Optimus Prime

Can the movie incarnation of Prime even hit them? The Mark 7 and War Machine certainly have the fire power to bring him down.

If "You've Got The Touch" is playing on any audio device within a 500 mile radius Prime wins.

True, but before that Hot Rod will leap right into the fight, be taken hostage by War Marchine as Tony fires his missiles at Prime critically wounding him. But he will damage the two of them severely enough for win and they will run away.

IM solo's

Iron Man alone, forget war machine. Only if it was movie incarnations, however

Tony flies in shooting tank buster rockets around or on Prime + a bunch of scatter bombs. Prime explodes.

If Prime survives Tony lands and uses the red lasers on him.

Movie versions Optimus wins

Iron Man should be enough to win himself. He's too fast to begin with and is tiny compared to what Prime is used to fighting. Not to mention, Stark packs far more firepower than pretty much any Transformer has shown thus far. Plus, I'd argue he's more durable as well.

IM too fast? Think about who the autobots normally fight.

Pretty much half the Decepticon army is aircraft that run circles around Earths fastest jets, and Prime still manages to shoot them down. Skywarp warps too, and he's still canon fodder.

The size isn't anything he hasn't dealt with either, like with the cassette transformers and micromasters.

Megatron uses a fusion cannon. Operative word being "Fusion".

That's basically a tactical nuke. And various comic book incarnations have more than enough feats to prove this, like the time Megatron chased off an entire army of tanks and jets, without even realizing they were there. He was going through one of his typical rage breakdowns and shooting in random directions, and the army got toasted.

He also took down Predaking with it.

And Prime, he's tanked them lots of times, in many different comic book incarnations.

Oh, and when it comes to pure firepower, Stark has nothing on current Megatron.

He uses some type of super rail gun, that's powerful enough to level a city.

Even Optimus can't survive his new weapon at the lowest outputs..

Missed that.

But there's still Transformers: The Movie.

So Prime wins with The Touch playing.

Movie Iron Man>Movie Optimus Prime

Fact.

He's smaller, smarter, WAY faster, more durable, has a missile the size of a dart that has brought down a giant Chitauri serpent, lasers that will cut Prime apart, repulsors, a uni-beam, and various other explosives and ordinances that are sure to do damage to Prime.

Basically, Iron Man can fly really, really fast and has more than enough firepower to bring down Prime. This goes for any other Transformer in any of Bay's movies.

I don't know where this uber Iron Man is from, because he wasn't in any of the movies I watched.. Prime would have scrapped Iron Monger and that entire remote controlled army easily enough..

And it's not like the Bayformers folded under heavy ordinance. Megatron (Optimus's peer power wise) in particular was taking rockets and other human weapons more than powerful enough to scrap conventional tanks.

He also took a battering from those jets, and still didn't die from it..

Some of them did, I remember tanks pwning deceptacons left and right in 2. And Starscreams embarrassing showing in 3.

^ The Transformer's feats had a downward trend since the first movie, especially regarding durability.

Not with Optimus in regards to fighting, as his battle vs, Megatron, Starscream and the other big Decept was epic and one of the best things about TF2........OK, the only good thing about TF2.

Sure, Prime is a better fighter. But Iron Man's not about to stupidly try to get into a fistfight with a being that is more than three times his size. He's going to take to the skies and bomb the shit out of a helpless sitting duck.

Prime can fly, and has missiles and stuff. Stark won't just bomb him with impunity (And it's debatable how much damage he can do. The repulsers should be useless, and his lasers must take a lot of power, so he shouldn't be able to use them indefinitely..)

Honestly alot of that is just Prime is an assload stronger then all the deceptacons post 1st movie. He obliterates megatron in the second and 3rd movie. And then you have starscream being held down by the weight of two humans. just eww


As for the fight I think Iron Man but it will be a cool fight. Unless of course we are going by Transformers: The Movie. Then Optimus ftw

The Starscream thing was pretty awful.

Michael Bay was probably making a nod to Devils Due GI Joe and the Transformers comics, when Snake Eyes slashed Starscreams eye socket and tossed a grenade in. But that's Snake Eyes.... He's always been a walking PIS machine.

It doesn't work so well when he's facing a normal human.

I was ok with him getting stabbed in the eye, but really their weight being enough to keep him from flying? It being too much pain for him to fight back at all, despite all the shit cybertronians can take?

Starscreams best moment was from the first movie, when he single handedly took down a half dozen jets.

That moment probably tops the list of moments from all three films. It was very well choreographed, and you can actually tell what was going on.

I honestly feel Gi Joe and transformers should become a merged universe. Would be pretty badass especially how they are trying to have this terrorist group be badass as in the current main continuity. (Prime)

So Prime has his upgrades in this fight? I doubt it'll matter as Iron Man is still far more maneuverable and a flat out better flyer.
