Danny can chi amp, but no insane Iron Fist techniques. More or less around Shangs stats, or maybe a tiny bit of amping, but no more than average..

In the 1970's, they were equals. Can current Danny beat current Shang Chi?

I view skills as even but Danny can amp and has the fist.

As of late Chi seems to have taken a back seat to Danny. Skill wise I still think that they're about equal, however Danny has become far more formidable all things factored in.

Hell, Spider Island confirmed that he's not even mortal anymore when Shang was infected and Danny wasn't because he isn't mortal or some such. Also in Defenders he was shot in the sternum with an alien weapon and basically popped the bullet out of his chest with chi, healed himself and went on to kick some alien ass.

It's Iron Fist's world and Shang Chi just lives in it.
