In the Transformers/GI Joe comics, the Joe's(humans in general) do okay. They have weapons that can harm the bots, and Snake Eyes at one point sliced out Starscream's optic.

But there are several G1 versions. Which one alters the outcome of this fight, because one Megatron walked off a nuke.
