The AMAZO from the beginning is quite different than that gold AMAZO in JLU. Let's decide both encounters. No Phoenix.

So this is the gold Amazo from the cartoon? If so how in the world are the X-Men supposed to win? Even if they had the Phoenix they would likely lose due to its ability to mimic powers to an obscene level. Only Grundy was able to give the robot pause because of the chaos magic running out of control in him. Maybe if Wanda was on the team they'd have a chance, but without some crazy abstract power they'd be beaten worse than the League was.

Who's in the X-men?

So I added the AMAZO from the beginning, before he learned any super power. Let's say Wolverine, Storm, Jean and Beast encountered him first and the others are on the way.

You would have to take away his power copying ability or hes going to womp them

DarkSaint85
Ouch. Those 4 are first on the scene, so he takes their powers and stomps them.
