The muties won't be so merry once Thanos gets through with them.

Muties have a good chance, why? Hope + Thanos being a mutant + in prescence of other stupidly powerful mutants = mutants win. She might burn up though if she powered up to that level for too long.

Combined, these guys might at least survive a fight with Thanos, but Shaman X-Man, God Cable and Hope would have to be the ones to really step up if they are to have a chance of winning or driving him off.

It would be interesting with Hope given that Thanos is a mutant himself.

The fact that none of them can mindrape him makes most of them pretty useless.

Ne being mindrape by Moondragon with the friggin' Mind gem, for one.

Also, being able to directly communicate via telepathy with Galactus. And he tried to mindrape him. Communicate with Big G almost killed Chuck.

Thanos ainty getting mindraped by them, whilst weak Moondragon,Mantis and Cosmo could only just keep his mind in check

Especially while using some of their other exotic powers as well, and with Magneto, Iceman, and Apoc doing their stuff too, and Hope absorbing tons of powers including Thanos'. I can see them at least driving Thanos off if they really step it up.

Current Thanos wins, classic loses

Thanos has pretty powerful TP defence. Not sure if team can break through them. In Annhilation he no-sold Moondragon's TP like it was nothing. In TI it took Mantis, Cosmo, and Moondragon to hold him back at his weakest state. Later he grew too strong for them to mind-lock.

Hope copying Thanos' powers is questionable. Thanos isn't a mutant in the conventional homo-superior sense. He's a mutant because he has the Deviant gene that makes him look ugly. He doesn't derive his power from it though, they come from being Eternal plus his mystical and biological/bionic amps.

Thanos mindraped galactus and made he's original herald his personal slave. plus he fought tyrant. So chareles trys probing his mind but thsn cries himself into a como trying to probe his thoughts. Thanos then mindrapes apocalypse and cable making them his heralds. The rest relizing all Hope is gone! kneel before their god!

The point is: If they had a shot a mindraping him (which they don't, IMO), they still had to not get murdered in the first time, while trying to mindrape him.

And on this list, there's not a lot of people who would actually survive a full frontal attack from Thanos.

Thanos wins.

Team . Not only can Hope mimic the abilities of the group to a higher degree, she can apparently augment the powers of the mutants to an unknown degree or some shiz. .

Thanos strength has natural and no longer has his artificial amps since death replace after she brought him back from the dead, Thanos is a eternal mutant not a deviant unless I miss something.
