Skaar has an ability called the Old Power, which makes him immune to petrification. The Old Power allows him to know if a planet is healthy or dying, it also allows him to manipulate earth, turn his skin to stone which further augments his strength and durability. Skaar can channel seismic energy to enhance his physical striking ability.
