Supes - boyscout, views himself as a simple farm boy.

Thor - extremely overconfident, views himself as a mighty god that commands mighty lightning with a mighty hammer from the awesome and mighty kingdom of mighty Asgard, son of the mighty Odin - King of the gods, etc.

Thats a really good thor description there.

How they view themselves?

1. Conflicted, torn, tries to do his best but fears its sometimes not enough.
2. Mighty protector, a warrior, as long as he can be worthy of Mjolnir.
3. Mighty protector, a warrior, a potential ruler.
4. Bored and essential.
5. A ruler of the universe, and worthy of Death's love.

How is this a VS thread?

Also, I hate what DCNU is doing with Adam. I much preferred him as a morally ambiguous anti-hero that lashed out due to grief. Not some nut who wants to wipe people out.

Do you....read much Thor? Like, when in the last decade has he NOT placed himself below the hearts and wills of mortals because he respects them so much? Yelling "HAVE AT THEE, VILLAIN, OR I SHALL LAY THEE LOW!" doesn't constitute hubris. One of the main things that separates him from other Asgardians is his awareness of the fragility of the gods.

Why's this in the VS Forum?

1. Superman - noble, boyscout (though in DCnU he is less so), he is the standard for "good guys" who'll do the "right thing"

2. Thor - noble, righteous, with evident Asgardian worldview

3. Black Adam - easy to anger, cares for his people, sometimes misunderstood

4. Lucifer Morningstar - bored but always cunning and playing the long con

5. Thanos - emo, very smart but still very emo
