Consistently top drawer performances recently...The Aviator and Shutter Island are both fantastic. I do think he needs the right director to get his best performances though. Scorcese and Nolan have both had brilliant performances from him. I definitely think he's done more great films than poor ones.

Aviator was the bomb. Whats Eating Gilbert Grape was also.

Shutter Island was epic.

Gangs of New York is one of my most favorite films. Crazy performances by DiCaprio, Neeson, and everyone.

Blood Diamond.

GoNY was... well it's alright. Daniel Day Lewis is great in it at least.
