What really happened is that Fury had just surfaced after overwhelming Jaspers' form,
the Writer stated it was still regenerating when Brian & Captain Avalon,
jumped it with everything they had, although weakened the Fury almost killed them,
but then Blink dumped all her Energy Quills into the vulnerable Fury,
the Quills exploded, reducing the Fury to the size of a worm, but Alive!

The Fury crept into a wound in Merlin's ankle. Hasn't been heard from since.

Anyone magical in nature should be able to defeat the Fury without much trouble. Blackheart could do it, for example.. He wouldn't be affected by a being like The Fury.

Since when was "Magic" a Fury weakness?
