Yeah it's certainly a concern. If I remember correctly there's about 80 times the amount of long half life radioactive material at Fukushima than there was at Chernobyl and obviously the likelyhood of natural disasters making it worse is higher in Japan than in Ukraine.

They can't just take thee Chernobyl route and cover everything in several feet on concrete?

No guarantee an earthquake wouldn't just crack it to pieces and uncover everything again.
