After years of observing earth 616 the Watcher has grown tired of watching the Incredible Hulk's repetitive antics and derivative multihued relations. He searches into alternate realities, seeking Watchers who are similarly tired of their own Hulks and who may be willing to swap their Hulk for a new one. Finding several suitable candidates, the Watcher must now choose which one is to replace 616 Hulk for good.
The candidates are:
Sand Hulk
On earth 658962 the wandering Hulk blundered into the nuclear testing site on a beach in Georgia. Recently escaped criminal Flint Marko sees the Hulk and instead of hiding on the beach he immediately flees the scene and is recaptured. Instead it is the Hulk who is radioactively bonded with the sand, becoming the incredible Sand Hulk!. Sand Hulk is dumb savage Hulk but with the color, texture, and additional powers of Sandman on top of his gamma strength. His battle cry is SAND HULK SMASH!!!
Ant Hulk
In reality 55555555, the Hulk who returned from Jarella's micro-universe never regained his original height. Instead, like the Micronauts in their forays to earth, he only reached a height of a few inches. However he retains his full savage dumb Hulk strength levels and powers, and this tiny titan continues to be a force to be reckoned with on his world.
Detective Hulk
On earth 7000569's the merged Hulk's personality emerged not as Professor Hulk, but as Detective Hulk. Detective Hulk is very similar to Professor Hulk in power levels, but this personality uses his great intellect to solve mysteries. There is nothing he likes more than when a mystery is afoot and he can go to work solving it. Considering himself the World's Greatest Detective, he has taken to wearing a deerstalker hat and smoking a pipe.
Doctor Octohulk
Earth 58975 Bruce Banner had the same idea as Otto Octavius for handling radioactive isotopes - a robotic four-armed body harness. Still wearing the harness as he rushed out to save Rick Jones, the gamma explosion that gave Banner Hulk powers also fused the robot arms to his body. Like his irradiated pants, the harness somehow fits in both Banner and Hulk form. The Hulk uses his robot arms to devastating effect in battle.
Superhulk
On earth 29980202 Doctor Strange died fighting alongside the Defenders against Nebulon the Celestial Man. One of his dying wishes was to grant Valkyrie the Cloak of Levitation. Instead, the Hulk promptly grabbed and wore it ("Hulk want stupid dead magician's cloak, go away Sword Girl and Bird Nose!"
This Hulk is savage dumb Hulk now with the ability to fly.
Rhino Hulk
Earth 897511. The Hulk is captured by Igor and Georgi, who believe his low intelligence and great physical strength will make him the perfect subject for bonding with their Rhino suit. Alexei is passed over. However the scientists underestimated the Hulk's power; soon after the bonding process the enraged Hulk broke free to continue his wanderings as Rhino Hulk. Rhino Hulk cannot understand why a lot of heroes and villains mock his appearance, which frequently enrages him. For some reason despite his vast power, on average this Hulk loses a lot more battles than he really should.

Months after the gamma explosion that created earth 987654321 Hulk, Banner has given up finding a cure for himself via scientific means. Hearing rumors of a mysterious temple in Tibet he spends the last of his money traveling to the Himalayas. There he discovers the Ancient One, who takes Banner in and trains him in the mystic arts and control of his Hulk persona through meditation. Defeating Mordo in battle, Banner eventually becomes Sorcerer Supreme of his world. Besides being a master of the mystic arts, his training allows him to transform into intelligent Hulk at will.
Hulkverine
On earth 23566 Logan died at birth before his mutant powers had a chance to manifest themselves. Many years later the savage dumb Hulk is selected as the subject of the Weapon X adamantium bonding experiment as it is believed only someone with the Hulk's healing factor can survive it. However the Hulk goes berserk, escaping the facility and resuming his wanderings with his indestructible adamantium skeleton and claws - as the Incredible Wolverhulk.
