Odin just stands there and takes everything Iron Man can dish out in his most modern and latest armor. Odin can't use shields, etc. Iron Man can continuously recharge himself. Is it possible for Iron Man to eventually put down Odin? Can he even hurt him?

Tony's just a guy now.

But I'm sure after an hour or two of straight trash talk after downing a bottle of bourbon Odin would be pretty ready for self BFR.

He could probably fire a continuous laser into Odin's one good eye for a year straight and not hurt him. This would be an interesting idea for a thread though with someone like the Hulk instead of Iron man.

Under these specific conditions: sure, why not. It will take quite some time, but eventually, Odin will fall.

Energy blade through the eye?

Tony couldn`t get trough Magneto`s shield without his prep options. No way he does any damage to a premier skyfather like Odin before wearing himself out.
The All Father might get a light tan but that`s about it.

Magneto has a very, very strong forcefield.

Odin hasn't. Not in this fight.

His default durability is off the charts.

Stark can X-Ray blast Odin's face till he develops a brain tumor. Then it's a waiting game till Odin falls.

And Tony wasn't trying to get through his forcefield, he simply spammed repulsors so Mags wouldn't be able to focus and hit him with an electromagnetic pulse.

He doesn`t need one. The old geezer got thick enough skin already.

Odin eventually gets bored and leaves. Tony wins by default

Iron Man knocks himself out when a beam bounces off Odin and takes his mustache off.

Energy wise, I do not believe Iron Man can harm Odin, but physically? No idea~

Physically there's no way in hell he'd hurt Odin.

He'd have better luck with energy than physical attacks. But even then...

He'd have to bust out that energy sword he used to hurt Worthy Grey Gargoyle, and even then, it probably wouldn't hurt Odin.

Energy sword is not going to do anything to Odin. A pulse bolt from the other side of the world might hurt a little (they get stronger the farther they go).

To be honest, Iron Man doesn't have the energy expenditure to hurt Odin and the only times I can think of that he might have come close he was channeling Mandarin's energy as well or been hooked up to a larger power source outside of his armor.

In its naked form , that cosmic firebird is supposed to be vulnerable . Just ask that Shiar fleet which shattered it apart with a laser cannon .

I don't see the phoenix buster armor doing much to Odin .

Tony waits till winter and shoots him with a "sleep" blast
