*Blood: The Last Vampire - half japanese half americanized
*Audition - If you want to see a slow and painful death, great movie.
*Tokyo Gore Police - Not realistic but funny in their killing style
*Hair extentions - movie You never seen a hair cut like this before.
*asian grudge - it was better then the remake.

fyi you can't do better than Kurosawa, with 7 samurai being on top, but anything by him really. just, perform your way from the top returning down, not the other way around.

You just need to look at the Japanese movies/TV shows, the US ones usually have the same titles. And of course America steals the Japanese horror film ideas... and still the Japanese do it better.
