and Iron Fist was a good brawl, that really put over Davos as a threat since he was deflecting attacks from Spidey in the middle of fighting Danny, and actually used Spidey as a weapon.

But that can't compare with Davos and Danny's definitive match, where Danny must face Davos with his power and beat him to regain his title of Iron Fist.

Superman vs Doomsday (DOS)

My favorite is from all star superman 11. Superman punching out an evil mechanical sun=AWESOME. "Mercy", "You'll live".

For me, my favorite moment from All Star was Superman and the suicidal kid.

And Supes is dying at the time.

The old Deathstroke/Batman fights were cool. I forgot about Shiva/Batgirl ones.

I thought we're talking about fight scenes. That scene with the suicidal kid is my favorite scene of all time. That "I love you lois lane, untill the end of time." is also one of my favorites as well as clark shouting to his father "I can save you, I can save everyone."

Also, the Transhuman Vs Body Doubles was one of the best fights I have seen in the last year or so...

Not the whole battle, but it takes place in Resurrection Man.

Invincible vs. that guy whose name escapes me (some General or other?) was hardcore as ****. That might get my #1 vote. Anyone who's seen the fight will know exactly what I'm talking about.
