He basically suicide bombed himself inside the Sun Eater, right by its heart. He found its weakest point and used his most powerful attack... while it was distracted.

Everyone in DC is under superman level, nothing new. Not applicable on forums.

He still destroyed it completely. Suicide bombing or not it was still his power.

He was inside it. That's like saying the Elders could beat Galactus because they brought him down from inside.
The only way to take down the Sun Eater was to attack it from inside according to that arc, and follow up arcs, and arcs that came before...

That doesn't matter. The whole point is that he could only do it inside the Sun Eater. If he could have destroyed him from the outside, he would have done so.
Plus, a lot of it was attributed to his anti-energy form IIRC.
