Oh man he gimped the flight. That changes things up quite a bit since his best striking feats involve flight. He still has a big speed advantage though. Pretty sure he has a durability advantage as well. Colossus prolly has the initial strength advantage, but Rider would eventually close the gap as the fight progresses since his strength increases depending on how hard he's pressed.

Nova.

Pre-Annihilation he was just at Centurion level, without nearly as much nova force as he'd later get.

Not necessarily true. When he first became Nova he got Rhomen Dey's power which was that of a centurion prime,
he just had no clue how to channel that power until later.

But in a prolonged fight he was almost always able to eventually match people that may have started out stronger then himself. Considering some of pre annihilation Richard's feats, Colossus is definitely not outside of his range.

Colossus wins, no Centurion is strong enough to take Colossus out in a fist fight from what I've seen or lack there of.

Starting off small. Depending on how you feel about Namora and her clone Namorita, supposedly they are either equal to Namor or a tick under him (I don't buy it but so be it). Anyway She's stronger than pre annihilation Nova. At least, at the outset she is...

She makes short work of Rage (hehehe). It's Richard's turn. Or is it?

Tears through a robot that was kicking Savage Hulk's ass back in the day. I think Erik Josten as Atlas struggled with one as well before growing and tearing it apart. Considering Rider was "just a centurion" at that time that's pretty decent company. I'll post the Hulk scans upon request if anyone wants to contrast.

Class 20-50. None of it is relative to Nova because he's been stronger then a normal centurion from the beginning. Even classic Nova was strong enough to lift a building, beat down Diamondhead, hold his own in a fight with Thor and outperform Ben in striking power, raw strength and durability in a team up vs a common foe. And that was before the first upgrade that he received prior to Annihilation.

Here's some stuff from Nova and Ben vs the Monitors. Classic contrast team up where one hero is shown to be superior by doing things that the other can't do. I.e. Simon casually lifting a weight that Ben could barely lift, Thor being able to get up and move against the vacuum of space while Gilgamesh was completely pinned and couldn't budge etc.

Ben can't break free of Nygorn. He's getting crushed and blasted to shit so he screams for Nova to help him Lol. Anyway, unlike The Thing, the 17 year old kid is strong enough to break the grip, which allows Ben a chance to escape.

Just in case you think I'm bullshitting about how heavy those dudes are here is Hyperion straining to lift the foot of one. Once hype is able to trip him up, Nygorn falls on top of Bi-Beast and actually ko's him lol.

Nygorn btw has one shotted a Uatu as well as one shotted the combined force of Binary, Photon (Monica), Blackbolt and a few others with a single blast. He's no joke.

Nova has fought some of Marvel's strongest characters. Thor, Namor, Gladiator, Juggernaut, Rhino and a few in-between. Due to his durability and toughness, none were able to do much more then inconvenience him with their blows. But this guy Kraa basically 3 shots Rider, and would have likely ended it if he hadn't been distracted. The Nova corps deemed him such a threat that they actually built a photon weapon specifically designed to kill Kraa. A measure I doubt they'd take for a mere Colossus level guy lol.

Anyway, Nova eventually uses that weapon, it doesn't kill Kraa and they end up in one on one combat on the planet below. Nova's blasts are useless, so he tries to slug it out and gets his ass kicked...

Kraa is set to end it but gets distracted, which buys Rider enough time to get a second wind.

Rider turns up the juice a little bit, but still not quite enough. Then Kraa had to go and threaten Earth, which pushes Nova over the top.

His brother Zorr was starting to rip up and toss buildings during his fight with Nova. Rhomen dey actually had to resort to teleporting Zorr away from Earth and then channeling all of his ship's power into a focused blast to kill Zorr. A ship that was stated to be larger then planet Saturn lol. Again, measures that I'm just not seeing being needed to put down Colossus level dudes.
