Batman vs. Superman GO!

So I'm doing an assignment for university on the whether there is a hive mind mentality in forums such as these. To test this I'll be putting this simple question up to see if I can get a varied response or if this forum has already come to a conclusion about this long running battle!
The Setting: Superman has got the city of Arkham as his playground, and Batman has all his tools at his disposal, but he can only carry what his bat belt can hold (so no rocket launcher of kryptonite). Superman has all his abilities readily available to him as well. Batman does have access to his vehicles but only one. Batman may also have a sidekick if he wishes and so may Superman, but Superman's sidekick must be a well known sidekick of his. So no nega-Superman.
Terms of Victory: Superman must be placed in super containment and have absolutely no way to escape, or death. Batman must be dead or also in containment (sidekick must suffer the same fate as Batman).
Reason: Batman has been accused of helping Lex Luthor. Superman has been accused of hiring the killers of Bruce Wayne's parents.
I hope this is enough to stir an interesting conversation.
GO!

umm.... superman looks at batman wrong and batman dies?
DarkSaint85
Batman would be more serious about the fight, Superman won't be as angry as Bruce would be.
That said, if they were both super serious about fighting each other, Batman dies more often than not. The only way he wins, is by kidnapping the Kents, and holding them hostage off world until Clark kills himself.
Trooper5150
I intentionally made it so that Batman would be more angry since he has a greater goal to achieve...an invincible man.

Arkham isn't a city. Yes, I know, the game etc.
Either way, Superman should really win.
DarkSaint85
Batman would get some good licks in, but it would only be stalling the Superman win. Not much he really can do against a serious Clark.

Wasn't Supes only a child when that happened? And it was a single killer.

I'm not sure this is the best way to determine hive mind mentality. People will give similar answers to a lopsided match up.
Ask people to add 2+2 and you'll likely get several answers of "4." They aren't a hive mind. They're answering the question.
This is slightly more subjective, but not much.
....anyways, Iron Fist wins.

Batman won't kill enemies which makes me think he wouldn't consider killing someone who has been a friend for decades

I agree with StyleTime. You want to present a better question to determine your answer. The answer to your question will be "yes" by the way; you're not paying attention if you DON'T detect a hive mentality in some of these threads, if for no other reasons than that there are moderators whose job is, almost by definition, to enforce conformity of thought, but this is quite simply the wrong question to use to determine that.
If you want, send me a private message; if there's enough time, I'm fairly certain I can provide you with one or more near-textbook examples
of what you're looking for.
DON'T rely on me doing this; my schedule and ability to reply in timely fashion is extremely haphazard. You will almost certainly fail if you rely on me. So, again, DON'T rely on me doing this.
For that matter, whatever I do give, you'll want to make sure you run through your professor during office hours to make sure it is accurate in HIS mind; he is the one determining your grade.
Say, if you're in to psychology, especially if it is your major or something, it might interest you to know that the Massachusetts Institute of Technology has its own channel on YouTube. Moreover that they have nearly their entire undergraduate curriculum online, including the lectures of their instructors.
Here's one concerning Social Psychology, VERY much in-line with what you say you're exploring here. Copy the URL below. Then paste it in a new window as your web address. It'll take you to a lecture that a lot of people have found very interesting. I wouldn't recommend listening to the whole thing. If you have the time, great; otherwise just click on the video bar at 3 randomly spaced points around the middle of the video. I strongly recommend viewing the 2 minute segment between the 53 minute to 55 minute section, for instance.
Pick 3 more random points and you might find some unexpectedly useful information. Hope this helps.

By the way, if this doesn't work, go to YouTube, MIT channel and find the 9.00SC Introduction to Psychology, Lecture 22 Video.
(There are sometimes technical problems when trying to link to Youtube from a website like this one.)
Take care.

Batman. Too smart for Superman.

Superman. Has all the time in the world to think of anything Batman could do before Batman has even begun processing a thought.
