Yeah, that's pretty bad. They should just explore him making specialized suits. I don't like the idea of them doing Extremis.

I think that Extremis is the ONLY way to go. The comic story, itself, was such an evolutionary step for Iron Man.

Also, I would love to see the introduction of Ultron. It could start out as a simple AI presence, like the comedy relief robotic arm that Tony has in his lab, and then progress into a bad ass robot that the Avengers have to deal with.

It's too early for Extremis, Tony hasn't discovered fieldtech or Inertial Dampeners yet so the tech won't work. Well no where near as impressively as the comic version did.

Hey Rob Inertial Dampeners are gonna be in the movie

Actually they're gonna play a major factor in the movie.

Tony's armor will use IDs to move pieces around like telekinesis. And there will be a moment where he has to wrap the armor around Pepper quickly to survive a barrage in his coastal home.

Plenty more if people are interested.
But I'm extremely excited by what I've seen. My fears of Extremis being weaksauce has been squashed. This film is gonna rock. And Tony will finally have the tech to take on the big boys.

It's a movie with Robert Downey Jr. starring as Iron Man. Bet your ass I'll be there.

Apparently Tony is going to try to have the pieces of armor fly on his body but the pieces will knock him around. Plus Tony at one stage will use a glove piece to levitate him out of a wreckage.

quite easy.. since cheadle is also rhodey/war machine, it makes no sense that these pics depicting the iron patriot are actually war machine.. i think most likely these pics of iron patriot could be detroit steel

I can see them changing up Rhodes/War Machine to be 'ALL AMERICAN, **** YEAH!' for the film, since he was still part of the US military in the second film.

For the first time ever, I'm not excited for a Marvel superhero movie.
This looks like a massive mess. Nothing I've seen makes me think that it's anything but "MOAR ARMOR! MOAR ARMOR! TOYS! TOYS!"

Notice how 1 was so good, and was very faithful to the source, and 2 was incredibly mediocre, and deviated extremely. The most faithful Marvel films have always been proven to be the best. Imagine how this'll be.

Avengers - The movie seemed like all the characters were fighting for best proformance skills, their characters did not mesh well. The only good actor that was genuine was the Hulk. When Black Widow left the room after she was tide up it kinda reminded me of dakota fanning in twilight when she introduced her character and entered the room looking all bad-ass; but she wasn't! Black Widow did not look bad ass when leaving the room. Ok we get it, the producer wanted her to seem like she held a lot of power but in reality what was the whole point of all of that? Your in a chair, you got out of a chair, you did flips and suddenly we are suppose to believe that your this amazing warrior. (At this point of the movie I lost interest)

Rhodes' totally convenient ability to control the super high tech suit with no practice or training whatsoever, and get it out of Tony's armory with no security for the sake of movie the film along to pry in Venko's cliche "There is another" storyline? To say he was 'accurately portrayed' is unbelievably false, and it amazes me that you tried to use that as your call-out argument. Tony's representation of cocky, but with a dead-on mission, and his portrayal in the Avengers as arrogant, but always with a plan, were FAR more accurate. The way Tony acted in Iron Man 2 was Tony's state in Demon In The Bottle for about a few panels. I don't want to see a movie of him just acting like only that (which they did). Until recent, Stark was never THAT much of a dick, but instead was more like he was in the first film. 'Accurate' is not a word to describe "Iron Man 2" in any way, shape, or form. They even ruined their own potential in that film.

Looks like filming will be wrapped up in Wilmington on October 26th. Also met Guy Pearce, super nice guy. Looking foward to seeing the third installment.
