Even Omega Red's tendrils are so highly radioactive they're always to the point of nearly killing him. And his healing factor is on par with Sabretooth and Wolverine's when it's at it's most ridiculous.

Ock was never in good health, to be surrounded by that much carbonadium would kill him in minutes if not less.

I thought it was stated by the "new" doc-ock in JMS' run?

If it was stated, then it should be wrong. As it would have killed him.

I don't know. But I'm saying if he stated his old arms were Carbonadium, then he should be dead. So he's wrong in stating that.

Standard arms Ock is easy prey for Logan.

Adamantium arms were monstrous, Wolvie gets put down by those.

You already asked for the scans once?

Is there anything on how long the average person could survive exposure to carbonadium? Does it affect them over years, like when Lex got radiation poisoning from his Kryptonite ring?

Omega Red's carbonadium is constantly poisoning him to the point that if not for his powers and his life absorbing, he would have died shortly after getting the tendrils.

There's only one way to deal with it. The Carbonadium Synthesizer, and Logan had it hidden for years. And when it finally showed up(in Logan's possession yet again), he hid it once again.

So there was no way for him to do that.

It's a maddening frustration to no longer have the X-Men #5-7 (1992) story arc in my possession.

If I could only post the relevant panels, it might end all this talk of carbonadium being some death-dealing substance all on its own.

Maybe if contained within the human body in large amounts it might produce some problems. But it really has been stated repeatedly that the very reason Omega Red has forever been seeking what people keep calling "c-synth" is because carbonadium is the very metal that COUNTERS his personal mutant death factor.

Carbonadium is exactly WHAT that c-synth device makes!!

Omega Red has the ability, and need, to drain the life force of victims with his pheromones in order to sustain his own. Omega Red can likewise ensnare his victims within his tentacles, and use the coils as a conduit for his lethal pheromones. Due to the mutant "death factor" and the presence of the carbonadium within his body, Omega Red must drain the life force of others on a regular basis in order to sustain his own physical health and remain active. Omega Red can use these absorbed energies to, temporarily, increase his body's healing capabilities to the point where he can fully heal from a punctured lung within a few minutes. Only a device known as the Carbonadium Synthesizer can stabilize his condition, as carbonadium is the only metal that can neutralize the "death factor", thereby stabilizing it within his body.

Yeah him just breaking like that is pretty silly, unless that armor gives him waay more strength than I know of.

The arms are not and were not solid carbonadium, guys.

You can look at the artwork and see the covering of Ock's arms was only about an inch or so thick.

About carbonadium; do us a favour and finally read Wolverine: Origins. Current post-retcon stuff is all that matters on forums and handbooks aren't reliable at all, sadly.

Bucky did, but yeah he got those bullets from Logan for that exact purpose.

Carbonadium reduces hf speed to "crawl", it affected BC Wolverine, Daken, Omega Red, Cyber (even though his carbonadium pacemaker was on the outside of his adamantium armor, it still poisoned him).

In a "current post-retcon" comic, after all he DID so.

Unless the Carbonadium Synthesizer was created by Arceus or something, I bet it was constructed by a guy, who was likely not as smart as Doc Ock, so Octavius may have built one of his own.

Because it's PIS at its worst. Even the Class 100 characters would have trouble performing that feat (assuming they would be able to achieve anything at all) and Parker's definitely not in that league. Few extreme showings don't place him that high.

Several years...? Not really. Two years.

Class 100's wouldn't have trouble doing that feat. They would break it like wet noodles, chump.

Spiderman has at least one feat of the top of my head that puts his strength way above what it is regarded as.
