Well he had a thousand years of prep against the Celestials , and his plans proved to be pretty inconsequential . Considering how Eternity is supposed to be bajillions of times more powerful than a Celestial , giving him a thousand times more prep time wouldn't appear to work either .

Unless he somehow gets his hands on the infinity gems or some other uber artifact like that , I don't see Asgard winning this at all .

Thanos only obtained it because TOAA wanted him to, so no. Plus it doesn't exist anymore.

He'd have a much easier time getting the gems, which should actually be pretty easy for him if he weren't a 'tard.
